Good review. I bought the orange monsters after having too many 5.10s delaminate. Quality has really gone down after they were bought. Stealth rubber is the best in wet canyons, but the orange guys feel pretty good too. Time will tell how sticky they are on wet granite. Glad to hear these held up, guide tennies blew apart after only a few trips.

Get the old shoes resoled
Bummed to hear about the sand issue...was hoping to use them for some Hawaiian trails which include sand...guess they won’t be great for that.
They do suck up the sand but great shoe regardless...
Did you also wear these around town or only on outdoor adventure? And ever try the Boulder X for comparison?
Only on adventure, try to make the tread (sole) last as long as possible.
