Also Appaloosas physically have a smaller brain than any other horse breed.

My friend, years ago, bought a Dutch Warmblood, right from Holland I believe. They actually went there then had horse shipped here in Long Island when he was about 2 years old. "Cookie", was a male Warmblood just a picture of beautiful muscle. They paid the equivalent of a house, lol. Good to be WEALTHY!!! I would wear a ponytail and baseball cap when I would go to barn. Whenever I went over to see him, he would love to munch on my ponytail!!😂
This video is so wrong it's almost funny. The price of thoroughbreds varies so much that it's impossible to rank like this. You can get one off the track for dirt cheap or pay millions for an established racehorse or well bred yearling. My horse was $2000 straight off the track.
The price thing is pretty inaccurate. Most of the breeds listed can be found for pretty inexpensive, even with good bloodlines. Heck, off track tbs can be adopted through New Vocations from $1k-2k from well known bloodlines.

@@arron- Depends on the Arabian. Straight Egyptian there are only 6,000 worldwise, Asil strains such as an Iranian strain (the name eludes me at the moment), there are only about 70 left, and they are priceless.

The most expensive horses are horses who have won big shows or races. Usually thoroughbreds and warmbloods (and there are plenty of different warmblood breeds). There are specific bloodlines and offspring of specific stallions that are more expensive than others. There are also plenty of horses within the same breed who are dirt cheap. Whether it’s a million dollar horses or a couple thousand dollar horse depends mostly on what competition the horse (or if it’s young their direct relatives) have won. Nobody pays a lot of money for a horse because it’s a specific breed, specific bloodline sometimes, but there’s a big difference
In Europe, yes. In the USA those are fairly rare breeds because of the cost to ship across the Atlantic ocean. In the reverse, getting an American mustang in the USA isn't expensive, but to ship across the ocean to Europe would cost several thousand dollars.

Ive had Appaloosas for 20 years ... and know the prices fluctuate greatly -- anywhere from 1000 to 10,000. It depends on the breeding, bloodline, etc. And i dare say the same thing applies to all of the breeds. You cant say "this breed is worth this much" -- period.

The "Gypsey Vanner, is one of the most MAGNIFICENT CREATURE'S, I have ever laid my eye's on. I was kind of shocked that PALOMINO'S, weren't included in the most expensive or at least one of the most popular and gentle riding horses. When they go into a gallop, it makes you think your floating on the air. Btw, they're also blonde's, which, as you know, Blonde's have more fun!!! Lol!!! My Palomino was named Rocky, and I truly miss him so very much!!! He was one of mine and my twin sister's riding horses when we were growing up. That was 40 year's ago. Some of them aren’t that expensive compared to horses I have seen. Also pronounce Appaloosa correctly, and I have seen a appy for $200 but I have also seen some up to $9000. It’s not the breed it’s how they are trained, what there attitude is like and other things that aren’t related to the breed.
Some of the price info here is ridiculous. You can adopt a mustang from the BLM for a couple hundred bucks. They have thousands in holding facilities and can't find enough people to take them. For thoroughbreds, while a young racing prospect may have a high price, you can get one retired from the track for very little.

I was kind of shocked that PALOMINO'S, weren't included in the most expensive or at least one of the most popular and gentle riding horses. When they go into a gallop, it makes you think your floating on the air. Btw, they're also blonde's, which, as you know, Blonde's have more fun!!! Lol!!! My Palomino was named Rocky, and I truly miss him so very much!!! He was one of mine and my twin sister's riding horses when we were growing up. That was 40 year's ago. It was awesome having horses cow's dog's and cat's too. I miss those day's, even now. Thank you for sharing your story with us. ❤💋

Some of them aren’t that expensive compared to horses I have seen. Also pronounce Appaloosa correctly, and I have seen a appy for $200 but I have also seen some up to $9000. It’s not the breed it’s how they are trained, what there attitude is like and other things that aren’t related to the breed.

Some of the price info here is ridiculous. You can adopt a mustang from the BLM for a couple hundred bucks. They have thousands in holding facilities and can't find enough people to take them. For thoroughbreds, while a young racing prospect may have a high price, you can get one retired from the track for very little.
