Ducky One 3 TKL Azerty Unboxing & Review | Vs. Razer Huntsman & Das

In this video we are doing an unboxing and a quick high level review of the Ducky One 3 TKL Black, Azerty, Cherry MX Clear switches keyboard.
We also compare it (key sounds, RGB lighting) with the Razor Huntsman Gaming TKL with Red Linear switches and the Das Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches.

Thanks for review. I'd appreciate if you made a deeper dive into features / software and "DIP Switches" (that thing underneath the keyboard). I am specifically interested if INSERT, SCROLL LOCK and PAUSE BREAK keys can be remapped to something like media keys (PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP TO NEXT).

@@readycomputerone Any updates on this subject? The manual mention "macros", which seem to effectively remap keys, but unsure if the mentioned keys can be mapped like this.

​@@SirRFI Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Have been swamped lately with work, will try to post an updated video soon. Normally keys should be able to be remapped regardless of keyboard setup. For windows you have autohotkey.com (I have used in the past and very effective) and under Linux which I use, you have xmodmap. I'll cover Linux in my review and can try Windows if you use that

@@readycomputerone Unfortunately, AHK is often detected as cheat. I know I could just use something else for the same result, but since the keyboard somewhat has such feature - I wonder how it works in this case. Wouldn't be needed if the keyboard was re-programmable in QMK/VIA I guess?

@@SirRFI So I was able to test what you asked and unfortunately the Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Pause buttons can't be re-mapped. However the insert button can be. I have published the second review, let me know if you have any questions.

MX Clear is the best, it was on my 1st mech keyboard. Originally, I wanted MX blue, bought clears by mistake, but they so grew on me I will never swap😊

Hi there, did you check this: Ducky Channel One 3 TKL White, www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00534216.html. It's an azerty keyboard so the enter key will be 'L' shaped. Let me know.

(Je me permet de commenter en français, les inscription sur le colis t'ont trahi ^^ mais très très bonne accent) j'hésite vraiment entre le switch cherry mx brown et le clear pour le one 3 envie d'un son satisfaisant opti pour les jeux mais taper sans trop de faute non plus, une aide stp? Merci.

Hello! Merci pour ton commentaire. Alors je dirais que les clear ne t'aideront pas forcement à faire moins de faute (c'est plus lié à ton style de frappe, entraîne toi sur typing.com) mais il te faudra clairement appuyer plus sur les touches pour les activer. Personnellement j'aime les clear et meme si au toucher c'est un peu 'lourd' je pense m'habituer sur le court terme. Pour les jeux je pense que les brown t'aideront à être plus rapide, notamment dans les FPS, dans les autres type de jeu ca n'a pas d'importance je pense. Par contre puisque tu peux plus tard changer complètement les touches et meme avoir un mélange tu peux prendre sereinement le clear ou brown. Perso après mon utilisation, je vais rester sur du clear. Je vais faire une review de retour d’expérience prochainement. A bientôt.

@@readycomputerone D'accord merci beaucoup pour ta réponse clair et complète je pense plutôt opter pour du brown car je suis clairement plus orienté sur le gaming et plus tard changer de switch si besoin, tu gagne un abonné et un like!
