Even the video ist already many years old, it still helped me by changing the air Filter and the spark plugs. Is easy going and stright forward. Great job
I have 53k on my 2005 650 Burgy and shamelessly haven't touched it, as far as tune ups go, but I do change oil on a regular basis. It still runs great and mileage hasn't dropped a bit. However, I know I will be tuning it this Spring so thanks for the video. You probably should have emphasized that there are two plugs. I barely caught you saying plugs and not plug. Otherwise, great job and keep it up.
@MrVanjadjukanovic I think he is talking about the reset warning you get on the instruments panel. It is can be reset and all the information is on the service manual that came with the scooter/motorcycle. Thanks for the Video clip.
A switch or something under the engine with a wire leading to it leaks oil. Does it have an o-ring and if remove it with the two small bolts, will the engine oil spill out?
Thank you for the vid, very helpful. Just one thing though. That air filter...WOW! That should be replaced (or cleaned K&N) at every oil change. Even after blowing it out it looks way past its useful life. Just my opinion from experience
Great video man . I need to do that , I brought mine to the shop to get new tires and change the plugs they did not do them they told me it is a 5 hour job I say bull I bet it took you no more than 1 hour
Really man you look mean enough to be riding a cruiser motorcycle of some kind and not a scooter. You are a Rocker and not a scooter riding Mod. Get the DVD called "Quadrophenia" and you will see the difference between Mod's and Rocker's. The music in the movie is by the Who and that is a good listen as well. Enjoyed your video. From 66 year old Australian Rocker.
Good video. Thanks for putting forth the effort. But you really don't show how difficult those plug caps were to remove and re-install. MAN, they are stubborn!
Thanks for the video, much appreciated by everyone, just one thing,my handbook says change the plugs at 7000 miles, looks if it's ok to leave them to 17000 miles.
Hey dude, great video, could you post a photo of the cover and part no. of the user's manual? I ain't got one for mine and I'd like to see what I need to look for. Thanks alot!
Yes they do I just bought one $58 out the door at AutoZone and what was weird is when I took out the old air filter there was a big nest that a rat or mouse made in there
@bryanb1973 I changed spark plugs and when I turned to put the transit did not want to change the speed, but only in the first and will continue .. I called service and they told me that it should be reset something .. Now what I do not know.
@MrVanjadjukanovic do we have the same make and model of bike? you might want to go to a Burgman web site for more help. because on my bike i didn't have to reset any thing after a tune up.
sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Zaid Amos thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@lewisTHC make sure the batt has a full charge .if it's still broke make a short video and send it i'll try to help. need more info their is a burgman forum.
@bryanb1973 I solved the problem .. it is the oil in the gearbox is so dirty it turned on an error in the instrument panel ... Fi is turned on and always shines .. we changed the oil and reset the laptop and that's it .. : D anyway thanks .. a burgman the dragon ..:)
Translate The video an Arabic part to draw attention to because Arabs are more in need of your videos. I understand you because I studied language, but not all people understand 😊✋😘

Your video on the spark plug is the best I’ve seen. Keep up the good work. Thanks bro
Even the video ist already many years old, it still helped me by changing the air Filter and the spark plugs. Is easy going and stright forward. Great job

This video was exactly everything I needed - Thank you - worked perfectly. Simple NO Bull to the point step by step - good job.
is it just me, or did I only see 1 spark plug, this is a 2 cylinder engine, so where is the other spark plug?
Thanks man. I'll have to change mine soon. Getting close to 16K. GREAT camera work. I'm impressed.
Well shot video and very helpful, thanks :)

So should there be 2 spark plugs?
I saw only one plug replaced.

How to do a tune up with Tank Abbot!!!!!!!! Damn your good, a UFC fighter and a motorscooter mechanic. I'm impressed.
@MrVanjadjukanovic
I think he is talking about the reset warning you get on the instruments panel. It is can be reset and all the information is on the service manual that came with the scooter/motorcycle. Thanks for the Video clip.
Excellent vid., very well made and easy to follow. I've got my heart set on a 400 Burgman.

A switch or something under the engine with a wire leading to it leaks oil. Does it have an o-ring and if remove it with the two small bolts, will the engine oil spill out?
Cool video! Thank you lots! :)
Thank you for the vid, very helpful. Just one thing though. That air filter...WOW! That should be replaced (or cleaned K&N) at every oil change. Even after blowing it out it looks way past its useful life. Just my opinion from experience
Here's the funny thing it still has the original one in it. cleaned it afew times. my gas mileage has not changed at all from being plugged or clean
Uhhh.. There are two spark plugs.. the other one is hard to get to.. Did you change that one? I wouldlike to see that process as well.
@MrVanjadjukanovic as far as mine goes you don't have to reset any thing after a tune up. are you talking about the oil change reminder?
A very excellent video and thank you for spreading knowledge and love.
It seems the the hardest part about working on a scooter is, getting the plastic off, without breaking it, to work on the fix.
They do not have anyting hardly to fix a 200 Burgman fars videos
I just bought this Burgman 200 don't know where nothing is on the moped
Thanks! the only down side i found with the 400 is the final drive is belt. the 650 is gear. 33k and still going!
Great video man . I need to do that , I brought mine to the shop to get new tires and change the plugs they did not do them they told me it is a 5 hour job I say bull I bet it took you no more than 1 hour

Thank you for the videos. What was that long tube like part you pulled up before you took the spark plug out?
That's a coil pack
I enjoy your videos.Do more detail when you take a part off or when you put it back on.Im learning.
Good video. Thanks for putting forth the effort. But you really don't show how difficult those plug caps were to remove and re-install. MAN, they are stubborn!

I didn't change mine until it started missing
Hey dude, great video, could you post a photo of the cover and part no. of the user's manual? I ain't got one for mine and I'd like to see what I need to look for. Thanks alot!
Nice job. Pretty hard to get to for spark plugs, interesting location for an air filter too. I wonder if K&N makes a replacement.
Yes they do I just bought one $58 out the door at AutoZone and what was weird is when I took out the old air filter there was a big nest that a rat or mouse made in there
Does the k&n air filter make a difference?

@bryanb1973 I changed spark plugs and when I turned to put the transit did not want to change the speed, but only in the first and will continue .. I called service and they told me that it should be reset something .. Now what I do not know.

i used my new trail cam "GoPro" and a Canon a590. thanks for the comment.
Radiators belong on cars and trucks. You just want to hope that you do not have to adjust the valve shims on one of these things.
I put the same thing back in!
its a pain in the ass to get the 2nd plug out..
@McNighthawk750 just two!
Never mind. Found them.
