CRL Asia is going in full force right now as we enter into week 6. It is notable that all the first, second, and third place teams are Japanese. I was wondering why I just played against 6 golem + double dragon w/o pump decks in a span of 9 games (the other 3 were 2 bait w inferno dragon and hog cycle)....

Hey guys! Just a quick note, unfortunately I'm not able to access the CRL Asia clean feed as I was with CRL China. The only difference is I'm not able to get audio, only video (so no game sounds). Hope you don't find it too annoying. I'd like to continue to cover CRL Asia and will try my best to get a clean feed with audio for the next episode.

Big news. 15 minutes ago Supercell confirmed "ladder changes/improvements" coming in the June update. Will react more when I have more information. Just wanted to get that out there in the meanwhile!

Wow, the level of skill in the Asian CRL is just astounding! I love the creativity of the decks too, I liked the last deck with giant Pekka, I've been playing with a similar version on ladder adding poison and nado and it works really well.

Japan has the highest Teenage suicide rate in the world and people die from overworking. But of course: Anime/Games are more important factors😅

Interesting that you talk about the "lameness" and "weakness" of japanese people, although you have no idea of how things work in japan :) Google for "Child suicide in Japan" and you will maybe know what Im talking about here. Not working hours, but results of a politic in japan, where humanity comes long after money ;) 72 hour weeks are btw illegal in most parts of europe ;) Where are you living? Great coverage ASH! Nice to see some variety and pro gameplay from CRL Asia. You should consider doing some coverage on CR nations. South Africa beat the Netherlands which was Surgical Goblin and Loays team!! A little spoiler even Surg lost and the Dutch team didn't even make it out of the first round!! Some CRAZY things happening in the CR world! Would be great to see you do a video on it and going over the decks. PLEASE!!!

I've tried the barbarian hut 3M deck and the hut is a surprisingly decent substitute for the pump. For one more elixir, the hut is more bulky than the pump and the barbarians are nice defensive mini-tanks for the anti-air troops.
The deck Mikan bouya used, it came from tnt after the dark Prince buff and it still works in this meta

Milan bouya is actually the guy that created “cycling” it started off when he with hog cycle and now everyone uses it :). He’s also famous for a balloon cycle deck he made a couple of years ago as well :)
Love the Asian gameplay! appreciate the effort you go to get it, don't understand why the official CR guys dont have a channel with all of it loaded, for CR to be taken seriously as an e-sport it needs to be available like a sport

btw Fuchi from PONOS got to 6036 trophies as a complete f2p player (still is). Never seen anyone grind harder than him. I remember there was a time where he got to 5.6k or something like that just using some f2p RG deck which he was using for a year straight.

I've always loved Japan and have always wanted to go. The only thing I don't understand is how the esport restricts their device onto a small clamp so the players can't even move around. Anyone know why?

Thats the bad thing about this game now, is that this is not about choosing cards and building decks, is like choosing characters in a fighting game, these are the characters , log bait vs Giant double prince, Golem vs Three musketeers, Bridge spam vs Hog 2.6, Mortar Rascals Horde vs tombstone IceGolem Graveyard, Pekka Bandit RoyalG Miner vs Xbow 2.9
What i thought was fun back then was all the fun and the possibilities of building a deck and playing with it

That last match is a prime example of why Ice Golem is still OP lol. This is why nobody uses PEKKA as anything more than defense, or at least with miner poison so there's another way to get to the tower. Notice how before Ice Golem was released, there were PEKKA beatdown decks (PEKKA Double Prince) and now those don't work lol.

Also the Nova Dergha bait deck you shared 3 weeks ago helped me get to 4300 for the first time. Being a underleveled bait player on ladder is difficult and your's, and Dergha's, tips really helped me.
Serious clan wars questions; how does the end of season chest work with 1st through 5th place? Does our final war out of 7 dictate our chest that largely? Is it some aggregate of our average across those wars? Is there a different chest level for each echelon of the clan war leagues? How does that work? Clash Royale should do a better job explaining this.
