Dont use neon’s slide rn on console since you will actually get punished for it since its bugged rn and doing the normal pullout animation instead of the fast pullout only use the slide if your ulting/fast rotating

@notjord317 yeah I didnt think it was a glitch like them. I just thought it was the change they did on console for agent abilities. That said, it is DOGSHIT and should just be pc pull out. Aim assist is already a big enough buff 😂

Honest question is aiming with the L2 worth it or make a difference do you just practice getting the cursor to their head and shooting or tapping the trigger as if you’re playing on PC

Bro i just bought a new laptop which gives me 400fps(165hrtz) earlier i used to play in 40-60 fps or even lower than 40 at 800x600 res and lowest settings possible 😐 i couldn't see guys far away and now after this big upgrade i feel like a god i ranked up from s3 to d1 under 2-3 weeks i feel like a god people call me smurf and i top frag almost everymatch it feels so good tbh and btw love your content keep growing you helped me a lot ❤❤❤

The aim curves are not aim assist settings, they are response curves that dictate how your input will be interpreted for example if you move your joystick 50% on linear you will get 50& speed of your current sensitivity it is 1:1 raw input however, the other curves that aren't linear are variations of exponential curves so for example now when you move your joystick 50% the game could give you 25% sens speed (these arent actual in game numbers im just using random numbers for the sake of the example) this varies depending on how steep the curve is. The mnk equivalent would be people who use mouse acceleration, not exactly the same but you get the idea. Obviously mouse accel is usually not recommended but on controller it helps some people make those micro adjustments while still being able to run a faster sens when the stick is pushed all the way. Hope this helped.

Other games this is correct. In valorant aim curves do affect aim slowdown near a target. It’s very simple to test for yourself. Go to the range and drag your aim over a target on aggressive curve and light curve. You’ll see a huge difference. Test before you babble.

@@SVSTARZ Have you played console valorant at all? Your crosshair very noticeably slows down over enemies; which is considered a form of aim assist. You can try it out in the practice range
I’m new to Val and always wanted to play. Just started the beta and having fun, but my biggest issue is shots going through and understanding settings. I’ll combine these settings with what else I’ve learned for tonight’s stream and cross my fingers, a lot of good points, much appreciated :)
Accuracy penalties for the slightest movements is just bad game design is the biggest issue.. that and the MMR.
With the movement is there a certain distance I should do it at or is it something I should try to do no matter if the gunfight is close or long range?
Mostly in short to mid range making you harder too hit while in longer range it might impact your crosshair

I stopped using focus mode because my senz was already slow. I mainly use it when the enemy is far away because it generally helps keep it steady. With your settings i think I can use it again a practice

man when I see your kill with dualsense i cant get it how u doing it. my pick rank is radiant at pc as well. but ive no clue how ppl can aim. any deathmatch i finish with 2 kill in 10 min in console. my sense kinda like 200 X 1600 dpi or someshit. as soon as i TOUCH controler aim stick in f*king spiing me and my crosshair goes up n down and i spin like 10 times a sec when i trigger it. smth wrong with my controller or thats bcz i never play shooter at console idk. i really need help with it

I'm gonna use the setting from this vid to try out. But idk what I'm meant to do. Every gun fight I get into is just completely random and rng. I hit headshots for body damage or my shots go all around them. Meanwhile they're hitting each shot
You're either not coming to a full stop before shooting or not actually lining up the headshot. Make sure you are never rushing your shot.
I have a problem with people coming up behind me and shooting me but I will try out your recommended settings and see how it works I been playing Valorant for 3 days now.
Don't sprint only walk to remain quiet however this is why it's important to have a sentinel on your team to hold down your flank on offense and cover choke points on defense

There probably will be a different meta. I saw a video of someone saying not to use focus mode because the aim assist is just as strong without it. I'm sure we'll also find out the best aim assist settings and stuff like that too.
Operator plays gonna be much more easy to use since you get a little auto aim on console. Can´t wait to see everyone just playing Snipers only to Immortal on Console.

Nah like why doesn’t pc have the sound indicator when ur making sound, they should add it so it helps new players understand what jumps do and don’t make sound, as well as sorta as an assist for players with bad headsets

Yes, as long as you sign in with your Riot account for the beta, there is cross-progression so you will keep all your PC skins and progress.

There are no aim assist settings, aim assist is on by default. The "aim assist settings" are actually response curves.
Response curves take a linear line (raw input) and curves it. The curved response curves slow down your sensitivity the slower you move your stick, while linear has no slowdown. Aim assist is the same with or without focus, no matter the response curve.

Well bro about the focus mode part i watched another yt ber literally saying ‘ppl think it gives u extra aim assist only because it slows down ur ads speed’ so idk what is actually the truth at this point. U might aswell just lower ur base sense and not use focus

It's currently a closed beta. You need to register at beta.playvalorant.com and you'll get an email if you get access. They hand them out pretty generously, and I have some extras if you need one.
Focus mode is useless if u think about it and focus mode doesnt give extra aim assist its the same as when ur not im focus mode it doesnt help woth recoil or bloom if u rlly want to get good just practice and make settings to your preference.
I don't use focus mode and have spoke to others who doesn't either. We feel we get an advantage w/o it by going straight to ads and we've been playing controller only for years. Anyway are we truly giving ourselves a disadvantage?
ADS is very bad in Valorant, because it lowers your fire-rate while making your spraying inaccuracy happen faster. I've seen some people argue that Console hip-fire is better than using focus mode, which makes sense, but actually full ADSing is the worst out the 3 in 99% of situations.
focus does not give you aim assist it only allows you to toggle your lower sens or higher depending on which you have it as. Some people make focus higher and play with lower base sens but most use lower on focus and higher on base
I can't speak on the aim assist but the default crosshairs indicate that you have a tighter bullet spread in Focus Mode. Not sure if it actually does that for sure, though.

Personally i barely use focus mode, only when its a very long range fight, its very overrated. You can adjust your aim perfectly without it easily.

Focus mode adds no aim assist, thats why all the other pros are saying dont even use it
