Nice work on the door. That lower door hinge must have been a weak area in the design because the hinge on my 40 passenger door was messed up too and it did not have much rust.
I would agree that probably is a weak area. There isn’t much structural support at the bottom of those doors. In my case what little bit it had was gone. Thanks for following along!

Thats a lot of work, well done. Luckily my doors werent that bad a shape rust wise but I had to do a lot of messing around to get them to fit the car.

My hinges some are welded to.jams get pins out well.got dr door off broken clamp pin tool i got get new tool heat hinges
I heated hinges till they were about to melt, and the pins still wouldn’t come out. Thanks for watching
