    Intrigued by MJ's thoughts on ANT? Don't miss what Bird said about Jokic in our latest video: th-cam.com/video/KVSrMTgV598/w-d-xo.html

    He's gotta start dropping more points consistently. In the modern day ball you're never gonna measure up if you're consistently under 30 points every night

      True, he's nowhere near Jordan in terms of PPG. But don't you think he would average more on a worst team? They've got a ton of other scoring options. Put Ant on the Pistons and watch him average 35 😂

      You think the Wolves are coming back from that 0-2 deficit?

    Hes great and going to be better. I don't expect him to get a ring for another 2 years at least maybe 3-4.

      Conference finals is still a good start for Ant, I think it'll take him a few years too to really be at that level (that he's still clearly not right now). He said it himself, he'll be the best player in the league in 2 to 3 years.

    I'd take Luka any day over AE.

    • @Sportivations
      @Sportivations  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, AE is way more explosive and a better perimeter defender, but Luka is better is all other aspects of the game.

    Edwards was gased trying to guard Kyrie Irving. Jordan had way more finesse!

      To be fair, that's only his real first playoff run. Give the kid some time and he'll come back better. But I agree that Kyrie gave him hell lol

    How does a younger player experience more "fatigue " than everyone else playing? Dallas exposed him.

      Well, he never played that long in the postseason before. That's almost 100 games. And we all know Ant's diet isn't the best 😂

    The college comparisons, as much as they are good to talk about and to generate interesting discussion. You have to admit they are kinda unfair. It is a known expression that "the only person to keep Michael Jordan until 20pts a game was Dene Smith" 🤣 MJ wasn't allowed go off in college because Dene Smith had a system MJ had to play within. It won him a championship so it was worth it but it did reduce what his overall numbers could/would have been.

    • @Sportivations
      @Sportivations  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's never really fair to compare eras anyway. Do you think MJ would've thrived even more if he played for a coach like, let's say Pop? Who would maybe reduce his numbers and usage rate, but for the better of the team?

    • @murphybegood
      @murphybegood 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Sportivations Yeah thats my thinking. MJ was part of a system at North Carolina and won an NCAA Championship.
      He was spectacular as a rookie in the NBA but didn't win until Phil, Tex and the triangle offensive system.
      People always say Pippen was the reason and then everything clicked however, Phil and Tex took that same system to LA and won 3 more championships with Shaq and & Kobe. When MJ retired Pippen was in his early 30's so he was hardly "old" but he was never as successful despite playing with other star players.
      My very belaboured point 😂 is that coaching and systems matter more than the media give it credit for.
      The thoughts of Jordan as a rookie with a coach like Pop.......thats a frightening thought 😂🤣 MJ with the same skill set but a coach that can create more space and better opportunities for him. #Goodnight

    I dunno. He moves more like Dwayne Wade than MJ. And he's shooting better than either of them at age 22.

      I honestly think the comparisons come as much from Ant's competitiveness as much as his game. He wants all the smoke, when he loses he doesn't make excuses he holds his hands up and goes again. NO QUIT. MAMBA type shit.
      Tha\ts what I believe makes Ant special. In an era when players buddying up more than ever Ant is out there declaring I am the best and I am gonna take it from you.
      He might not get it this year or next year but Ant Edwards is coming and he will win a championship, no doubt about it at all.
