You do not need to remove tge magnet cover. Just let pull the small magnets to pop on the magnets inside, so you have the position and the orientation too. The face of the magnets schood also face out from the key and so younhave coded the magnets too ;)

good to see you.... I learned this week that curiosity is a very strange thing . I have penned a paper on that Nich in our brain that makes us such curious creatures. The curiosity we all have ,some than others , right Dan??? it's called the loop it's the thing drives our curiosity is a very small part of the brain, but it causes us to almost ignore danger to quinch our insatiable thirst of curiosity. Great job Dan. Yeah sometimes you have to bypass the Dealer and take matters into your own hands. The Key at the Dealer might cost $100

This is only works for US spec . Here in Europe and japan Skywave 650 the keys are chipped from 2005

The Suzuki Ignition switch has a tamper-resisting magnetic cover that opens only with correctly magnetic coded key for security.
It also has a incorporates Suzuki Advanced Immobilizer System (SAIS), a transponder-type transistorized digital computer-controlled immobilizer.

Literally has none of that stuff and he worked just fine as a blank It doesn't have A transponder in the key and it still starts the bike just fine with no issues. I did nothing special to make the $7 eBay he that I ordered work I looked at the magnets I put them down correctly I locked and unlocked everything the key works perfectly fine I think you have some outdated information. I'm not sure who told you all that gaga that you just spewed but none of it is accurate at all

I remember that burgman in the USA are not fitted with the immobiliser there for no chipped key

Your model does not have an immobilizer. I tried it on my model (650 Executive ABS, year of manufacture 2016, Europe version) and the bike won't start.

Does the bike not start without key at all or without magnet anti theft ?even if hotwired or putting a paper clip in the ignition barrel ?

I have the same key, but with the anti theft chip, I'm not sure where I can get the chip. At the dealership, it's extremely expensive.

There is a positive and a negative on the magnets caution if installed wrong it wont work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
