And now that I watched the video and searched we have so many stories of Old women that live in the deep forest and transform themselves into Birds or bird-like figures, luring travelers and wanderers to enter the forest for their rituals. In the North of Brasil we have the Matinta Pereira which is so similar to the Witcher depiction it's kinda scary.
