That would be SO interesting to see Jordan in today's game. How many points will he average? Imagine him on a small ball, 5-out team in today's game. I think he could average a 40pt triple double, or at least close to Luka's numbers this year!

@Sportivations Absolutely, and with the way the game is called now, he would avg 20-25 free-throws a game. He would be even more unstoppable in today's game, and they couldn't even stop him back then.

Anybody who is saying that Anthony Edwards isn't like Mike, didn't grow up watching Mike! Of course his achievments aren't there yet but the way he plays and talent is! Killer instinct, nobody stopping him one on one, can shoot the three, defend, dunk on anybody, mid range game, fake outs with great foot work, work ethic and not intimidated by other greats! Let him win a ring and watch the same people back track their statement! For the record I'm Bulls fan and a big Jordan fan! Been one since 85! So I don't want to hear no hoop-la! To seal the deal, even Mike said and several other professional Basketball players feel the same. I actually feel his closer to MJ than Kobe was by how he looks when he plays! Ant got the same explosive game Jordan did!

I agree, their game are very similar though Edwards is a much better 3pt shooter (though I guess that MJ would've had developed a better 3pt shot and shot more 3s if he played in our era)
Kobe and MJ's game are actually pretty similar too (since Kobe modeled his game after Jordan) but I get your point, Kobe did not have the huge hands or broad shoulders and was never THE athletic freak like the two of them.

It's not good to compare him with MJ - everything is different today than in MJ's time. MJ is a legend of that time - and whether he would still dominate and stand out today is a million dollar question.
What makes A. Edwards different from the others today is its competitive spirit, desire to win and combativeness. To all that, you should also add that he plays beautifully, smartly and has a solid shot - and these are all winning combinations.
But not everything depends on him - whether they will be champions: that is a team question. I think they are playing well and have great chances.
There are plenty of players who are at his level, but what sets him apart from the rest is his competitive spirit and desire to win - that's what makes him recognizable.

Who's a better player Anthony Edwards or Ja Morrant based on better handles, better dunks, better shooter, more assists, better defense, and makes his teammates better?

Ultimately, the better player may depend on what qualities you value most in a basketball player. Both are incredible talents who bring a lot to their teams.

@@dwill95Jordan wasn't 6'4 or 6'5. When he stood next to the X-man (listed at 6'7) he looked like maybe a hair shorter, if he was at all shorter. Mike was at least 6'6.

Players used to be measured with shoes on, they're now measured barefoot. Please check the link below:

This one was even before the draft, they look about the same height. Plus, Ant reportedly grew another 2 inches since being drafted (that's what his coach said)
You can check what Pat Riley said about MJ's being measured at the olympics here:

MJ is a millenial talent. You wont see his like for 2,000 years. Michael Jordan peaked out what Man can achieve. Tell me another 6'6 1/12 inch player has a 49 inch vertical and can run a 4.3 40? Isn't a person on the planet that can do that. Jordan is the most athletic human of all time.

LeFraud can only jump with 1 foot, he has 0 real skills besides shoving his shoulder to the opponent chest. Peak MJ 86 to 93 was an alian, most athletic creature for the last 500 years.

He didnt say that! And its not the same thing, just stop it. MJ knows "a bit" about basketball, so what he did was to pass the idea that Ant was realy very good, begore most people reaoy seeing Ant like that. But of course, he is not better than Mike...and still has to proove and win a lot to reach the level of the all time greats
