I think there's another term for these monsters which I think is far more accurate, "cosmic horror", beings or entities, corporeal and non-corporeal alike, whose complexities in their existence are so incomprehensible to the mortal mind that one glance at their true form would be enough to drive even the bravest human mad. Imagine a close range encounter with a creature you've never seen or even heard of before that is over 300ft tall, set aside what it might look like, the sheer size of a creature that large suddenly appearing in front of you would make anyone sh*t their pants. And those cosmic horrors are tens, hundreds, or perhaps even thousands of times bigger. Geralt already faced Dagon before, a Lovecraftian styled entity surrounded by fish people like Cthulhu and the Deep Ones, and I remember seeing an easter egg of Geralt encountering some large unknown creature under water, nearly scared the p*ss out of me, so I wouldn't be surprised if Kraken or some other ancient horrors are real and are currently sleeping underground or at the bottom of the ocean. I mean we are talking about the Conjunction of Spheres, where creatures from all corners of the universe were randomly teleported to whatever planet they landed on so who knows what monstrosity could've been moved here long ago? I just hope that humanity don't get too crazy with our technology, because the way I see it, elves are doomed to disappear, by either being assimilated into humanity, or leave this world by choice, I just don't think humans are capable of peacefully coexisting with an alien species(they did came from a different planet) that is superior than us, and without their magic, if our technology developed too rapidly and our destruction of this planet is making too much noise to the point of waking these ancient monsters from their sleep, then we're doomed. (besides some of these entities could be so terrifying I don't think even the elves could deal with them) Also another potential interesting topic would be the Vrans, the lizard people, IMO. There is a video by Yavinius on how Emhyr var Emreis is actually a Vran in disguise, although he did say that video was an April Fool's joke but I think he might have actually nailed on something. There aren't that many Vrans left, whatever is left of them likely retreated underground, living beneath us without us knowing, and holding a major grudge against the elves for causing their downfall, and to a lesser degree, this grudge is against humans as well since we weren't that much nicer to them. Most Vrans are said to possess no magic abilities at all but the few individuals that do are usually extremely powerful. One of their magic capabilities is said to be shapeshifting which had been a conspiracy theory amongst the Nordlings for years, suspecting many influential humans are actually Vran imposters, including Emhyr, as previously mentioned, to subvert and overthrow humanity from within so the Vrans can reclaim their planet from humans, this is likely just superstitions but it's fun to think about nonetheless. It's always a welcome sight every time Old Witcher releases a new video, unfortunately there just aren't enough Witcher content creators out there, so disappointed that this amazing franchise is being largely ignored. Keep'em coming my dude!

I've never understood why, but CDPR really did the dirty on all TW2's sorceresses that appeared in TW3, and Sheila didn't even look like the same character, bruises taken into account. Only Triss got an upgrade.

Honestly, I'd love to watch a TV show where Geralt just goes around doing contracts and killing different monsters and quest in each episode. No main storyline, just Geralt slaying monsters and going on quests. It would go deep into the lore of certain monsters while Geralt is hunting them and hint at untold mysteries of the Witcher Universe. 🙂

Yes, Geralt made the wish to be with Yennefer but only to bind her to him so the Djinn could not harm her because doing so would harm him and a Djinn cannot harm its master directly. There was already a mutual attraction between Geralt and Yennefer before that wish. Perhaps the wish moved things along but it was not the source of their romance.

How would we do it? Well that is exactly the question CDPR are going to have to answer with TW4. I'm not keen on the idea of abandoning Geralt for a new protagonist, because Geralt has 8 books, several comics, and three games worth of lore behind him and the characters surrounding him like Dandelion, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss, and other Lodge members and a vast array of peripheral characters to draw upon. So the question is, how much of that can you cam into a new character and have room to tell it within the confines of a video game?
