My parents are divorced so when I got my first period i told my mum straight away and not thinking went to my dads house without a pads or anything (he doesn’t have any sanitary products in his house) I didn’t tell him that I got my period and stayed in my room for 4 DAYS dying of cramps and bleeding EVERYWHERE. Fact that i keep secret from my mom: they sold ice cream in school canteen and the next time i asked my mom if i could buy some. She didnt want me to because “other children will want an ice cream when they see that you have it and will feel sad” (i was in 4th or 5th grade at that time) but i still bought ice creams from the canteen like, once in 2 days and i still buy ice creams from there during late spring and early summer times😅
