I cant wait to try this recipe. I made your crock pot red tamales a while back and everyone loved them. We dont have hatch chilies where I am, can I substitute Anaheim peppers or what would you suggest?
OMG you have hit the nail on the head with this recipe!! Thank you so very much, I cannot eat red Chile since I had surgery, but I can eat green Chile of any kind!! I will have to make half the recipe since it just 2 of us at home. Again MUCHAS GRACIAS.
I’ve never thought to make chili verde pork tamales. I have a chili verde pork and sauce made in my slow cooker/IPot already. Is that basically what’s in your recipe? Ilove how informative you present your videos and thinking of making as a good luck dish for new years as pork and corn items are good luck foods
Is this the original recipe you posted? I remember following your recipe for pork green chili tamales a couple years ago. I can’t find the video and I’m panicking, lol. I need to make some for Christmas Eve! Help please!
Your recipes are delicious and easy to follow. I have tried some of them and yum yum! Can you use this green sauce for chicken tamales? Thank you so much for sharing your recipes. ❤
I am going to try your recipe! Thank you!! Merry Christmas
Happy holidays!

Tomal looks delicious.
Interesting twin tamales!
Do you find that you have to keep adding water to the pot?
They look so yummy! Green sauce is my favorite!

👍♥️♥️♥️♥️🤤
For the lard can I use the “Manteca” lard solid blocks that’s shelf stable or mix lard from a Mexican stores food court and shortening like crisco?
Any manteca will do. If using the store bough blocks, make sure it's at room temperature so it's easier to whip.
Looking good 👍🏻 😋can I add cheese 🧀 🤔
can not wait to try this recipe for my family for Christmas!! How long do you steam the tamales for?
When do you add baking soda y baking powder?
I cant find your red sauce pork tamale recipe 😭😭😭😭 was going to make some today

Just add a little bit of love and they will come out amazing.
It not say how many corn husks or how many packages to buy…?

You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
These look amazing and green chili pork is my favorite! As someone who's never made tamales before, is this something I could tackle on my own?
Thanks, sounds like a delicious recipe. Just wondering if you ever noticed a problem with bitter tomatillos? Also, how many tamales did this make?
It depends on the size of the tamales. I made 6 dozen with the amount of ingredients.
