this is by far the best bream fishing video on youtube! hell of a good job explaining what the fish love. we do the same way here in israel with our bream and sea bass
I use no sinker and maybe a very small splitshot sinker if there's wind or current. Get bait close to the bottom and let it drift as naturally as possible as it covers more ground. Result is a pb of 48cm bream !
Not disagreeing but how I do it is ...A running sinker as small as is practical ..no swivel and 6 lb line to a single hook . No leader .same knot though .. I fish really snaggy places and often will even discard the sinker because it's one more thing to get snagged. Regularly catch kilo plus bream . Only ever broken the line on snags a couple of times and I always let them hook themselves .
Wow just seeing this out of the box th-cam.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
People will differ, but I always aim for the 2 hours before high tide. Particularly if it's early morning or late afternoon when there is less sun around
I have to agree Lionel. For me, it’s the only way I fish. Same goes with bait versus fly fishing, I’ll give any fly fisherman a run for their money using a bubble float and mudeye.

Can you please tell me exactly what weight sinker you use. And also what pound braid and leader you use?
Hi @thehookandthecook how can I catch bream and flathead to eat on the shore because I don’t have a boat
lure for flathead and big prawns with a large hook
I use 2 hooks no sinker works great hooked some big ones up
Thanks for you bream jigs, and I will also try out a float.
do you need certain hooks for bream?
Any size to match your bait
no, you can use any size hook... even a micro hook but their mouths are small so not too big
Love your tips and vids
Great video, thanks. What is the best time of the day to fish for bream?
People will differ, but I always aim for the 2 hours before high tide. Particularly if it's early morning or late afternoon when there is less sun around

Excellent. Thanks. Lionel.
Thanks for sharing
Which one is better berly or chicken breast
Please subscribe to my new channel much appreciated thank you
berly is used to attract fish to your boat.. but chicken can be use actual bait (berly is hard to get on the hook)
Use chicken thigh
Once the bait touches the bottom, can I just leave it there?
yes you can as bream feed all over the water column if using a sinker it will hit the bottom anyway
yes, but you just have to wait for a fish to swim by or give it more attention by lightly jerking the rod
He yum do u have a favourite rod co,bo
You made some decent factors there. I regarded on thevideo for the problem and located most people will go along with together with your video.
