- All relevant cards of Before and After comparison of Spear Goblins before and after the balance changes. It got a rework with +34% damage, and -42% attack speed. The entire card works slightly differently. But their overall DPS remains roughly the same. A lot of these were close calls, and if I felt I had inconsistent placement between old/new footage then I would call it a draw. If the footage side by side was perfect timing, whoever gets least damage on the tower or defends faster wins.

Yes, I was thinking this as well. I felt like sometimes, he was choosing by how fast the enemy troops were getting killed and others times, how well the spear goblins did in defending the Princess Tower/how many goblins survived.

The one against goblin gang, archers and guards in defense, was not a DRAW, it was a win for the new ones, cause once the remaining goblin goes offensive it will deal more damage than the old goblin, and thus not been the same.
It's worth noting that any case where half a spear goblin survives is a point for the old, since it'll still hit the tower, while any time a single full spear goblin survives means more damage for the new.
I didn't know about the 34%+ damage, but I knew something was up with the speed when a half health goblin couldn't deliever a blow to the crown towers.

Now as speed goes slow that's why a half health spear goblin can't hit the tower.. 😊
Another thing that I noticed that you didn't mention in the video is that if the opponent places a goblin hut and u place in a tesla in the middle area on your side, the tesla would kill the spear goblins (with help of the princess tower) with out taking a single hit, whereas before the spear goblin would always get a hit on the tesla :)

What I noticed is that the tesla well actually kill a spear goblin before it hits it by ONE frame. Sooo if the opponent puts down a goblin hut use a tesla to avoid any damage lol
theres a trick abt the miner i would like you to do, the fact that he pushes ground unit, its akin to clone skipping but by a tiny amount, i won my game with this really cool tech, it pushed my pekka to target the tower instead of the enemies wizard
Please make a clone video after nerfed to 2 seconds. A short video about what can not be done anymore with it, and what can be still done but with certain conditions.
you forgot that now goblin hut is less effective against tesla cuz the tesla will now one shot each goblin before it can even get a shot off

some of this scoring is off. eg, archer interaction is not a draw. a 1 hp spear now no longer chips tower, whereas with the old attack startup, it will get 1 spear off at any amount of hp

How did the new beat the old in the skeleton army one? They both fully killed it, without suffering any tower damage or spear gob damage
sadly, it goes from being a tossup to being a HUGE nerf if you are a good player on ladder with underleveled cards.

even with the score i still think thew old is usually better because if the spear goblin dies within that 0.4 seconds then they did no damage entirely

I as an underlvlt goblin hut user noticed something
I'm lvl9 Arena11 where you often meet lvl11 and lvl12
And my lvl8 Gobs from the Goblin Hut gets oneshot b4 taking a swing on the lvl11 and up princess tower, which costed me 200 trophys and a deck change...
It was generally a buff except the major nerf on the first attack
Does not matter how much damage you give them if they attack so slow they don't do anything considereding they die by zap
Since Musket and Flying Machine don't get chipped by the Hut, what about the Magic Archer?
Magbe a vid on how the gang is affected by the speargobs rework? Ive been using gang for quite a while and it feels weaker though logically you would think its stronger if speargobs are stronger. However the interactions can be impacted thanks to tanky stabgobs and their formatting of attacking. How is gang affected by the rework?

Now Spear Gobs 1 shot skeletons so Spear Gobs will be a new decent counter to the Graveyard and Tombstone
I still like the old ones in the ways that matter to me, like the faster hitspeed over damage. But it is an upgrade for the gobhut.
But its not accurate as the cards which new goblins r fighting too got buffed or nerfed .....so the old goblins vs new goblins comparison won't work 😎
When there is nothing different in the results than why does it give the new ones the win. Musk and hunter. The musk still got one shot off on both sides. So that would be a draw.

Why do the old one's get a point against the goblin gang? I assume because they had more overal health, but if so then the new goblins should get a point against the goblin barrel cuz they're all full hp.
EDIT: Also if this was the rule then scarmy, hunter muski and skeleton barrel should be a draw, equal health left on the tower and same hp left on the goblins.

the new goblins are a huge nerf to goblin hut because musketeer is everwhere 4000+ trophies

Spear goblins one shot skeletons now. So imagine that it's a thin counter: spending 2 to counter 5, but if they Zap you are in trouble bubble.
This makes spear gobs a magnet for Zap even more than it was before, but the trade off is being able to control where the Zap is placed
The Goblin Spear Hut was placed on different locations at the end if my eyes dont deceive me.

Spear gobs still seem pretty weird.. I would still rather use bats, ice golem, ice spirit or archers than spear goblins. I would like to see a ~3% dmg buff, or a -0.1 hit speed buff

In my opinion the score should be old: 2 new: 10 and draw: 6 because of the exact scenarios, there’s a lot to be taken into account in a real game, but if everything played out the outcomes would usually be the same, either way new is overall better.
You forget about hidden tesla which is ruining goblins hut now...
