1000hp has a power band about as wide as your dick is long. a 650 car will almost ALWAYS be faster on the street because it makes MUCH more power under the curve.

I had a 92 eg back in 99/00 with a b18 swap and thought it was a beast running 15's, high 14's. Gosh I miss that car now, it was a very similar blue too 💙

I bought a 2001 Civic EX that had jumped timing and bent the valves/rods a few years back for $200 from a neighbor which I found a y8 head on marketplace for $45 on marketplace. Had it delivered and swapped it out over a weekend in my backyard with hand tools and drove it for 4 years hahaha.

If only I had aftermarket support for my Saturn SL2 I added about as much bolt ons as possible, ported intake manifold bigger throttle body and upgraded the whole suspension but in order to really make it fun, I figure it's going to have to be a swap, like a Buick regal inline 4 turbo ecotech, SS cobalt ecotech, etc to make it run 11s and 10's, super light with potential but it's always about the money and lack therov too! $$$ BTW, can tell u guys are in Florida too before I spotted the tag..lol

I had a 91 Integra two-door LS hatch with a 1.8 liter all I did to it was put a cold air intake a vibrant sport exhaust cat back and mind you I lived in Maine at the time so I had winter studded tires on it and I always wish I could have it as all-wheel drive I mentioned it a lot with my friends how it would be so capable

650HP setup is perfect honestly, I know some guys chase for the 1000HP+ setups but this is more than enough and definitely not slow.
1000hp will always spin out on street. Those builds are only for the track.
