Went out to the garage today and cleaned up my 200 and my 650 Burgman scooters...The oil is still clean from last summer, so I just added a bit of oil to the 650 to bring it up 2/3 way in the sight glass. I hadn't started them for 5 months....they both fired up immediately! Now this old man is ready for the summer months!

I ran mine down inside the tupperware on the side not quite hanging out the bottom. Just reach up inside the side above the side reflector and there it is.

Everything is better with magnets... lol Glad it worked for you. I think I will do the same to my Burgman... now you have me thinking about my Honda NC750x, which also has a frunk (front trunk), which is unlocked with the ignition key... hmmm
I like this idea, wherever it is routed! I definitely don't like the idea of pushing and turning on your ignition. My first thought was "the guy who thought of that should be fired" Your idea is great! They could have just put a button in the glove box though!
I would like to claim the idea but it was actually a suggestion from a viewer. It works very well and has a great back up in case you forget your key. And I tend to agree with you pushing and turning puts a lot of pressure and stress on that key. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👍🏻

Do you have a video on how to replace the strut for the trunk to stay up
I don’t not yet I do plan on doing mine soon. So I will get a video up for that eventually I’m just working on limited time right now.
What about a spare key duct taped in non-locking glove box? Black duct tape, discrete??!

@@ManCaveMayhem Actually, not such a good idea. I've done that in the past, but it only protects against locking a key under the seat. It does not protect against the possibility of the seat release cable breaking, which it has been known to do. The only proper way to deal with that risk is with the seat bypass such as you have done.
Hey MC,my 2007 650 executive windshield stopped working up & down need it help please
Check fuses, check the switch, make sure nothing is binding. It’s pretty hard for me to diagnose without have the bike. Hope this helps.
