Thanks. You thoroughly answered many more questions than I had :) You mentioned Magicsculpt sands easier than plastic.. Do you have a recommendation for a putty that is actually more like plastic? Aiming for slippery or better friction/wear resistance ..when applied to metal eyelets that have bare wire running through them..
Apoxie tends to not stick to anything I put it on. Essentially the “ white “ apoxie. The black is alright . The super white even better. but I found using lotion (body butter) with either apoxie or MS has helped me mitigate all the residue and detail. It’s perfect but I have the most problem with armature breaking off. I’ve used paper clip and surprisingly that has lasted longer than the thick aluminum.
Thanks for addressing the oxidation and remedies, I’ve “inherited” some magic sculpt of questionable age at work and I look for to trying some of your tips! when you mentioned adding filler to keep the weight of the final sculpture down , what would you use to do that? Thanks for the video, i look forward to checking out some of your other videos.
So sad that the only "magic sculpt" that is available in Sweden is the one from green stuff world, which is 200g, really wanna try it since im not super happy with Apoxie sculpt.
