A happy ending that doesn't end with kirby eradicating a cosmic being at an atomic level, instead he just reduced it to a soul that can't even be bothered to fight back.
Star Allies established Morpho Knight as the “wings of judgment” which I believe goes beyond just being a cool name. My theory is that when Morpho Knight consumed Soul Forgo, he considered him worthy of a second chance at life and granted him part of his power transforming him into Chaos Elfilis
it makes me wonder, and it depends on what happens if morpho knight appears in the next kirby game, was the aeon hero (galacta night) judged unworthy hense he didn't form and escape out of morpho knights defeat or was it simply to give the butterfly a body
@@unknownartist7204 there's a trophy saying that forgo just is too tough to leave. It's pure will to live, and that made him use some of the power of every being he's been fused to
I think the reason he is looking for the most powerful creatures is to prepare for “judgement day” as in star Allie’s it states that it will arrive on judgement day
14:26 I think its more that every enemy kirby faces has a soul inside, and its a similar kind of soul, because it is a similar kind of being. Like how Void Termina looks like Kirby, so do these other soul forms. My theory is that Kirby is fighting the same kind of creature every time, a dark matter, essence similar to his own.
I have always think that... My theory is that Kirby and the (let's call it Void to make it easy) are the 2 parts of the same coin (just like Elfilis and Elfilin) and they're both destined to fight each other for ever... Like Kirby is the light and Void is the darkness... And that darkness always comes back as a different demonic creature
My theory is a little more complex, First void or soul is a form that any being that reach the pinacle of Power can obtain since Marx until Chaos Elfilis every soul enemy has similar characteristics they become a líquid substance the more condensed the form is the more that form becomes a ball shaped form It is actualy that being casting off his body like a Shell because of the mass of raw Power It posses, but that mass of Power can completely consume the personality of such a being and become a simple being with only one motivation that drives their actions, and I think that kirby, meta knight and galacta knight they were beings that reached the soul form but that soul form completely consumed their previous personality and reached a new form after the soul form were ALL that Power is condensed and became a body by itself with that simple motivation either tô destróy or to dream, and I think that kirby and meta knight previously had a motivation tô destroy then they started to dream and separated themselves from the motivation of destruction that became, dark matter from kirby and dark mind from meta knight, as for galacta knight he still has the motivation for destruction, but morpho knight he has the capacity to consume any being that IS powerful enough tô become a soul or already passed the soul form and forcefuly transform that being into the bodyfication of the soul that IS above the soul form.
Bassicaly every time the main villain turns into a ball form its confirmed to be either a slice of dark matter or somehow influenced or absorbed dark matter
11:07 Rather than a lion and a butterfly it seems more likely that it's a moth, moths have butterfly wings and manes? mains? neck fluff. and their antenna can take different forms sometimes resembling antlers.
i think Elfilis is Nintendo's take on a chimera. for those who don't know either Greek or Egyptian mythology, a chimera is a monster comprised of multiple parts of different animals the common depiction is a tiger or lion with a goat head attached and a snake for a tail but chimeras are just multiple animals mixed into one. i think that is what Fecto Elfilis is they're a chimera of alien origins.
It's not Nintendo's take on anything. It's HAL's, or, to be even more specific, Shinya Kumazaki's. They are very much a chimera, though, you're right about that.
Chimera, or Hebrew angel mythology? Because the names seems to link toward Angel mythology. Elfilim and Elfilis are very close in name to Mephilim (an half-angel) and Mephilis (a fallen angel) Which both make sense about a (human?) world facing a fallen from the sky calamity giving birth to an half-angel once contained and giving to the people a path to paradise (dream land). I think that while voids and derivates are dreamland gods, Mephilis would more be an angel of the forgotten dimension land.

9:58 I would like to note that Taranza in Star Allies also has this ability, but instead of his soul it's the soul of Sectonia. It's always interesting to see what characters share abilities
Honestly, I think It's just his "spiritual" form taken shape We've seen it in the Leon Forgo fight, we've seen it in Morpho Knight's fight, and now that it's powered up, we see just how powerful it can be.
11:21 The side parts sorta look like Axolotls, a species of salamander with incredible regenerating capabilities. Maybe that’s why Elfilis has a Health Recovering move?
I’m not sure about Elfilis’ origins. Looking at how it was absorbing creatures during that goo phase, maybe it is a natural born creature. Could be a kind of chimera or just an apex life-form from its home planet. It could have absorbed all sorts of creatures, become a perfect life form and then started to bounce around the cosmos looking for more creatures to absorb and corrupt. Could be a test subject from the start. But I’m not sure if that’s necessarily where things began for him.
@@attackcrash0787 interplanetary travel is possible because of this being. I doubt there were humans in space before that. If you suggest there was another race making creatures... It could be possible but I really doubt it. Feels like this is just a naturally born creature to me
Nobody is going to talk about how elflis is extremely reminiscent of Sephiroth? Crashing a giant celestial object into a planet, the whole angel motif, being related to an alien of some kind? Just seems very interesting
14:03 that bouncing attack seems to be something kinda common in this soul bosses, since sectonia's soul also uses that attack and, by the way, chaos elfilis has an attack from sectonia's soul when she seperates in two colors, pink and blue to ''rain'' into kirby, just like chaos elfilis does but with more violence

Theory: I think the Forgotten Land was a human colony world. Likely established when Earth started turning into Shiver Star. Idk what happened to the humans that went to Dream Land, but they must have lived there for enough time because we have Adeline. Maybe the last of the humans. Actually Related Theory: Elfilis wasn’t a lab experiment, he was a cosmic entity. Like Void, Dark Matter, Zero and the like. Beyond that, idk if he’s actually related to that Eldritch family tree. Somehow the humans managed to capture him and then experimented on him. Reducing it to the weird looking MewTwo fetus. When his tormentors abandoned the land he needed someone to make him whole again. Getting Elfilin. After Leongar failed, he made himself a body from him and the Beast Pack. Creating an incomplete mass. He then used his powers with Elfilin returned to him, to change that mass of green goop into his complete body. Kirby destroyed him and he fled into another world. In true Eldritch fashion of his own limited creation, like the Dreamlands. Keeping the soul and body of Leongar. Likely to become his next body. Just as Soul Elfilis was gonna attack, his power was stolen by the Butterfly. And when Morpho Knight was defeated, Elfilis had a kind of blueprint of him that he used to make Morpho Knight EX. Then integrate into his truly final form. When Morpho Knight explodes we see butterflies leave (one likely the main) and the shadow of Forgo teleport away into his dream. Finally becoming Chaos Forgo, he made a last ditch attempt to leave his dream and take back Elfilin. After his soul was defeated, he had nothing left. All he truly wanted was to be whole again. So with the last bit of power he had, he did so, but gave up his own will to Elfilin. Finally at peace. There are clearly more cosmic beings in the Kirby universe beyond those related to Dark Matter. I wonder who will be next. Maybe we’ll get a full on octopus looking one.
I have one. Since Elfilin is now one whole creature again, do you think it would be possible for Elfilin to actually TRANSFORM into and fro Fecto Elfilis while still retaining his good heart and nature?
I doubt it. If anything, Elfilin could potentially have its _own_ transformation if it eventually learnt to control its new abilities - most likely more Angelic (specifically *Cherubic*) in appearance. Such a form would take a long time to hone however, so the only benefit Elfilin has is the Time Difference between the Forgotten Land and Pop Star being much faster on Elfilin's end!
Until it’s proven wrong I believe fecto elfilis is one of the versions of void, here’s why: 1: it’s very powerful, close to if not as strong as void termina 2: void takes on a different form in every dimension but never saids they look alike 3: it has powers in relation to void, in contrast to void which primarily uses the dark element of itself fecto mostly uses the dream element in itself (it is the psychic beast after all and it literally creates a dream world) 4: the theme of fecto (tow planets approach the Roche limit) has notes of void termina’s theme in it (the star conquering traveler) 5: when fecto creates that like weird stuff in the sky in phase 2 it looks like the body of void 6: both follow a similar premise of travel to different worlds to invade and conquer them 7: both were supposedly used as experiments to benefit a race or individual
Okay hear me out, Morpho Knight is a member of kirby's species who was killed and has been reincarnated as a butterfly. One of the distinct characteristics of Chaos Elfilis, a form Elfilis took on by using Morpho's DNA, included a redesigned spear. This new spear features a new 5-pointed yellow star beneath its blade. (It was previously a 6-sided star with Fecto Elfilis.) This star looks very similar to the stars that Kirby uses in his base mode, something we have only seen Kirby use. Morpho Knight is also described as a "Pure being twisted through years of adversity" and seems to have its own sense of honor, as it only feeds on destructive and uncontrollable beings like Glactia Knight and Forgo. My headcannon is that he is a fallen kirby, the former hero of popstar, still fighting evil and consuming gods, just like Kirby does.
Ok, as crazy and out of the blue as that "reincarnated into a butterfly" theory sounds, it does sound pretty cool. I did hear he was referred to as the "Knight of Hades", or "Knight of the Underworld" in an official japanese Kirby novel.
You know, Chaos Elfilis color pallet also remembers a lot Zero 2 since he is all white with red in the wings... EDIT: The thing about the Chaos Elfilis soul repeat attacks from past enemies has been happening a lot since Sectonia Soul. She had Marx's, Drawcia, and D-Mind moves as well, Star Dream Soul also repeat some and also Void itself. Tho its only the Soul bosses who does this so might be a big connection between all and the butterfly. Maybe the Butterfly is the responsable for the Souls keep up to fight?
Ok hear me out When fecto first breaks out of the capsule they immediately turn to goo. The same happens as we are about to face forgo _soul_ but they get absorbed by morpho knight. This leads me to believe that fecto was a soul boss/was made of soul matter all along, especially since the extra boss fight of this game arena is a step further, a "chaos" boss. If fecto was made of soul matter all along, and it was studied and experimented on, those who did probably gained knowledge of soul matter. So let's say that these who studied fecto elfilis are the technological ancients, the ones who crafted the lor starcutter. Like magolor said, those who made the lor also made those clockwork machines, like galacta nova. So those who made those experiments and studies also made the clockwork machines. From one of these machines star dream was made. The link between the lor and the clockwork machines is made even stronger here, as star dream is capable of creating portals as well, as we see during its bossfight, or when he teleports the _clones_ and galacta knight. The clones are also made of goo, and have a similar death animation to chaos elfilis, but that's not it. The Dedede clones need to be defeated multiple times, as they always rise back, kind of like the soul bosses do: defeat the first form, but then rise back. The sectonia clone was made by a petal of the dreamstalk, which after the events of triple deluxe was embued with her soul. But here's one further connection we can make: the phantom bosses. They are born from the memories of the characters that touched the forgotten land, and use their memories as their strength. In the famous miiverse post, it is said that the dark matter clone is capable of using the rainbow sword not because he ever wielded it, but because the part that was cloned of it had memories of that sword, and those were turned into its strength. Memories are also mentioned with the dedede clones, which have bad memories about insects because of the events of triple deluxe. In conclusion: those who studied forgo did not only learn about dimensional rifts, but also how to mess with souls. They are not perfect, but they can now pretty much defy the concept of death. Such power was probably what allowed these ancients to overpower and banish the magical ancients. P.S. another connection that I didn't know where to throw in is that marx can get to his soul form when absorbing the fragments of power of one of the clockwork machines
I think forgo can morpho into goo at will, because of when forgo comes out of Leon, he does start transforming, but doesn't fall to the ground. When morpho arrives, you can see it turning back from goo to regular form. When it is on camera again, you can see it's still tinted cyan and with some weird wavy effect going down through forgo's 3d model On the regular lab discovera, you can also see him start transforming *before* the glass breaks(the eyes becoming white/cyan are the first "signs" of the transformation)
I actually think there might be some influence from the bavarian mythical creature "Wolpertinger". It's most often described as a rabbit with antlers and the wings of a duck, a mix of which could explain the large wing-like ears. The tail and legs could also be explained this way, since other iterations of the creature feature wildly different animals, including wolves, deers and squirrels, wolves or deers for the legs, and squirrels explaining the fluffy tail. Additionally, I think the chest fluff and the whiskers could also just be from the rabbit motive. The squirrel part of the creature could also link to elfilins small, rodent-like design. In terms of actual folklore- there isn't much to take from that could be applied to forgo elfilis. The only real connection there is their link to full moons, apparently only appearing then. You could stretch this out and make a connection with the moon to outer space, though I doubt that would be anything intentional. This creature was pretty much just my first thought when I saw elfilis, but after looking into it a bit, I feel like there might be some partial inspiration, at least design-wise.
When the sphere fecto elfflis bounces eventually landing on stage and making a shockwave reminds me of a move that the inside of the final boss of star alies void termina's inside sphere kirby faced thingy!
Fecto elfilis was supposed to be WEAKER than it actually is, because he was supposed to only absorb elfilin, but he absorbed the obstacle enemies , leongar and finally elfilin, which made him pretty strong
The “whiskers” on the side of chaos elfilins head could be Axolotl because they are the master of regeneration and elfilen has an ability that heals himself
11:26 elfilis/elfilin whole design reminds me of a moth mixed with a chinchilla and an angel. (And elfilin I'm pretty sure IS a butterfly chinchilla thing.)
Now I could even say Chaos Elfilis’s attack with many lasers is reminiscent of that of Master Crown in the new Magolor Epilogue gamemode from Return to Dream Land Deluxe!
12:24 He might just ve a unique now extinct species, I mean, various creatures in dreamland are nothing like actual creatures or resemble a few different creatures, Chaos Elfilis might just be another instance of that.
I think this appearance reminiscent of many animals might just be a reference to the many beasts Fecto Forgo had absorbed prior to the disgusting fight in the hallway! Heck, maybe Fecto Elfilis didn’t even look this way when it first invaded the now forgotten land! (which people keep referring to as Earth and I don’t know why) Maybe it was purer then, resembling its larvae form more, as seen in-game. Even Elfilin looks this way!
I do think the bosses that chaos ellfilis has alot of it's attacks from are magolor, Marx, drawcia, void termina, dark mind, star dream, queen sectonia and dark matter
If Forgo did create Nightmare, then that would mean that the ancients creating the star rod would mean that they would go AGAINST Forgo, and therefore meaning that instead of helping the ancients, Forgo would be against them, so Forgo probably didn’t creat Nightmare.
Ethereal Butterflies are judges of warriors and *eaters of dreams* In most games, where the butterflies appears, it rests on Kirby after final fights. So, the ethereal butterfly eats Kirby's dreams/memories and thus the attacks of past bosses manifest on this fight. It's not Chaos Elfilis being related to Void/Dark matter, but the influence of the butterfly on it's soul. But hey, that's just a theory.
At the moment, my theory is that elfilis is the original owner of the soul moves, and the previous soul bosses, being from a land of dreams, just reflect or imitate it
My theory is that the butterfly took knight form from galacta knight, and he will get more extra abilities every time he absorbs another boss, and maybe after he has absorbed a few more bosses kirby will have to fight him in like a huge bossfight with like 4 phases, and when he is defeated, all of the bosses is absorbed will be free, and you will have to fight them again in future games. (maybe galacta knight will finally become cannon?)
There's another move where Chaos Elfilis will drop multiples of matter projectiles from above which we've seen, this move is from the likes of Soul of Sectonia and other different bosses that feature this move.
I believe that those long things on chaos eflises head are resembling an axolotl, heck he can heal himself with one of his attacks like how an axolotl regenerates
I have a separate theory kinda! The people experimenting on Elfi… escaped into a world of dreams… elfi’s dreams…. Now elfi has ll thses creatures enjoying paradise in his dreamstate while he is stuck in a lab.. alone… its really dark and makes you realize elfi is tragic
I would say that Chaos Elfilis having the combined features of all these kinds of animals may not necessarily mean that it was created as a combination of them. This form is only seen to be taken after consuming numerous creatures from the Beast Pack, and it may not be out of the question that its complete form was been something else before the events of the game. Although it might not be clear what this was, perhaps it began as the gelatinous form that it used to consume other creatures, in a world where Elfilin's species was the predominant one, which would be how they have their elfilin-esque form, and their mind powers, to begin with. It is a possibility that when this creature arrived in the Forgotten Land, it already had consumed a number of creatures to take on what would now be its full form, before it could be captured, which would be how we get where the game starts with it.
The reason why I think they researched for 30 years is because 2022 is Kirby’s 30th Anniversary. So, we can understand that the forgotten land came before Popstar, and what I think is that a mysterious person (or AI) that controls the voice of the tour and the Waddle Dees were viewing it. And then maybe they left to Popstar, then the AI controls itself, and told people who still are in the world. Then, the waddle dees got teleported (and Kirby) into the world again and then gets back about 5 days later? so yee that’s my theory very long wow
There’s a move that fecto efilis uses where it comes down and slides it’s spear across the platform you are standing on and in Kirby star allies void termina uses that move in it’s bird form
10:00 i know that from star allies morpho knight was able to summon beast faces but they specifically had a mallicious smile on their face. that attack kirby just did, did he summon souls of forgo?
I have a feeling that the butterflies of dreamland act as a filter. whenever great battles are fought there is bound to be two sides. One side might be evil and the other is a possible threat and a ally for now. It might explain how dreamland was protected before Kirby and why there doesn't seem to be multiples of powerful species like king dedede as when they get to strong and battle a foreign threat Morpho knight would finish them off. since the timer for Morpho knight seems low after it forms nothing gets left behind all that is left are those that are weak enough to not insight the butterfly.
Today i completed the whole Kirby And The Forgotten Land Game i am Very Proud of Myself at the End i also Mashed Hardly for a few minutes and i was Really tired after completing my Very first 3D Kirby Game 😊
For morpho knight its clear that they aint gust one but also i think that they all have defirent titles:the one that absorbed calacta knight in star alliys wad the title of "reborn butterfly" and the one that got forgo was the "fluttering dream eater"gust a thing i noticed
There is something about morpho knight Being tied to the souls of the departed influence of those dead souls may account for the familiar attacks reminiscent of other bosses
The closest reason to why morpho knight is here that i can even think of is that maybe the butterfly copied galacta knight’s dna and it just needs something else so it can be created whicg might sound random but kirby actually has some really deep lore unlike most nintendo franchises
@@carnage0685 one of the lines mentions how clawroline found elfilin unconscious after closing the vortex before taking him to safety (probably waddle dee town)
yea i noticed that too caos elflis used voids laser attack from the beginning of the void fight where caos elflis sends many lasers across the screen so that’s really cool
Chaos elfilis was born of pure spite and anger from being defeated by Kirby after failing to destroy the world that’s wronged it being able to form thanks to morpho knights power after Kirby destroys the body the soul is still left filled with anger that won’t die so it fights on also I’d assume it’s made from dark matter as well because dark matter in the Kirby world is formed by negative emotions and elfilis being a lab rat can easily lead it to harbor a lot of negative emotions but that’s just what I think
14:01 If I'm not mistaken, Grand Doomer from Kirby's Return to Dreamland also uses this move when you get him down to his final phase (the one you have to kill with the Ultra Sword)
Well, normal fecto elfilis has a move from somone else,it has the fire spear attack from void termina, even if in void it was a sword, tha attack is the same.
I personally subscribe to the belief that All of these powerful beings originate from the Void, and take physical forms dependant on the types of Matter that gravitated towards them. My General Term for these creatures is *'Void Entities'* *Matter* is what I would call the primal cosmic energies of the Multiverse, created from Nothing and spread through the vast expanses of Space by a 'Big Bang' Event. Like the Dust Particles gathered to form the many Planets and Stars in the Universe, these energies also combined in different quantities to form countless Void Entities - some benevolent and kind, some chaotic and destructive, and a lot that fall somewhere in between! Each one is born without any knowledge, yet can have unfathomable power. There seems to be a total of Four Types of Matter, two each of Physical and Spiritual Aspects: *Heart Matter* is the most benign of these four Types, and encompasses the powers of Love, Hope, and Compassion (aka Friendship). Besides being more difficult to access said powers at lower quantities, Heart Matter is what gives a Void Entity a non-amorphous Physical Body; *Dark Matter* is the opposite of this - the desire to Corrupt, Absorb and Assimilate everything into itself, with no consideration for anything. It is the Aspect of Entropy, with an Amorphous Physical Body allowing it to fulfill its goals. In lesser quantities though, this can still be converted back into Heart Matter. Heart and Dark Matter are considered the *Physical Aspects* of Matter, as in a pure state, they are both simplistic, obsessive beings with a one-track mind, and little else keeping the from exhibiting their full Eldritch Power... *Dream Matter* is the Spiritual Aspect that embodies the properties of Logic, Creation, Order and yes, Dreams as well. Void Entities predominantly made of Dream Matter usually seek to bring peace and order to the cosmos, and wield their gifted powers to that end - but abnormally high Levels of Dream Matter makes the being Unstable, and vulnerable to Zealous Beliefs, or Corruption through Trauma. Elfilin and Elfilis is what I would perceive as a Dream Matter Entity; *Soul Matter* is the Spiritual Aspect dominated by the properties of Destruction, Conquest and Extreme Emotions. It is the most Common of the Types of Matter because of how it replicates on its own, and builds up within creatures until they are completely overwhelmed by it, causing their eventual self-destruction if not released early. With Emotion being the primary source of Soul Matter, any other Void Entity can succumb to it with enough buildup, to a point where Dream Matter converts itself into even more Soul Matter! In its purest form, Soul Matter is the Embodiment of Chaos, and the exact opposite of Dream Matter. The key differences between the Physical and Spiritual Aspects of Matter are the facts that Heart and Dark Matter are a Finite Resource that gets recycled as things are destroyed, and that as an Infinite Resource, Dream and Soul Matter can be gathered and imbued into other things. While difficult, Dream Matter _can_ be generated, and was used to power the abilities of Clockwork Stars like Nova and Star Dream. As it constantly replicates on its own within creatures, Soul Matter was a much easier energy source to use for imbuing Weapons and Artifacts of Power. though as energy built up in said objects, their capacity to overwhelm someone not used to the power made them all but uncontrollable, so the objects were sealed away or given to Guardians that would keep them out of incapable hands. In short, the Four Aspects of Matter are relatable to the Primal Forces of Life, Death, Order and Chaos, or the Alignment Grid of Good, Evil, Lawful and Chaotic - however you choose to perceive them, they each exist in minute quantities in all Living Creatures in more equal amounts, making the immense volumes of power in these Void Entities even more terrifying! This is *"Matter Theory",* My own philosophy of how the Lore of Kirby Games works!
Every Soul Boss has similar attacks if not even same attacks. It isn't that deep. It just tells us that what you're fighting is a Soul Boss, the soul/core of someone or something.
You didn’t mention something important in the part about fighting Chaos elfilis’s orb form. In star allies it was revealed the origin of dark matter and any boss that uses the same move set as chaos elfilis, was VOID. This orb form was foreshadowed when Elfilin came out of Elfilis back, he was wrapped in a orb, similar to chaos elfilis’s final form. Which also looks like Void. Void is also called the essence of chaos while Chaos elfilis is born of chaos. This final form has no relation to Morpho knight unlike the previous form, at least till we figure out if there’s a connection between morpho and void.
10:30 Speaking of the design i must remind you that elfilis absorbed like ALL animal species of the beast pack as fecto forgo so it isnt a being like shadow bc elfilis was most likely born as the ultimate lifeform My theory is that the Form of fecto elfilis isnt the same form as when it invaded the forgotten land (the Chaos elfilis figurine desc even confirms this by saying that it absorbed the beasts of the forgotten land) Personaly i think elfilis is also some kinda void termina reincarnation which would explain its rift abilities
The second form of the chaos mode has one similar move either the soul of sectonia the secret boss in Kirby triple deluxe the sun attack so maybe she was made by fecto elfilis
I know this sounds crazy but what if Nightmare was one of the "inhabitants" of FL, probably a scientist that worked where Fecto/Forgo Elfilis resided. Maybe Nightmare actually took INSPIRATION from our big bad of the forgotten land. Would explain his human appearance, lack of connection with Void and perhaps his lack or returns after his game.
It's also worth mentioning that not only are some attacks used by Chaos Elfilis Soul are used by the likes of Dark Mind and Drawcia, these are also moves that Void has been seen using as well. Could be just an interesting throwback, but it's still interesting.
one thing wrong with the experimentation of multiple animal parts: Butterfly and Mouse could be what was experimented, but the other animal parts happened when Fecto forgo turned into chimeric goop and consumed others of the beast pack. Leon, awoofies... it consumed the lot of them before chasing after kirby and consuming Elfilin. those other body parts could be resultant of it taking the dna of the other beast pack and augmenting itself to it's final form. Maybe the reason why it is the ultimate life-form is that it is ever evolving, always adapting. probably similar in nature, aside the beastial form, to kirby! when kirby was sucked through, he seemed to have been affected by the vortex, bulging and shifting into many shapes before landing in the forgotten lands. I don't think kirby ever had something enter his mouth that he couldn't swallow until this happened.
Regarding Elfilis’ soul form, while there could be some lore behind it, mechanically it’s mainly just a staple fight in the Kirby games. A lot of the attacks in that phase (the blades, the bouncing, the paint splatters, the black hole, and even the fireball) were originally used by both Drawcia Soul and Marx Soul. And while Magalor Soul didn’t use these attacks (mainly because he had enough unique attacks already), they returned for the soul fights in the following games. Sectonia, Star Dream, and Void all used at least some form of these attacks in their Soul fights.
Okay, if Morpho Knight's ghosts in Forgotten Land resemble Fecto Forgo, and Devil Kirby in Star Allies, does that mean that Galacta Knight unmasked looks like Devil Kirby?
I hope Morpho Knight is happy with himself, cuz thanks to him he brought something far worse. Hopefully, he won't interfere with another soul boss fight
Chaos Elfilis honestly reminds me of 02. The horns forming a halo-esque shape along with the red/white color scheme and whatnot. The purest form of Void also shares that color scheme.
What about the thing where he drops these goopy projectiles from above, kinda like Marx Soul oe Soul of Sectonia or Drawcia Soul, but yeah, you kinda missed that.
Honestly we can't be sure what exactly Fecto Elfilis/Chaos Elfilis truly is. For all we know, it could be something entirely different outside of a lab rat. However we can say for certain whatever history he had, he's only that of a poor soul fueled with rage for the torment he had.
Would be nice to see nightmare make a comeback and the anime aswell. Infact it was the anime that got me into the whole kirby series in the first place and I’d love to see more seasons to expand on the story
A happy ending that doesn't end with kirby eradicating a cosmic being at an atomic level, instead he just reduced it to a soul that can't even be bothered to fight back.
But I think that's what actually happened to the rest
Ah what a blessing
Yes
That always happens
i got this ending and i was quite confused why i never got the chaos elfilis ending-

Like how Void Termina looks like Kirby, so do these other soul forms. My theory is that Kirby is fighting the same kind of creature every time, a dark matter, essence similar to his own.
Whoa
Souls are souls and that's why they share attacks. They don't need to be dark matter
11:07 Rather than a lion and a butterfly it seems more likely that it's a moth,
moths have butterfly wings and manes? mains? neck fluff. and their antenna can take different forms sometimes resembling antlers.
yes seems more likely than a billion different things
I love how Kirby casually fights beings able to create wormholes, destroy galaxies and warp between dimensions. And he is so chill about it.
i think Elfilis is Nintendo's take on a chimera. for those who don't know either Greek or Egyptian mythology, a chimera is a monster comprised of multiple parts of different animals the common depiction is a tiger or lion with a goat head attached and a snake for a tail but chimeras are just multiple animals mixed into one. i think that is what Fecto Elfilis is they're a chimera of alien origins.
Well the ultimate chimera exits and all the other chimeras from Mother 3 so it would be their second time i guess
It's not Nintendo's take on anything. It's HAL's, or, to be even more specific, Shinya Kumazaki's. They are very much a chimera, though, you're right about that.
Yeah and one of Fecto Forgo's forms is similar to a chimera when they fused with the beast pack
Nintendo didn't do this game
Chimera, or Hebrew angel mythology?
Because the names seems to link toward Angel mythology. Elfilim and Elfilis are very close in name to Mephilim (an half-angel) and Mephilis (a fallen angel)
Which both make sense about a (human?) world facing a fallen from the sky calamity giving birth to an half-angel once contained and giving to the people a path to paradise (dream land).
I think that while voids and derivates are dreamland gods, Mephilis would more be an angel of the forgotten dimension land.
Just when I thought this game wasn't gonna be as heavy as the others in terms of Lore,it started to hit harder than ever
And it’s gonna hit even harder just wait

I’m not sure about Elfilis’ origins. Looking at how it was absorbing creatures during that goo phase, maybe it is a natural born creature. Could be a kind of chimera or just an apex life-form from its home planet. It could have absorbed all sorts of creatures, become a perfect life form and then started to bounce around the cosmos looking for more creatures to absorb and corrupt.
Could be a test subject from the start. But I’m not sure if that’s necessarily where things began for him.
Story says it came to the planet and then they used it. It's not man made
There is a theory that it was one of the 4 heroes of yore
Which would explain why it was attacking the wildlife: it has no interest in the regular civilization and their toys, it wanted more beings to absorb.

So does Marx soul and Drawcia, previous kirby villains. Drawcia is confirmed as sister to someone in triple deluxe.

Interesting theory but there’s so many typos.(chaos forgo is chaos elfilis. The heck is morpho knight EX)

Seems like I'm not the only one who thought of giving Elfilin a battle body. Call it Fecto Elfilin.
@@lianaverwood9810 Probably a cuter version of Elfilis with cuter but also weakened versions of Elfilis' attacks and powers
Until it’s proven wrong I believe fecto elfilis is one of the versions of void, here’s why:
1: it’s very powerful, close to if not as strong as void termina
2: void takes on a different form in every dimension but never saids they look alike
3: it has powers in relation to void, in contrast to void which primarily uses the dark element of itself fecto mostly uses the dream element in itself (it is the psychic beast after all and it literally creates a dream world)
4: the theme of fecto (tow planets approach the Roche limit) has notes of void termina’s theme in it (the star conquering traveler)
5: when fecto creates that like weird stuff in the sky in phase 2 it looks like the body of void
6: both follow a similar premise of travel to different worlds to invade and conquer them
7: both were supposedly used as experiments to benefit a race or individual
Fecto Elfilis is definitely an antagonist who has a lot of mystery behind it
Okay hear me out, Morpho Knight is a member of kirby's species who was killed and has been reincarnated as a butterfly.
So, when he fights kirby, it is really just a test?
So Lucifer Kirby?
Void's scream is "Irohanihoheto", almost like a warning
Then that makes Morpho the true villain!
Or they're a Soul Container- It only seems to attempt to trap destructive creatures but gets controlled by them as they're too powerful
Also- Now I'm interested in the Sectonia Lore- Whose Sectonia?
Wait is that the Dragon? If so, that makes sense Kirby Star Allies before Kirby and The Forgotten Land seems to have a similar moveset and battle.
@@ellienugent2000 Dragon? You refering to Landia?
So how do we think elfilin will affect the series going forward, a "portal opening friend" seems pretty op
Ok hear me out
When fecto first breaks out of the capsule they immediately turn to goo.
When it is on camera again, you can see it's still tinted cyan and with some weird wavy effect going down through forgo's 3d model
On the regular lab discovera, you can also see him start transforming *before* the glass breaks(the eyes becoming white/cyan are the first "signs" of the transformation)
@@photonic083 exactly. What I am saying is that this goo is "soul goo", if it can be called like that (or at least it could be. It's just speculation)
I think the Ball attack that Chaos Elfilis uses is just a reference to Drawcia instead of having canocity, just like with void termina
Love the intro update! Also, it's axolotl ears at 11:19
11:26 elfilis/elfilin whole design reminds me of a moth mixed with a chinchilla and an angel. (And elfilin I'm pretty sure IS a butterfly chinchilla thing.)
What if this "experiment" was made by/ supposed to be one of the ancient heroes
Chaos Elfilis' whiskers look like the whiskers of an axolotl.
Fun Fact: An axolotl is an incredibly powerful entity in the show Gravity Falls.
btw, with morpho knight sword, if you hold the attack button while guarding, you can summon 2 elfilis wisps, that will home in on enemies.
yeah it's shown in the video even
Interesting...
(which people keep referring to as Earth and I don’t know why)
Maybe it was purer then, resembling its larvae form more, as seen in-game. Even Elfilin looks this way!
What I think about those "Whiskers" is that they're actually frills of an axolotl. If you look at both side-by-side, you can see the similarities.
The wiskers remind me of an axolotl! His head shape is so similar to that!
Sn axolotl regenerate any part of it’s body, even it’s brain
That's what I was gonna say, yeah. They're very reminiscent of an Axolot.
Finally someone who mentions it
Axolotls are the best animals
Don't forget morpho knight giant sword phase, also similar to Kirby "return to dream land" Sword power (when he inhale special enemy)
I recognized the bounce move more from Void (the Soul Melter EX One) from Star Allies
I do think the bosses that chaos ellfilis has alot of it's attacks from are magolor, Marx, drawcia, void termina, dark mind, star dream, queen sectonia and dark matter
11:20 those head whiskers look like they came from an axolotl. They're super cute, but also are kind of aquatic lizard things.
If Forgo did create Nightmare, then that would mean that the ancients creating the star rod would mean that they would go AGAINST Forgo, and therefore meaning that instead of helping the ancients, Forgo would be against them, so Forgo probably didn’t creat Nightmare.
Ethereal Butterflies are judges of warriors and *eaters of dreams*
In most games, where the butterflies appears, it rests on Kirby after final fights.
So, the ethereal butterfly eats Kirby's dreams/memories and thus the attacks of past bosses manifest on this fight.
It's not Chaos Elfilis being related to Void/Dark matter, but the influence of the butterfly on it's soul.
But hey, that's just a theory.
I feel bad for fecto because he keeps on hearing the voices of when they enter lab discovera.
I think the mane looks more like the fluffy "collar" on fuzzy moths.
Edit: the frills on the side of his head remind me of axolotl gills
Oh boy, here comes some more Kirby lore.
To me, Elfilis kind of looked like a moth with that kind of tail
Interestng idea !
11:22
An axelotl also has these things coming from the side of its head, so maybe axelotl?
The creature you're thinking of with stuff coming out of its head is likely an Axolotl
11:22 Axolotl
11:28 possibly a axolotl
I actually think that the butterfly gave forgo one last chance at revenge by making it more powerful instead of forgo absorbing morpho knight

I personally subscribe to the belief that All of these powerful beings originate from the Void, and take physical forms dependant on the types of Matter that gravitated towards them. My General Term for these creatures is *'Void Entities'*
*Matter* is what I would call the primal cosmic energies of the Multiverse, created from Nothing and spread through the vast expanses of Space by a 'Big Bang' Event.
There seems to be a total of Four Types of Matter, two each of Physical and Spiritual Aspects:
*Heart Matter* is the most benign of these four Types, and encompasses the powers of Love, Hope, and Compassion (aka Friendship). Besides being more difficult to access said powers at lower quantities, Heart Matter is what gives a Void Entity a non-amorphous Physical Body;
*Dark Matter* is the opposite of this - the desire to Corrupt, Absorb and Assimilate everything into itself, with no consideration for anything.
Elfilin and Elfilis is what I would perceive as a Dream Matter Entity;
*Soul Matter* is the Spiritual Aspect dominated by the properties of Destruction, Conquest and Extreme Emotions.

Speaking of the design i must remind you that elfilis absorbed like ALL animal species of the beast pack as fecto forgo so it isnt a being like shadow bc elfilis was most likely born as the ultimate lifeform
My theory is that the Form of fecto elfilis isnt the same form as when it invaded the forgotten land (the Chaos elfilis figurine desc even confirms this by saying that it absorbed the beasts of the forgotten land)
Personaly i think elfilis is also some kinda void termina reincarnation which would explain its rift abilities
love these videos!! keep it up
Forgotten Land BETTER get DLC.
Chaos Elfilis really is a hard boss. But i do enjoy the theory.
The second form of the chaos mode has one similar move either the soul of sectonia the secret boss in Kirby triple deluxe the sun attack so maybe she was made by fecto elfilis
Chaos Elfilis looks exactly like a moth to me actually
11:20 I think that it’s an axolotl, Nin10doland
Wooow nice new intro
I always thought that ID-F86 had a moth-like appearance which kinda made it parallel with the butterfly motifs (i.e. Morpho Knight)
11:44 This part is starting to remind me of Undertale's Amalgamations in the True Lab.
Would be nice to see nightmare make a comeback and the anime aswell. Infact it was the anime that got me into the whole kirby series in the first place and I’d love to see more seasons to expand on the story
Fun fact, Chaos Elfilis’ bouncing move and also the move where it shoots lasers in all directions, both come from void termina
The Chaos Elfilis ball thing reminds me of Void because they both mimic attacks from past bosses.
Those little head frills remind me of an axolotl, but maybe that's not what you were thinking of
