No chance in hell that the umpire intervenes like that if it's Fed/Nad/Djok in either situation. That's my opinion as a fellow umpire.
A spit is disgusting but compare to hockey you have 20 guys constantly spitting all over the bench zipping water and spitting it out, it's infinitesimal. That's why so many people contracted Covid in these sports.
