I think you can understand this gacha game as a way to introduce players to Atelier and let them decide to play the franchise or not. FGO Global exists to make sure people stay in contact with Fate's franchise as long as possible.

Unit shards for ascensions aren't a concern for me because we can do daily piece farming via training quests. The longer you play the game the higher your characters will be ascended.
I Pre-registered for this game. Didnt k ow anything about this series, but i enjoy it for a side game. Since FF7 ever crisis has been enjoyBle for me lately with its schedule, ill be able to play this a bit more.
I can see how the fan base of this franchise is upset but they gotta see the bigger picture! Mobile gaming is a cash cow for gaming companies, this is a great opportunity to introduce the title to more people and bring in moneys for future pc/console projects.
While free players won't be able to get all the characters, as long as we can progress through the story till the end then it's all good. I'm only going for Lydie Suelle, the story, Resleriana and Izana!!
Pros: Unli skip battle, smooth gameplay, shortcut buttons, non-messy interface, above average drop rates, cool characters, husbandos. Cons: a bit stingy on the summoning currency, lackluster launch event, lacking on energy. This is all I can think of atm. What do you guys think?
I am really glad that I'm not one of these people who just wants to start crying immediately after a game comes out. It's been one day people. Just enjoy the honeymoon. And worry about the rest later.
Maybe but I've seen community make changes haha. We will see but yes the game is good so far. Little stuck atm on a few things due to power and requirements but it's a good pace
The only thing from skipping and maybe I’m wrong so if you could double check for me but to me, it looks like when you skipp you got less items and if you played it out
You can farm dupe shards, 3x per day. Dupes are literally free. Don’t sweat the dupes. 3 shards per day for each of your party members. Only issue I think will be the gem income, but hopefully they find a good balance between free to play & spenders. I don’t plan to spend much on this game, because I whale on Black Clover, so I really hope I can keep playing this game as a low spend, semi-f2p.
Just takes an insane amount of dupes tho. Like for example, if I recall to get from 3.5 stars to 4 it takes 150 for one unit. By the time u get enough, that unit or units maybe replaced

From what I’ve read on discord, and seen from other content creators who played jp version, the dupes are supposedly bad? Which is wild to think. I hope there is merit to these claims. As of right now, I’m enjoying the game though for what it is. I spent 4 hours rerolling the “perfect” account (Ryza, Corneria, Resna, Marie, & Judie). I just hope these characters hold their value as the game progresses.
@@PayneBlade Not as insane as you may think. The piece quest gives 1-3 per time doing. The better the quest you can do, the quicker. The best piece quest gives 3 piece per time, so 3 times a day = 9 pieces. Without any dupes from gacha, takes only about 3 months to fully 5 stars one char. Not only that, you can also purchase the pieces from dupes of other char to speed up this process. All in all, dupes are generally not needed. The game rewards MORE character per account instead of dupes. Makes synthesis much more substantial with more characters.
I dont like the Gacha part(90€ for 24 rolls lol) but the rest is good. Thanks to the fast reroll everyone use a different team Setup. Not like in HSR where everyone used Seele, Bronya, Natasha and Stelle/March/Clara at Release. Good is that 1-2* are not useless Units. Resna at 1* was good and now with 3.5* she is not OP or something. She have now 8-9% higher stats thats all. If i remember on ToF where every SR was useless and the Standart SSR got powercreeped with every new banner that was crap.

Not in defense of Gust's decision to make a gacha game, but more of a defense for gacha games. #1 Gacha games are meant to be played for at least a few days to see all it has to offer. Usually you aren't gated by how much time you can put in but instead by how much time has passed since you started your account. We all know this is designed to get you to spend more time on the game and be more inclined to spend, but if it wasn't designed this way it would be a bad product in general. #2 Gacha games are ultimately free to play, and while there are a lot of things that might make you want to spend, just don't spend. I have been playing gacha games since I was 18 and never spent anything on a game until Honkai Star Rail for 5 bucks lol. Finally I do hope Gust takes back the statement that Resleriana is a main game. With this said, If there is anything that might pressure fans into spending and feeling like they need to invest too much time in this, its the fact that they said it's a main game. They only said it was a main game for the money. Sad because I had only played Ayesha a while back, but the money grabbing from a Dev that can put their resources towards something worthwhile leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Imagine Square Enix (the scale is much bigger, I'm aware) releasing FF17 and its a gacha. I really hope this isn't the direction the industry is heading as a whole tho. Blame Hoyoverse lol

But it also the powercreep in game not big like other like honkai star rail and genshin. But i give critics to dev for gacha that rate is low. Well, if you count the dailies and weeklies (plus the stars you´ll get from watching the ad, the minimum!) it will take 11 Months and a lil bit more to be able to pity 1 character. As much as i love this game but this is quite ridiculous imo. Not to mentioned that these tickets you can buy for half the price will give you NO trade medals , this is a HUGE let down , reaaaly huge.Of course, they´ll come up with events basically every 2 weeks(rewards you can trade for the tokens you´ll get are underwhelming as well ) but still. I really was hoping for a battle pass or something monthly subsription but ´ i´ll should have known it better.It´s Gust after all. So the star-situation isn´t better in JP after all :/ I´ve played it since 2 weeks and it´s out for quite a bit The synth system is something that is concerning as well. You nedd some specific characters for example corneria or one dude-forgot his name xD- to slap a skill dmg trait on stuff. Without a lot of units your chance for the right traits is quite limited The story itself is really beautifull, it´s a100% Atelier game and since there is no PVP at all, everyone can play at their own speed . For being a new Atelier mainline game, this is just a basic gacha game with an atelier skin slapped on it, worst game of the series and just a cheap cash-grab. Instead of spending money for rolling on characters in this game, people should just buy the actual game that features the character, which will be much cheaper....
Yeah no exploration, no Alchemy gameplay, which are two important fun factors in the series. The problem is not it being gacha, the problem is it's not even an atelier game.
I never played any Atelier games before but one thing for sure if I'm going to spend money on an Atelier game I'm going to spend it on their actual dedicated game and not this gacha game version.
I could never get into the main Atelier games but Resleriana sucked me right in. I really can't be bothered with the exploration. The story, characters, soundtrack, and the production values for this game overall have been great.

Same items! You just get more when you do the x3 dailies
