I missed this live, but heard it with divine timing. Your efforts with this channel are working. They are in me. I was adopted as a newborn. Found my birth-mothers family in my early 30s. They told me our great-great grandfather married an Ojibwa woman. They are from the northern portion of Michigan. I live in Texas. Doing the geneology to discover if that is really true and if so, her name. If she made her decisions with her 7th generation in mind, It is my wish to remember her. I feel all my ancestors, especially “grandmothers” guiding me when Im not getting our creators message. Im, my Scottish, Welsh, Jewish and maybe Ojibwa. Are there tribal records of unions of Ojibwa women to European frontiersman?
Most Indigenous poeple of mixed decent would identify as half blood others would identify themselves as Metis. Their are many great resources out there in terms of history and culture.
