Gallus: A Paladin (in reference to his Royal Guard position in The Last Problem)
Sandbar could...probably be the Bard or an Archer like Discord

I know it's a small thing, but I was really happy that they used the name Oubliettes and Ogres from the comics. I kinda wish Shining Armor was there too, though. It would've been a fine nod to the comics and a way to give Shining Armor a bit more personality. Oh, well. Can't have everything. :P
Either way, it was a very entertaining episode!
Maybe Spike and Shinning used to play it back when Twilight still lived in Canterlot, and Spike introduced the game to Big Mac?
I think Shining was a bit...busy at that moment. Can't always leave an empire to protect itself.
I wonder that Twilight didn't make a mention recognizing 'high fantasy' games on sight. The canon of the game existing is unchanged but who played it might be different.

I think the reason this episode took so long to put out was that they were refining it to a tee.
The only thing missing was Shining Armor.
See, here's the funny thing; if I were a Ponyville pony, I probably would have wanted to make friends with Discord a long time ago for pretty much this exact reason! With his chaos magic, hanging out with him could pretty much amount to just about anything you felt like doing. Bringing my D&D games to life would just be one of the awesome things that could happen.
And I'm kinda surprised the ponies themselves haven't thought of it. If you're like Twilight, you could actually explore history or be in the books you enjoy. If you're like Rarity, you could come up with outlandish outfits and fashion with the snap of a claw. If you're like Pinkie, you could have anti-gravity parties where you combine pin-the-tail-on-the-pony combined with a game of tag and your drinks could be a different flavor every time you take a sip.
There's so much wasted potential!
...On the other hand, that does raise a certain question. Would I be making friends with Discord to actually be friends, or just for my own gain? I'd like to think that at the very least, we could be actual friends and I could be the one person Discord can actually let loose and use his magic however he wants without any real complaint (unless he goes too far). But on the other hand, there'd be the question of how much you could do for him in return. After all, aside from the friendship he wants, what else would you be contributing?
I have found my new favourite episode of this season on top of A Hearth's Warming Tail ^^ The interactions between Discord, Spike and Big Mac were entertaining, the comedy and animation were top notch, the ending with Pinkie and Rainbow was brilliant and the lesson was relatable ^^ I hope we get a follow up to this in the future ^^ I give this the full 10/10 ^^

Yup does that. Eeyup is an extension of yup, so adding another syllable for the sake of accuracy doesn't roll off the tongue as well. It's not like we can't tell what both phrases are.
This episode was hilarious. When Discord made his big entrance at Twilight's castle with the little Discord and all, it reminded me of an old Looney Tunes short. And the zoot suit and club were like a combination of The Mask and Casablanca. I saw the lesson as, if somebody invites you to hang out, you can't just take over and do everything your way, especially since your a guest.
Discord is pretty much just like "The Mask"! Of course he likes jazz and Zoot suites!
Earlier this morning, I said "Where's that SpongeBob Rainbow Imagination meme?" when I saw that scene with Spike. Thanks for finding it, Dr. Wolf!
I have two things to say about this episode, firstly, Google 'friendship is dragons' it's an online comic based entirely on this kind of idea. ANYONE that loves D&D like I do will loooove this comic series.
Secondly, as an avid and long term D&D player, the characters you make aren't always extensions of your desires or self mental images Doc, while these examples might be base relation to their counterparts, I dislike the assumption that every character of such is wish fulfillment or self envisioning. Remember, absolutes are bad.
So much this, most of the time it's just "Oh that looks cool!" that's the whole reason my favorite class is Magus (I play Pathfinder not D&D) It's got nothing to do with any deep desire, I just really really freaking love "Mage Knight" types who can kick ass in martial combat, and burn things to ash with magic at the same time.
As said, so much this. I'm personally not fond of D&D or any variant thereof (Including Pathfinder, which started as an improved version of D&D 3.5), but still, different people play differently. Some play always themselves in one way or another, some keep on varying themselves by being a different race (or species) or by varying the profession or class they play as. Some push themselves by playing a character with a different mentality frequently, while some always keep to one type of character and class, and this do not necessarily have to be their ideal, they just like to play as that character a lot. (And this is even before we add Min-Maxing and Munchkinism.) ^_^
I'd say there is a little of both involved with each character I create.
At least in some part each character is an experiment in bringing some aspect of my own personality to the table even if it is something as minor as channeling my old goth persona into a Dread Necromancer, or as high concept as philosophical ideals with my Chaos Sorcerer/wild mage builds.
That's not to say that all of my characters are just simple wish fulfillment either, as I often find myself playing a role that the group needed rather then What I wanted. Though truth be told I often find that to suck the fun out the game rather quickly...Unless I find some way to add a twist to character concept.
I wonder what Ogres would look like since nothing in MLP resembles a human. Probably something shaped like a green Minotaur with a club.
Good question. But then again, it might actually look like a huge human. Perhaps it would be an oversized gorilla? "Humans" might be a mythical being in Equestria.

I found the instant joining of the game by Pinkie and Rainbow Dash to be the most smile inducing part of the entire episode. Although due to personal experiences with friends who never really wanted to do the things I have had interest in, or actively attacked the off things I may like, I found Discord's initial behaviors a bit uncomfortable. The episode was a wonderful episode, don't get me wrong, it just rubbed old wounds and forced me to take breaks so that I was taking it in small doses. I would jump on a game with Spike and Big Mac in a heartbeat though, that looked like so much fun.
Personal issue with it was they where doing a book dungeon instead of having a dm, but guess thats personal preference
Jckfrbn I've played GM generated dungeons and book dungeons, the books were much better in their lay out and far better balanced. Every last GM I have had creating their own dungeons always had something they felt they needed to prove to either an individual player or the group and tossed any idea of a structured adventure that made any lick of sense right out the window.
Raust Shieldra Like I said personal preference, every book dungeon Ive ever played in pathfinder felt bland and simular. But I played with 40 somethings when i was 12 with my stepdad. So Im pretty bias :D
Any DM/GM needs experience to get good at making adventures. 40-year-olds have usually had that experience. Teenagers usually don't. Those between varies in skill.
with Discord in that Zoot Suit and the Jazz music it remind of The Mask with Jim Carrey from the 90's
I love how powerful discord is. He could literally kill all of equestria if he wanted to but he chooses to use his incredibly strong and unlimited magic power on things he thinks is fun. I've always had a soft spot for those mischievous characters that are actually the strongest but choose not to use it in that way.
Spike's thinly veiled Rarity reference reminded me of something I'd been wondering about: do all of the mane 6 have dolls of themselves in Equestria? I could see that they might, along with the other Princesses, Daring Do, and other notables, and even Discord had lamps in his likeness. If not, wouldn't make Spike's Rarity plushie pretty creepy?

One of the first things I thought of when I saw this episode was a Star Trek: TNG episode where Q sends the Enterprise crew into the world a Robin Hood. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the writers had that episode in mind when writing this episode. It creates another good Discord/Q parallel.

Yes, _OnO_ is now canon to the show. Now we just need to have Armour and his old friends popping in for a game with Twi and Spike.

that episode looks fun, even Discord look like The Mask and the character from The Lord of the Rings, but one thing is Discord giving a Wolf(not a pun) whistle at the banana mare, he even impersonates Celestia, I give this episode, 10 Super Mushrooms out of 10, a big huzzah!

I didn't know about this episode until I actually watched it, so I didn't have any expectations. When I did watch it, I was laughing through the rest of the episode once the game was introduced. I laughed so hard that my cheeks are flushed and my stomach hurts. This episode was the best they've had in a long time!
I was surprised that Spike wasn't playing a knight and Big Mac a mage, but I guess you make a good point. We know they often get sidelined when the mane 6 get to be the heros, so it's quite possible that they themself would like more action. One thing that I've also noticed is that since DnD (or OnO in this case) is heavy on talking, so it backs up what I've said about Big Mac - he does talk, but only when he needs to.

I only recently started watching the show right as new episodes come out. I used to only "watch" the show through Josh Scorchers', Silver Quills and your reviews. This was my first 'Discord-episode' that I managed to see in full without someone wittily-commentating over clips of it. That being said, I'm really glad I saw this episode. The animation was quite good, as usual, and I especially got a kick out of Discord's 'grand entrance' scene. There *_is_* something I found interesting here, however. Apparently Discord can just turn ponies into other races? He turned Big Mac into a unicorn, so if he wanted to, could he just snap his fingers and turn everyone in Equestria into alicorns? That would be an interesting power to see return in the future.
This reminds me of the Gravity Falls episode of a similar nature. "Dungeons and Dungeons" I believe it's called.
The episode I was looking forward to the most since the second half of the season was announced did not disappoint. We got a Discord episode with a new combo to the mix featuring him, Spike, and Big Mac (the Male 3?). So many laughs from their not so secret guy's night to Spiktopia, Smarity, and the Squizard. The way these three interacted was hilarious and I hope to see more from them in the future. I also wonder if their day trading goofball cards in the cutie map episode was a cover for this or if they change their activities between each guys night.
When I saw the scene where they were getting on the train I picture the only thing running through Big Mac's head being "Yes, go, shoo shoo on the choo choo, there is fun to be had and we are wasting time!!"
I have to say, this was a fun episode. One of the things that made my day is that it took a break from the main six and focus on the male characters in their lives. The concept and ending of the episode was a fun little nod to real life.I would love to see more episodes focus on the game, but as a breather episode. As in an episode that isn't a slice of life or a world building adventure episode, but an episode just for the fun of it. As in a more down to earth episode that shows the daily life of the characters that does lead to an adventure or life lesson plot. So if the staff do make an episode that is just the characters having fun, the game is right know the best way to show it.
This was a much better Discord episode than his previous ones in my opinion. And the fact that he turned part of the Friendship Castle into an actual tabletop game scene means that he can use this as an outlet for spreading his own divine chaos. Imagine if he was the Game Master for instance. Not only could he use his chaotic powers as freely as he wants- controlling a game where no such story plot existed- but could take delight in having the fun he's always craved.

The episode itself was very entertaining, but one thing I liked was the breakthroughs in Discord's reformation, things like his first apology, and the first time others actually requested that he perform an act of chaos.
dr. wolf first i just want to say very big fan of you and the other oc cast love watching the reviews you guys do. this is actually one of my favorite episodes as we get to see discord,spike and big mac in a whole new light as most episodes don't really focuse on them much less put them togther. i remember there was a questionaire on one of the mlp fb pages asking fans for ideas on episodes for this season and i wrote down that i thought it would be cool if they did an episode that had spike and discord in it togther though my idea didn't feature big mac and was more about solving a magic problem that spike caused by accident trying to make himself older. i do love this episode cause as you said it does focus on spike and big mac having to learn patience with discord as he still new to how friendship works and getting along with other outside if fluttershy. At the same time it also shows discord realizing that he isn't always going to be the center of attention and not always going to get his way. Think the my favorite parts in this episode is when spike finally calls at discord on his crap and tells him that they only invited him cause they felt sorry for him which made discord look like he got slapped in the face by reality. In his mind dicord believes himslef to be the best thing in creation and all should be happy to just know him (cool) so to have somepony like spike and big mac give him a reality check and put in him back in his place was nice to see. Simple put this would be the bully jock who thinks he is cool be told off by the geeks and shown that he is not which makes him change his tune. It was awesome to me because of how embarrassed he felt and ashamed and the whole experience made him a little more humble and when he aplogized about it and took a sec to look it over he realized what he thought was silly actually sounded intergeing. As for spike and big mac seeing how they reacted after discord left was a very nice touch as they learned they needed to have patience with someone like discord and maybe if they had explained the game differently maybe discord would have be more into it. also it just didn't feel the same without him there.i can relate to that. im getting older so somethings don't hold the same appeal to me like videogames. Im a gamer through and through but unless its a new game or something i enjoy like kingdom hearts i can't sit there and play for hours on end anymore since i play online or multilayer games with my friends. Ever since then games get boring and feel lonely to me without them so i dont feel like playing. so for them to call him back to play was really sweet and very nice to see. especially loved hiw rainbow and pinkie joined in later lol that me laugh and smile and i loved how pinkie was a gypsy and rainbow was a nightingale from skyrim while discord was dressed up as legoles from lord of the rings. Im sure spike and big mac where dressed up as something to but im not sure what characters. i no the show will probably never do this again but i do hope they make a mention of it later like disord showing up with some kind of message to twilight then before leaving asking spike if they were still on for O&O that weekend.All in all great episode.
I enjoyed this episode so much!! I had to chuckle every time Discord went "I'm listening" and was doing something that showed that he clearly wasn't. But then I laughed the hardest when he walked into getting his role playing name "Captain Wuzz" and when Spike was setting up the scenarios in the game where he was getting laughed at every time! XD
Every time I see BigMac with a horn and magic I think that it could be a Segway into a very good future episode based off of being happy with who you are and/or wanting to change and not being happy with who you are. I don't know if this will ever be a thing but it could a very good episode and I hope the writers do use this setup for an episode someday
This probably means nothing, or is just a coincidence, but did anyone else notice which of the chairs the guys chose to sit in? I did, Spike sat in the chair of Kindness, Big Mac, Loyalty, and Discord, Generosity.... I wonder if there will be more on that in a future episode... Or maybe it just slightly told us how each of the characters would act out eventually in this episode, which makes sense... Spike was kind to offer "Guy Time" to Discord, Big Mac stuck with the ordeal to the very end, and Discord, (after he learned his lesson), decided to use his powers to make "Guy's Time" worth while, when he toned it down a bit....

We need more episodes like this and Saddle Row Review. Episodes like these are what drew me into MLP in the first place. Also; I knew I'd find an "Imagination" joke of Sponge Bob somewhere as soon as Spike did that. I called it. XD

I think Spike and Big Mac's affinity toward this fantasy role-playing game shows their hidden desire or even fascination with being heroes, fighting to save the day, etc. Looking back over the series, the Mane Six embarked on so many journeys while Spike and Big Mac were either left at home or, in Spike's case, sat by the sidelines to watch (not including his saving the Crystal Empire...twice). We've even seen an episode last season on Big Mac's desire to be as much of an awesome role model to Apple Bloom as Apple Jack is to her. It's no surprise when we see these two very characters interacting in miniature adventures and quests, fulfilling, at least in part I hope, that exciting and enticing prospect of being heroes and defying the unthinkable! It's endearing, really.
It's simple story filled with excellent comedic references. Just like Three's a Crowd.
I think my favorite part to take away from this episode was Fluttershy's absolutely perfect unimpressed raised eyebrow. I was very lucky to find a .gif of it. ^^

Nerd Table games in my mind when I saw the episode! Discord tried to put Spike and Big Mac's imagination in real life as I see it and it was pretty fun to watch! :)
At first it would seem strange for Spike and Big Mac to play an adventure role game, but when you look around this world a lot of people play first shooter game. Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, and Brothers in Arms just to name a few. War games in a world were war is in the news every day. When you think about it, adventuring is a safe space is what we all do is some way. Be it reading, video games, or even making art. I sure Doctor Wolf never dream of the adventure he was getting himself into when he made is first TH-cam video. ONWARD TO GLORY I SAY! ;)

This episode is no "Make new friends but keep Discord", but I was laughing hysterically throughout the whole thing XD . Thank Celestia for Discord, such a god damn funny character XD XD XD XD XD

Well, we finally have an official Spike and Discord-centered episode. But Spike needs an episode shared with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and maybe Pinkie Pie for all the Spike Duo combinations of Spotlight Episodes with the Mane 6 to be completed.
Hey, Dr Wolf.
I don't care much for labels, but if there are two I do carry with pride they are 1) brony (the more recent of the two), and 2) RPG gamer. Yeah, I've been a D&D geek for most of my life. Like you said, I've been anticipating this episode by virtue of its title alone for a while... and I was not disappointed. First off the whole D&D tie-in was great, and does open up so many possibilities. Second off, I am a Star Trek TNG fan and always loved John de Lancie's Q, so just the mention of Discord is a foolproof hook for me. Finally, and what sticks out most to me, is the friendship between Spike and Big Mac. In earlier episodes they hinted at the two hanging out, talking about hoofball, but this was the first real interaction we've really seen between them. And boy oh boy, was it just pure gold.
I did enjoy seeing Spike take on the role of DM, as well as a wizard character- very telling of his role as Twilight's assistant. As a dungeon master myself, I can attest to the thrill of creating your own adventures and sitting back and watching your players rise to the challenge. Few thing are quite as satisfying. And I think watching my own world and characters come to life would be a dream come true.

As someone who plays DnD fairly often, I can gleam a lot about how a person thinks by their class. Pair that with, as you mentioned, the things we know about these three (five, I'll get to Pinkie and Dash too) I can tell you about how they think.
Spike- Always wants to be a hero, to be there to rescue people, but this would pair with the "Cleric" class, he is, instead, playing a Wizard, who use magic in a variety of ways to be prepared for different situations. Spike actually thinks ahead in OnO and could attribute that to the real world too. Paying attention and putting his understanding of things to it's best work.
Big Mac- Previously we've seen Mac in a variety of different situations, but always he dreams himself to be more important than he feels he is. Meanwhile, he's a "Warrior" run in and care narrey for the consequences, Mac put his best hoof forward, and picked a straightforward class, one where being powerful and making the right decisions (and getting lucky, natural 1 amairite?) gets you the win. Put simply, Big Mac wants to be more important than just the "muscle" around the Apple family farm, but knows he doesn't really have a choice of leaving the work to his sisters. He seems very pessimistic.
Discord- "Archer" we know plenty about Discord, and we know he loves pranks, jokes, gags, witticisms, and chaos, but fears being alone. As for his class, he was given the archer by Spike, a simple class, but one that is designed to have their way with the battlefield, picking which targets to focus on given the situation at hand.
Now for the "impromptu" additions.
Pinkie- Sadly, I'm pretty sure she's a "Minstrel" or an older take on the "Bard" class, their role is to cheer people up, and cheer them on, giving them more umph, pretty much....what...she does...on a daily basis. Not much here, I guess you could say that she's REALLY straightforward.
Dash- The "Thief" she likes manipulating things into her favor, pretty much, her class lets the negative personality traits that Dash has become something useful to the team.
First off; as a former D&D player from my High School years. This episode, like the Gravity Falls episode with the same theme, really appealed to me.
Second; during the ending, I kept screaming "I WANNA PLAY TOO" when Pinkie and Rainbow jumped in. My character would be a quick-footed and cunning warrior with a chakram as his weapon of choice.
Finally; I'm not sure if you've played the game yourself, Doc. But because of your wisdom and calm demeanor.

I thought that Discord was going to be really excited, and knew everything about the game, but he didn't want them (Big Mack and Spike) to know and think he was a nerd. So instead of telling them he would try to do something else.
Even in Season 6 Discord is still not perfect at friendship, and that is what really makes him 3-Dimensional, that he is still learning other aspects of friendship.
I agree that this was a great episode. Heck it made me laugh before the 2 minute mark when I was grumpy and sad. Now that is amazing to pull of by me when I'm in a bad mood.
The only thing that came to my mind after seeing what Spike and Bic Mac like to play, I only thought "Redundancy".
It makes sense that such a game would exist in Equestria. This world has military games and many military and spy novels, for people who are interested in the subjects, but only in a vicarious fashion. I dare say there are many more people who would play a board game or computer simulation rather than engage in the real thing. So, why wouldn't ponies have games where they could undertake adventures against monsters rather than actually go out and risk it? What would have been surprising is if they were playing a high tech game like Shadowrun (which has magic) or a hard science (more or less) game like Traveler or the none magical d20 worlds.
I would like to have seen another couple of ponies playing the game, but I understand why they limited it to two. More players would be more realistic, but the dynamics would have become too cumbersome, and most other ponies probably would have split as soon as Discord showed up anyway.
I think its the second time the show took inspiration from the comics, the same issue actually as in the season 5 episode The One Where Pinkie Knows, it made reference that Shining Armor was kind of a geek in the way Twilight prepared his room.
I loved this episode discord antics were funny, my roommate is going to teach me dungeons and dragons and watching this makes want to play it or even any role-playing games. this episode is my favorite discord theme episode ever
Heh, I forgot tonight was that episode! Just spent the last few hours on D&D session with some friends. I like how magic and stuff plays into Big Mac's character. Whilst it looks like he really wants it, it looks like from what was in this episode as more of a short cut. Bucking apples would be easier if all you needed was a swish of your horn. Mac seems like a lazy but hard-working guy when he has to be.
yeah the title caught my eyes as well. something about doing with dungeons and dragons. after all it was entertaining. really like it. something different instead getting more episodes with the mane 6. again spike with Big Mac and Discord. discord being mad, spike invited discord play a game with them not let discord be alone. I didn't play Dungeons and Dragons my young brother did back in high school used to stay after school played in the library even Yugioh Cards too. Goodtimes. Great Review Doc.
And I was expecting most the reviewers use that moment when spike says imagination but replace spike's way of saying imagination with SpongeBob saying it instead. So far you're the first person that I witnessed doing it.
About Spike and Big Mac playing a adventure game in a world of adventure. There use to be military themed tabletop games before D&D. Maybe O&O is their equivalent to those.

I was kinda hoping we'd see more guys other than just Spike and Big Mac. They're characters we love, but we have so very few good male characters! Introducing us to some more that joined them on guys night could have been very fascinating without pulling us out of the story. Other than that, I loved it! It was so much fun and had a lovely moral.

I LOVE THAT COMIC!!!!!!! Shining armor plays a paladin! Thats what my bf plays as when he plays d&d, shining armor became his spirit pony. Also cadance loves nerdy guys in the comic. She is my spirit pony because of that!
I've been on the fence for a while now about this series (only seen Season 5 and up to this point of 6), but I think this episode is what finally pushed me into liking the show.
As a fellow GM, the references and dialogue between the three focus characters were priceless. I mean seriously: Gandalf Spike, Big Mac the Dragonborn, Legolas Discord, plus the inclusions of gypsy bard Pinkie (perfect roll for her by the way) and Dishonored/Thief themed Rainbow Dash were the icing on top of the amazing cake that this episode was. And I completely agree, it was a bit disappointing to not see more of the game realm Discord created, as it felt that was an intended focus from the start but was stolen away by more minor plot points. Perhaps we can see another episode in the future exploring the themes more in depth, maybe with a few of the girls entering the game as well. Sure seemed like Pinkie and RD were already on board with the idea, and I could see Twilight possibly getting in on the action to if she put aside her nervousness to explore more "nerdy" activities n front of her friends.
All in all, this was a great episode, and now that I'm in this far I'm excited to see what else this show has in store. Great analysis Dr. Wolf, can't wait to see more from you as well!
Yup, this was a HILARIOUS ep that.. just so damn awesome. Might have used more O&O however, given how the whole system did not seem as thought out or intricate as a real D&D system and just the writer making stuff up as he went... ehh I'm fine with what we got.
But yeah the ep was awesome, now we need the sequel where the whole Mane 6 get in on the action.
I especially laughed at the angry Fluttershy joke.
I play a lot of different Table Top games and I can tell you who the character is doesn't matter as much as people might think. It's like playing a videogame but with a lot more options in design and dialogue.
You can live out a personal fantasy but it is equally fun to just create a character completely different then yourself and act how you think they would.
Makiing a character is like writing a story. At best one or two of the characters are people you would actually like to be but that doesn't mean the other one's aren't fun to write.
It's me ot I get a strong "Friend Like Me" vibe during the Jazz session of the episode (and more precisely, when the mare in the red dress turn into Discord) ?
Well I did see a bigger lesson here. There are times when the Mane Six go out and leave their friends behind, it could make them feel a bit lonely. I mean alot of the characters in the series have their own special friend, like the Mane Six have each other, the CMCs have each other, Snips and Snails have each other, Diamond and Silver - who do we see Spike and Big Mac spend time with?
Perhaps one of the lessons might be that sometimes you gotta make compromises because you see somebody else have a problem you had in your past, because you know how bad it feels, and you don't want to see anyone else have that problem, which is why they had Discord stay.
I was not surprised of what guys night was to Discord in this episode

I think that, by including the table top game from "Neigh Anything", the TV show and the comics have finally collided.
I feel like the only reason that this episode was made was to make Discord Legolas

i liked big macs helmet which instantly reminded me of Skyrim and how RD looked like an assassin from Assassins Creed. anyone want to comment on this feel free to do so. What do you think Dr. Wolf a good reference to two very good video game series?
When spike is shooting his spells around at random I yell," your going to use up all of your spell slots! Stop Now!" Unless somehow they were cantrips

the ending realy got me thinking...
if Discord is a archer/ranger,spike is a wizard and Big mac is a Fighter (and from what it looks to me,pinkie is a bard and rainbow dash is a rougue) what kind of character personas would the other Mane six (mane seven if you include starlight) be in such a setting?
im actualy surprised twilight did not know what O&O was,she always struck me as a pony that would like to roleplay
i too would like to see a follow up of this spisode,perhaps they try to get the other girls to join in the fun...but Rarity and applejack think its "childish".
(also if i saw Fluttershy as a druid with an Angelbunny animal companion,i could die happy)
I really like Spike and Big Mac wanting to be the heros like the main six, but then again: This Episode is more laugthing for me than anything else. I think I didn't have that much of a chuckle since Make new friends but keep Discord. (But I really want a followup next season, when Pinkie is in the mix. That would make it even funnier!)

Hey Doc, one question I am curious on. Will we ever get to see an episode of Starlight interacting with Discord? Cause when you think on it, Starlight is now the only main character that has not had screen time with him. And it be interesting to see how those two get along with both new to friendship. What do you think?
