I believe people who are disappointed about the lack of a Snapdragon chip are specifically referring to the absence of the SD8G4. This chip is already available, and if Samsung had stuck to their usual 18-month cycle, the SD8G4 and Tab S10 would have been ready for release in February 2025. My conclusion is that Samsung couldn't afford to release the Tab S10 with a year-old chip in February as it would have been a PR disaster. Instead, they released it early with a chip from 2023. I understand that they are doing this to maximize profits as they have not reduced the pricing, so that is a business decision. However, when Apple released the iPad Pro with an M4 chip six months before it was seen in another device, it was hard to accept Samsung's choice.
lol i once bought a headphone that was beyond my budget just because of the salesperson is so helpful and knowledgeable. i didnt even consider it when i was looking at one of the biggest IT stores, the salesperson not knowing much about the product. the other guy was working at small shop only, but he really know his stuff. guide me all the way through different product and i went a bit over my budget and buy with him
Loved this video! Everyone is focussing more on the Tab S10 Ultra and I was struggling to find a good review for the S10+. This was a great video, highly technical, and very well explained!
Idk if it is just me but the brightness not really bright at maximum when i compare it with huawei matepad. The screen feeling when touch also so much better
I found that alternate game performance management was leading to dropped frames in certain games. Something either changed with these games or recent updates but something to keep in mind. Prior to this, alternate game performance management led to better performance.
@NasiLemakTech on s10 ultra and even on my s23 ultra. It may be game and dev specific. My guess is the dev may have made optimizations based on the chipset out the box vs with this setting enabled
@somayough I just disabled alternate game mode performance and it started running better. I also don't have any other plug ins enabled besides perfz for monitoring frames and temps. If you're having issues this might be worth a try
Dear. With my Tab S10+ and regarding its battery, I've noticed that every 6 minutes with the brightness at 60% and volume at 50%, the battery reduces approximately 1%. Do you consider it to be within a normal range?
hey nl tech, can you make different explanation about game in the playstore and galaxy store? there is a different performance of that? thank you very much
Can you do a video showing how emulators run on this? Seems to be impossible to find any videos of that for the devices. Yuzu, Dolphin, etc. emulators. Seems to be the weakness of the Dimensity chips but no video reviewer is talking about it.
I have used tan s5e with fingerprint scanner on the power button and I hated it. It's not very responsive and often not able to detect my scans. On screen scanner works way better.
Hey, i also have the tab s10 plus. I was messing around with screen tests and did the colour gradient test. I am getting inconsistent discolouration streaks when displaying the 256 division colour gradient, especially towards the darker colours. Is it a software thing, or is my screen broken?
Got mine for a week and I am very disappointed by the battery life. It's half what my S9FE + was. I can watch TH-cam at 1440p for 4 hours only at medium brightness.
They should have not launched this year maybe but the plus and ultra series have too much profit margin to ignore, while the top selling s9 will only get a successor next year.
@@chinaman1 Base S8 uses a TFT LCD screen compared to OLED on S9, if you care about that. The optical fingerprint scanner on the S9 is fast but I also know side-mounted scanners (which the base S8 has) are also fast. Not sure how performance is on S8 so you might have to do a bit of research on that, but performance and battery are amazing on the S9 (I get up to 7 hours+ on a single charge just from multiple hours of gaming) Hope this helps
I agree with using the dimensity 9300 but the problem is when developers dont support the chipset as someone who plays pubg on a53 its took them 2 year to unlock 60 fps and on the a54 when i got it my cousin on sept it inly ran at 30 fps. So people are more afraid to use mediatek becz developers optimise the Snapdragons and takes years to do the same with rest of chipset. It might take 1 month to unlock 120 fps on pubg for Snapdragon but for exynos, mediatek it takes months or years.

Tbh maybe should've released with the Dimensity 9400 instead. That chip was released a week after this tablet was out.
A week!
I have the Tab S8+ and I use my index fingers with the fingerprint scanner. Works like a charm.

Both are fine. Go with your budget

Once you have used the Ultra, and later try to use smaller tablets, you will begin to miss that large display. I have personally experienced this.

Because mediatel would fail

i really don't want to get a Samsung, but the iPad pro M4 is so miserable with it's software and OS that I am inclined to go with the samsung instead.
If you want Samsung, get the S9 series. Cheaper and it's pretty much the same device
