Despite his outstanding good looks, Master Ridge is an all round winner who not only survived entrapment on a barbed wire fence but he is blessed with a calm and accepting disposition that helped prevent further wire damage.
Instead of thrashing around on the wire, Master Ridge just hung there calmly waiting for help to arrive.
As a result, he has a sizeable hole in his wing membrane but this will heal up beautifully over the coming weeks.
Lucky us as we get to enjoy this handsome man until his eventual release back to the wild.

That's lovely that the fence owner will tag the fence. The goats should find that interesting, and edible if edible.

In the US barbed wire is also a problem. Not so much the top wire as it is the bottom. Pronghorn antelope tend to crawl under the wire, especially the fawns, and if it's barbed it can scratch them up terribly. The adults might heal from it but the scratches can and do kill fawns from infection. BLM and other government agencies that maintain public lands do change the bottom wire out when they can, but there's millions of miles of private fencing that hasn't been changed. If you live in an area with barbed wire please check to see which line of it is causing problems for your wildlife, change it if you have barbed wire fencing and get the word out if you don't.

‼️😍❤️😍❤️😍‼️
More just cool!😂
🦇❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've always been wondering whether bat's membrane heals if damaged?
Yep as long as it's not torn through all the way to the edge of the wing. If that happens then the healing doesn't work right without a ton of effort to keep the edge pulled together and I'm guessing the bat probably isn't going to be that cooperative with whatever is used to try to hold it. But anyway assuming the wing edges are intact then membrane damage normally heals fine.
Покажите пожалуйста как он летает
Are they more likely to lap the juice via the nostrils v the side of the mouth?
😢barbed wire should be banned
