I was 8 and I was hanging with a group of 10-13 year olds and we were talking about Christmas and one of them looked at me and said "Wait, you know Santa isn't real right" and I very calmly said "Yes, I know" while having a internal freak out
How I found out about Santa not being real is very VERY traumatising. Basically when I was 8 I heard my Elsa doll singing and thought it was Santa bringing my present, turns out it was my parents accidentally pressing it while having sex on top of the gifts. I saw everything.
Hey Sharon I have a quick question: Can you do a "Secrets you're keeping from your bestie"? That would be awesome. If you end up doing it here's mine: I lied to her that I started it, just to fit in... Oops. Love you!

I have 2 older siblings. The one closest in age is 6 years older than me. Listen… when you have siblings with an age gap that big, to you, Santa has never been an actual thing.
My girlfriend is deployed right now, and we met right before she had to leave. My parents know I'm dating an army girl, but they don't know she's older than me by quite a bit (I'm legal). They also don't know we are going to plan our wedding when she comes home or that we planned the proposal for the day she will meet my parents (to prove to them that she really loves me). I was going to say yes either way.
I found out Santa was not real when my grandpa was preaching at church and did not know I was there so then he said “Kids be thinking that Santa this Santa that little do they know you are all behind it” everyone in church stared at me and my grandpa realized that I was there so he made a face like OMG what did I just do! And my dad and cousins started laughing, and there’s little 10 year old me with my mouth wide open and surprised 😂💀
I was 13 when I knew Santa wasn't real (I literally saw my parents putting the presents out) but I'd had my suspicions before. My parents still don't know I know 😅
I was 5. I overheard my parents saying that that bought me the crayons I wanted, and are marking it from Santa. I’m now 12 and still pretend like I don’t know so I get better/more presents. Sorry mom/dad 🙈
She starts reading stories at 1:22. In the 4th story, the person should've told their mom what they found in the dad's drawer. In the 7th story, the person should've used the bathroom. In the 9th story, I agree with Sharon that the person should've tossed the item in a trash bin. In the 12th story, the girl shouldn't have hooked up with their mom's ex-boyfriend (her stepdad). In the 14th story, the person shouldn't be deceiving their parents. In the 15th story, the person shouldn't have done that. In the 17th story, the person should tell their mom that they have been having their period for 4 years.
I remember passing by my parents room to fill my water bottle when I was around 8 & hearing moaning on the other side… *they it’s been 4.5yrs & still aren’t aware I heard them* Then I didn’t even think about it, now I’m like “🌚🌚🌚”
similar to the girl who had to get the IV's and stuff. I faked a knee injury and I actually ended up having to get surgery lmao. I was immobilized for the entire summer when I was 11. Only my bestie knows that and I am still trying to figure it out to this day
I found out about Santa when I was 10.... I was taking a shower and afterward I realized I forgot my clothes... So I went in my mom's closet to look for something to wear... I found our little elf on the shelf in a box.. and I found the receipt from the store as well.... Eventually my parents questioned me to see if I messed with it and I lied and said no. Then they told me that Santa wasn't real....
The hooking up with mom's ex ... he isn't necessarily her stepdad. If her DAD married the stepbrother's MOM, and her mom only dated the stepbrother's dad, then he wouldn't be her stepdad. And I found out about Santa when I was 5 ... He brought me a doll that would crawl, then stand up and walk. I had asked for a FOOTBALL! My doll had a tragic accident (I think she was suicidal) - she kept (repeatedly) launching herself out of my hands onto the concrete sidewalk. I was "devastated" at losing her so young - she didn't even survive until the end of the month. She was replaced with another one, but they told me that she was a homebody and didn't like to go outside. She was just as bad - launching herself into the closet door. On January 8, I got the football I had asked Santa for in the first place.
My entire life I've known santa isn't real. A funny thing that happened to my friend, she was about 3 and she and her mom were in a mall when they saw a mall santa. she yelled VERY loudly "YOU AREN'T REAL SANTA!!!" The kids in Santa's lap were mortified.😂😂😂
so, story time. my mom is super into the holidays and stuff but my dad really isn't, so this already made it kinda hard for them to decide what holiday traditions to pass on to me. my mom really wanted to do the whole santa claus thing but my dad didn't want to lie to me, so my mom really had to convince him to play along. the thing is, he sucked at it. maybe i could just sense it from him or my brain was too logical but i pretty much knew from the beginning but i never told my parents because i wanted more presents. my parents pretended up until i was twelve that i still believed in santa and sometimes they still do (lmao) but we had the whole conversation, which was started by me. my dad then admitted to his hesitation
I was 7 when I realized Santa wasnt real. I hid upstairs and watched my parents shove presents next to the tree, yell HO HO HO, and eat all the cookies. I was traumatized. Also it was 1:00 in the morning.
im 14, my mom still marks half my presents "from santa" she knows that i know santa is real but still does so for the fun of it. i found out when i was 6 that santa wasnt real.
I was 11 when my parents told me. I was about to start secondary school (grade 6 in America) and they didn't want me to get bullied for still believing in santa. Santa might not be real, but the magic always is. What they didn't know is that I figured it out a year before they told me 🤣
8 or 9 I think but my mom is tried to convince that he still exists. If my little cousins ask I say yes so I don’t hurt their feelings. Also good job with vlogmas!! 🙂🙂
My mom thinks I didn't turn in my homework because I was afraid of bad grades, the truth is I kept losing it and I had to tell her something else because she was starting to just call it an excuse even though it was true. I would put my homework in my backpack, not touch it until I got to school, open my backpack, look to grab the homework, and it would be gone. I'd then get home, panicking, knowing my mom's gonna kill me for "making things up," and find it under my bed. I'd tell the ghost in the house that their prank isn't funny anymore, put it back in my back, and either lie about the due date getting postponed or tell her I was afraid of failing the assignment. One time it happened with a math assignment that was a big part of my grade that she was up half the night with me working on. How was I supposed to tell her I lost it? By then she started checking the records on the computer, so I couldn't say it was postponed. So I said I was afraid of the grade again. She never helped me with my homework again. I felt awful that she felt like her time was wasted, and that I kept her from sleeping, kept her awake until past midnight, knowing she had to work 3 jobs the next day, just to help me on an assignment I knew I would lose. Just because I couldn't understand it. She understood me not turning in anything in English, because I always got reprimanded for my bad handwriting, and the one time she wrote it for me, (my answers, she just put them in the slots) I got an E for cheating. I just gave up after that. I kept getting in trouble, because my mom thinks its better to try and fail than not try at all. I don't know if I believe it. If I know I can't do something right I won't bother doing it. Because it just makes more work for whoever has to fix the problem. Everyone says "how do you know if you don't try?" I know I can't do it right because I can't understand the instructions for how to do it. If you know you can do something and get it at least half right, then go ahead do it. But if you can't make heads or tails of the instructions then leave it to someone that can. You get looked down on less if you do that. Nothing wrong with trying to learn, but you can end up frustrating the person trying to teach you if you can't understand anything. You frustrate them a little less when you know a thing or two when you start. This is just my personal opinion based on personal experience. Do what you want.
That would be a nightmare btw do you know what or who kept putting your homework under your bed cause that sounds scary but yeah I understand this whole story very interesting and thanks for putting in time!
@@edwardstuffingham782 I never found out, and even now I don't say anything because i know if she didn't believe me then, she won't believe me now. And honestly, it never started until I miss a day of school, so I quickly became anxious about my attendance. I only had one class ever that I failed because I didn't care enough to try and that was seventh grade English. My teacher had these vocab assignments where you had to spell the word and write it's definition and do it all in cursive, but it was my first time using it since third grade and even my print handwriting is sloppy. I always got bad grades on them because my teacher couldn't read it. One time my mom tried writing my answers down for me,( she didn't give me the answers she just wrote down what my answers were) because she had better handwriting, and the teacher accused me of cheating because he could tell it wasn't my handwriting. I tried to explain, but he gave me a zero, so I eventually stopped doing them on time or putting in any effort. I didn't see the point in trying so hard if i was gonna fail anyways. I no longer had respect for that class or that teacher. In eight grade, my English teacher had to convince me to try, and even until I graduated it was still one of my worst subjects. It wasn't until senior year in creative writing that I regained interest and respect for the subject.
I found out that Santa wasn’t real last year when I was 11. I remember in 2019, my aunt gave me an LOL doll for Christmas and Santa gave me the exact same one. From that Christmas and on, I knew something was up.
I was 12 when I found out that Santa wasn't real and it wasn't even my parents that told me, my english teacher did in front of the whole class. He was fired.
6:15 I was 10, My bedroom was looking out to the loungeroom where we have the Christmas tree and I woke up on Christmas night because I need a drink of water and I saw my dad putting gifts under the tree, that was the moment I 100% realized Santa wasn't real (I was suspicious before I saw this)
i was 8 and i think my mom told me that early because not trying to brag but i am pretty smart and i learn things really fast so i think she told me so early so i wouldn't learn from other kids when they found out
Omg I found out Santa wasn’t real when I saw my grandmother come inside the house with a bunch of Christmas presents one Christmas Eve and then the ones I saw were the ones that were marked Santa so yeah and I think I saw like 4

Do what you want.
wow, the fact you took the time to type this 👏
That would be a nightmare btw do you know what or who kept putting your homework under your bed cause that sounds scary but yeah I understand this whole story very interesting and thanks for putting in time!
I was 8, I saw my dad wrapping the presents 😳🥲
Sharon, You deserve 2 thumbs up. Love, Mistykitten1
I found out that Santa wasn’t real last year when I was 11. I remember in 2019, my aunt gave me an LOL doll for Christmas and Santa gave me the exact same one. From that Christmas and on, I knew something was up.
Haha do a video that people tell to their Gyno 🤣🤣like you said, that would be epic 🤣🤣🤣 I could already imagine

6:15 I was 10, My bedroom was looking out to the loungeroom where we have the Christmas tree and I woke up on Christmas night because I need a drink of water and I saw my dad putting gifts under the tree, that was the moment I 100% realized Santa wasn't real (I was suspicious before I saw this)
Never believed in Santa because my parents never let me :p
