But I just find it a bit funny/ironic, that after grinding the Steel Staff for all my supporters now I have to do it again for the Angel Staff lol. It'd also be really nice to get the Halloween banner and hopefully we get it before actual Halloween... Thanks for the video!

I have "it's time to study" at level 3 just thanks to wishes. I don't know if I should raise it to 5 with the 2 pieces I have. I also didn't remember that "Enhanced Buff A" doesn't work with crit. chance, so I made a whole set for Bolt Resna twice :(
I wouldn't use memory crystals on it, it's good but its scaling isn't better than other options that are coming dmg buff trait still works on resna's burst and if you put gear on her like angel staff, crimson armor, etc, it'll scale those buffs. it's still solid for her
Herbal shirt does not give any p.def, it is just a 50 DEF item as opposed to other options that give 65 DEF and breeze dress gives 95 DEF. So Breeze dress might ramp up slower, but the 45 M.def difference more than makes up for it in my opinion. And these are increased by alchemy research, so it might end up around a 5-7% difference in the overal M.def of a lvl 80 Totori. From what I understand from the damage formula, Def decreases damage in linear fashion, so 7% increased m.def pretty much translates to 7% less damage taken from magic attacks. Could be a bit less a lot more depending on what memoria you use and what level you are. This is as valuable as the whole another item bonus. Also you did not mention Flourish Heart, that one works great as well, right?
You'll end up with ~4% less dmg taken* from magic attacks using the breezy dress over herbal shirt, but you'll lose sustain and DR against phys attacks, unless you're fighting a single enemy (this isn't common). And the better magic DR is assuming same passive stacks - on average, you'll have more passive stacks from the herbal shirt, so it evens out. If you're doing content where you can say "Yeah, I'm only taking magic damage here", you can go full in on magic defense, but for a general-use set it's better to have defense that works against both damage types. (in my opinion) Basically, there's a lot of choices, they're all good, but which one is "best" is very situational. I suppose I should have explained that a bit better! Thanks! *edit: ofc this depends on stars, memoria, some other things - in the most charitable scenario you might get 6-7% MDEF from the dress over the shirt, with my current totori setup on JP it's like +4%
@@atelierangela Yeah, I agree that it's usually better to have both, but unfortunately most memoria and armour that are good for Totori currently heavily favour M.def.
If you're using her as a pure supporter and not damage, it's still a good trait for her as long as you use gear/memoria that's scaled by it (Angel Staff, Crimson Leather Armor, It's Time to Study), etc. It also scales the crit damage buff she gives with her burst, which is pretty big.
On skill use and when attacked are very different conditions. If herbal shirt was on skill use it would be really bad. The other weapons I mentioned are also just much better imo
I threw the herbal shirt on her the second I saw it healed on hit. She literally never dies with how fast she stacks her passive, it's insane.

oh my i through Totori is just similiar to sophie, but oh my shes almost invincible, can heal all team members and her buffs are crazy op ._.
