Bill Murray made a few of these comedies in the 80s where he’s basically playing himself. ”Stripes” from 1981 is another hilarious one where he plays this character and Harold Ramis again plays the straight man sidekick. Even in Tootsie, where he's supposed to be the straight man to Dustin Hoffman's crossdressing struggling actor, he steals all the scenes he's in.
