omg I'm so happy to see a spark-tier 3* for my favorite character in Atelier series :D 5% recovery for S1 does have a good amount of utility function. Lightning-Resna's skill 1 has been helping me a ton in dungeons where I can use the smaller fights in between to bring my party HP back up. As for Rorona's skill 2, I think it's the fact unlike other characters who give X bonus for 1character/1turn, hers is targettable, which means you can use her to auto-crit the next burst for example.
Yeah, the heal does okay in dungeons, but it's a fairly weak bonus overall. It becomes even worse when we get strong, auto-include area healers like Lydie. Targeting crits is fine, but you have to remember you're using an entire character for just that purpose - everything else her kit brings is fairly negligible - so it's tough to justify her inclusion in a team for just that! Especially when there's other competitive crit supports that are quite a bit stronger.

She goes from a naive, dependent, but optimistic 14 y/o girl who doesn't know anything about the world except that she wants to find her lost mother and who was "so weak she'd lose a fight against a rat", to becoming a legendary adventurer and an extremely considerate + dependable alchemy teacher and mentor to Meruru, Piana, and even Lulua (each of them become an amazing alchemist by their own right), all by the age of 26.
@@atelierangela True, just guaranteeing crits to one attacker isn't going to be as useful as bringing another attacker in most situations. I just don't think she deserves the BAD tier. If anything else, you can pair her up with slash-Valeria and auto-crit that already-crazy +120% burst.

I've been waiting for Sterk and an older Rorona. Shame that it's just a winter outfit(still cute), but them also being both bad hurts. I'll still probably save my gems for her because she's my favorite character, but I just wish she had a better time of it.

Anyone exactly how crits work in this game? Does it double damage? Triple Damage? Ignore defense/buffs? Every game handles crits so differently but I can't find anything in-game that defines what critting actually does in this game, which makes it a lot harder for me to gauge the value 100% crit chance actually provides. Same with elemental advantage, what is that actually doing? 50% more stun and hp damage? 100% more stun and hp damage? Only increase to hp damage? Or resistances, is damage cut by 30%? 50%? Etc. I also never quite understand what is better, attack up, skill damage up, magic/phy damage up, affinity damage up? Like why does skill damage up get bigger boosts in crafting compared to mag/phy damage? Does it not include bursts, I thought bursts were skills? Or is skill damage up calculated in such a way that your getting less of a boost then the others? Too much hidden calculation info for me to know how to best build my equipment and teams.
A11 Sterk mechanic wise is probably decent if your team needs a character that can shift from Breaker role to a Attacker role. His mechanic looks like it was designed for him to focus on breaking enemies first then build up the buff into being a attack later. Though this is a rather tricky mechanic for a character because to fully utilize this, players need another breaker to help break the enemy so Sterk can focus on his Attacker role when he has his Attacker buff up. At the sametime, if his attacker buff is not up when enemies are already in a break status, then he miss his chance to utilize his attacker status damage output.
love your videos 😊 would you be up to make a video about synthesis roadmap for global? Like what to invest into crafting at different stages of progression. I think people would like to avoid crafting gear, which become obsolete in the next event 🫶
Since you mentioned orange candies (i hope we get those soon along with the...purple ones?) will there be an update on the training quests cause the master EXP quest does not give a lot unless they're literally at level one (i've been grinding it to get my characters maxed out but it consumes so much stamina 😫.) Same with, are we going to get a higher quest on orbs and pieces? Cause the larger light orbs barely drop and i'm getting frustrated lol, wish there was at least more in the shop...😅.

So glad that she's good, I was disappointed that they made her base version a 2* at first but this makes up for everything. Totori is my favorite character and this just gave me all the justification to save my gems for her.
There's a lot of other ways to get crit, Rorona is pretty difficult to use properly because the buff only lasts one turn - if you use skill 1 to re-order, it's gone, if your turn order gets slightly screwed up, it's awkward, etc. With no other benefits, not even a decent heal, she is reaaaaaally not worth the party slot in most cases.

General question about the game, should we be guided by the recommended PWR whitout cheese enemies with strategies (like the manipulation of the turns)? I say because I always tried to go even and several times I won easily like that and other times it is even. When I tried one that asked for about 300 points above what I had, I was able to win it after many attempts, but now in chapter 3 (part 40 onwards) I can no longer go above level 40 until I finish it and I have 5 memories at 30 , 5 boards to 6, characters at level 40, and the event equipment. I say because I cannot go above 6300 but history asks me for 6800 upwards. Or maybe they are numbers if all your characters have 5 stars, I find it difficult to reach the numbers it asks of me if I can't upload anything else until I complete the chapter.
rec power is basically completely random, sometimes it's easy sometimes it isn't but yeah you won't be getting more power until you finish chapter 3 and get your levels unlocked, that's the most important thing

With 3 level V critical damage traits, maybe the Rorona with 100% crit chance could be decent? Assuming you can link it up with skill power too.
