It still rubs me up the wrong way that there's no base version, which makes the 'plus' naming scheme of this thing suddenly make zero sense in isolation. I also already have a Tab S8 (base model) and I'd have no idea what to upgrade to when the time comes, because there's no equivalent of that tablet in that price range anymore.
Im just bummed there is no 11 inch version, even the Apple Pro has a 11 inch version and especially creative artists prefer the 11 inch as it's easier to draw wherever u want. :( The Galaxy Tab S9 is the only recent one I can get that's 11 inch.
I have both a 12.9 inch iPad and 11 inch iPad Pro. The larger canvas definitely is way more beneficial, but I owned a S9 last year and i did enjoy it a lot for an Android tablet.
@Jimmyfly215 i have a 12.9 inch Ipad Pro too and it's not good at all for versatile drawing, it's too heavy I tried drawing in the park, or subway or elsewhere that thing is too heavy for long term usage. That's why I want a 11 inch tablet. And from what I've seen many artists who have the 12.9 Pro switched to the 11 inch later and I couldn't agree more. But to each their own it's just sad that they left out ppl like me who prefer a smaller tablet
@ understood! Curious as to why Samsung did that. I tested all of their tablets and the Ultra was too big for tablet use and the 11 inch version was arguably the best tablet for a while. I love my 11 inch M4 iPad though. It’s so thin, light, and incredible screen for drawing and photo editing
I blame Google for not making the tablet market so friendly for developers. That's why we have these strechted out apps. That's why we will not get a Procreate or Infinity Designer all these developers keep saying Android tablets are just not their yet. And Samsung is the only one actually keeping it afloat. Either Google needs to create their own Procreate, Fresco, Final Cut Pro, Imovie etc. Or it has to encourage developers to create tablet friendly apps. Also Samsung needs to calm down with only large screens, the Ultra and Plus are great for ppl who want it. But 11 inch is necceseray for ppl who like to bring it outside, sketch outside or elsewhere indoors, who watch movies in their bed holding the tablet in their hands. It's odd they left the 11 inch out of the equation. And it's sadly a sale they won't get from me. I don't want the S9 I want a 11 inch S10 with the newer CPU GPU
I hate OLED screens on tablets or anything bigger than a phone with every single fibre of my soul and I can’t comprehend how they are so popular nowadays
@PaisiusAndrei PWM of OLEDs makes me feel headache and burn in eyes Also image burn out is very possible when one single app is used for lots of hours which is very common use scenario on tablets and PCs
They are overpriced as shit, got the S10 ultra for converted 6 to 700 euros. iPad pro 13 inch would be 1300 😂 It's ridiculous how people like you let yourself be scammed from apple, these branding fanboys really isn't to help

Wish they would come out with a smaller one. I love reading and I take a lot of notes this thing is heavy
UFS 3.1 in 2024 is crazy 👎🏽
The Galaxy Tab S Plus is what I wish that the Google Pixel Tablet had been, so, yeah, it's perfect.
Idk why Samsung skipped the 11" model this year. But stick with the Tab S9 series for the half of the price.
I just ordered the tab S9 11 inch for £400 from Very by combining a couple of offers. Feel like that’s a bargain.
Weak chip and slow storage and it's more expensive than an iPad...

Any reason why?
