This is a new demo trumpet Bach Commercial model. The Bach Stradivarius Series continues the legacy of the legendary master craftsman Vincent Bach. The LT190S1B combines new materials and processes with vintage design elements to produce a trumpet with amazing agility, quick response and easy performance in extreme registers with the signature Bach sound.
This trumpet features a .459-inch medium-large bore with a 5" lightweight commercial bronze bell with a French-style bell rim in Vincent Bach's first bell design - the #1, or "T" bell, plus a two-piece brass valve casing with bronze balusters. This commercial design is continued in the lightweight brass outer and lightweight nickel-silver inner slide tubing plus minimal bracing to allow maximum vibration. This horn includes a case and mouthpiece, along with two main tuning slides-one with a single radius and one with a "D" shape design.

The Patrick CR 75M with the James New lead back bore works well with that horn. It smokes!! Great ring and full sound in the upper register. In the middle register it still gets a nice full sound without being edgy for a commercial piece.

Hey! Ya I really like this piece a lot. Always feels easy to genre swap as needed on it.

Is this something you figured out yourself? Moving the mouthpiece on the lips at the higher register? I'm amazed that this works!!! I've never seen anyone do this before!!!But it works for you and that's......AMAZING!!!😱😧😲👌👍

You sound great on any trumpet, let’s be real. Most of the trumpet sound is in the lips, not the horn itself. That being said, I still don’t like Bach. Played most of my life on a 37, and it nearly ended my entire career. Absolutely hate those things. 😅 I know it’s insanely popular, and especially the new breed of Bachs, but it’s definitely not for everyone, at all. I highly recommend you try do a video on the Yamaha 8310Z Gen2, it’s a Vindabona style instrument and feels absolutely stunning for any kind of music. That being said as well, Lotus Silver Flare would blow your mind… just saying. Great playing man!

Thanks for the comment! I played the Silver Flare and it’s not really my vibe. I’ve tried a ton of lotus trumpets and owned 2 (still have one that I use for recording purposes). Love the 8310Z’s! If BIW gets one in stock I’ll 100% do a video on those. I personally play a Thane Trumpet and an old Bach 43 for most of the work I do. Sound mostly comes from from your body and oral cavity shape. Dental structure is another HUGE determining factor in a players tone production. My goal is to demonstrate some different mouthpieces and different horns so experienced players can hear some of the nuance of the instruments. Thanks for watching!
