For anyone wondering, no Dan didn’t control Kevin. He sat idly by and watched as Kevin grew ever more knowledgeable and distant.
It's like he was really parenting lol
Honestly, I thought it was chat donations
There was speculation that fyrus was controling kevin but i don't think that was the case
i think its chat donations (little chatty retrofitted)
apparently it was an ai taking info from dan and the chat
I love how he'll occasionally actually react to ingame events like dying and being kissed without Dan mentioning them.
After a while (or probably from the beginning) the AI was learning from chat, so it probably just repeated what people were saying.

Its likely several people, considered the conversation with the female voice. I've seen AIs, this isn't it. I've seen many people controlling one voice to a character they cannot control, this reminds me of it. The only way for an AI to comprehend and understand any of this would be something akin to RimGPT, A mod that adds a narrator based on ChatGPT, however things like this take extreme levels of modding (Even then there is a noticeable delay for the AI to process the limited information) and even then advanced vocal recognition would also be needed. Consider this, Failboat would have on his hands one of the most advanced AIs capable of providing comments based on game and put of game information. I doubt failboat would just, not mention this it'd be in the thumbnail the intro of the video.
tldr; this aint ai anyone who says so clearly has a very vague understanding of where we are in AI development.
I love it when people give life to one entity using an entire twitch chat. It’s kinda like AI in a way. It isn’t it’s own entity in a sense, but the combined identity of multiple human mindscapes clawing at each other to be the speaking voice as they come up with abstract memes and struggle to perform basic functions due to how many inputs want to go so many different directions.

The life story of Kevin.
He was kicked out of his home by his mom, found Kirby. His brothers showed up to support him after being kicked out of the house and were then killed. He gained a taste for blood, questioned his own life, didn't believe in anything, died, questioned his beliefs as an Atheist, was compared to a blue blob with a huge red tounge and got offended so it was murdered. He then found love, got married, died twice, became British, had kids, fell out of love, got a divorce, had the ex wife killed, started sleeping/kissing/flirting around, became american again, got desperate and upset, missed his girlfriend, got a hivemind to be his therapist, let out his baggage, questioned it anyone would go to his funeral if he died and didn't come back, then Died.
All on the same day on his 17th birthday. But at least he's now reunited with his brothers and wife that he regrets leaving.

The animation at the start is something I never saw in a Failboat video before. That is what got me intrigued to watch the whole video. I like that Failboat is putting more effort into his videos with his good video editing and photoshopping skills as well. You should be proud of what you have accomplished, Failboat. The room that killed Kevin is actually possible to get through if Fail just piggyback controlled him, so that means that he could’ve been taken all the way to the end of the game if piggyback controlling was used in the right situations, especially in the stupid crushing rooms.

If Kevin was in fact an Ai I'd like to know how he did this. Getting text is one thing but having it learn in real time and speaking is another. I'd really love to know how it was done.

You know how usually when you pay money to a stream, you can have your message read aloud by a text-to-speech voice so the streamer can hear you? Kevin is those messages. Everything he said was somebody paying to pretend to be him, with Failboat going along with it.
He’s done this before too with Lil’ Chatty, where he has a little character pop up and move their mouth while a chat message plays so viewers can pretend to be a part of the stream.
@@Joswano Lil' Chatty is a different case; it is even in the name that their entire gimmick is that they read superchat donation messages. This has been established in the past.

I absolutely loved watching this live. There were so many small lines which were so funny but didn't even fit in the video. The story arc about Kevin being mad at Failboat for killing his brothers went on for like half an hour at least, and even created my favorite quote from Kevin, "Press B to pay for your sins", which sadly doesn't even show up once in the video.
