dude, YES, thank you man. a breakthrough happened with me. The whole soft palette this all the sudden made my ear connect with my voice. You're the man!
Open throat in operatic singing (gola aperta) is creating the perfect acoustic tuning of the pharyngeal space to amplify the correct sets of formats of whatever vowel you are singing, so that your voice can be heard in a large hall without amplification. The hard part is not doing those adjustments, the hard part is relaxing everything that should not participate (shoulders, neck, jaw, lips, oral cavity). Also the larynx must not be lowered with the help of the back of the tongue (like the guy in this video does). The hyoid bone should remain in place when you lower your larynx.
so the differences between operatic, Broadway, and "other" types of singing drive me nuts.I have never had a voice teacher who satisfactorily explained the difference.
I would probably add the fact that just closing or opening the mouth ("un-hinging the jaw") also contributes to a more "closed" or "open throat", if you will.
@@adammishan Welcomee. Your my favorite vlogger and can i ask if yes? can you create a video topic for how to get nice voice cuz i have plan to audition some compitition i mean singing♥
Try doing your best santa claus voice and lauging in a low voice like santa. Then keep that sound and hold a note. This is not the way to sing high notes though as your larynx needs to raise when going high just to make you aware ❤️
@@arleen123100 i actually was tested and at low notes my vocal cords don't vibrate. i have a dysphonia where my cords contort into a circle. It was strange when I saw that on video
Chris Sparks 史 瑞 德 no way!! Sorry to hear that!! However you have something different that not many people have which what is the key to success!! Being unique so use it😉
Chris Sparks 史 瑞 德 I get you!! I felt like like that before but you’re right just be you!! If you are diffrent and other people don’t like it, thats their problem❤️
Oh gosh there are too much information On YT But I really like what this guy said about do what fits you that was kinda helpful even tho I still don't know how to raise my soft palate or drop the back of my tongue 😢
You made me so nervous when making the sounds at 3:17. My first thought (subconscious) was 'Oh no, he can't breath! Is he choking?". I'm a nurse btw. :D Good video overall!
Nice. And then you can combine: High tongue with a low Larynx and a high palate. #Challenge 😁However, what you call compression can be achieved as well sounding less constricted and even much louder with a more fine tuned glottis closing mechanism.
Would be great if you could personally comment on your viewers questions and stuff, Adam! I rarely see you ever respond to viewer comments, including mine. Thanks!

These "vocal coaches" laughing at the face of years and years of bel canto rules and valid practices, the first being "no action in the throat", then this guy talking about directly lifting it😂. You do this by breathing low, not directly...silly.
Idk why but his intro song is really Amazing

The song is called “lost boy” from Ruth B

I'm shy at opening my mouth fully and singing
So my voice is really low or airy
Ppl can't even understand wat I mostly say..😂
Thats kinda the exact reason why you should do that.
Try to learn singing for yourself then first (recording might help)
Saem man
Holy shit we have the same problem!
for me high and airy.
Can someone say that he looks like Lucifer Morningstar

The inhaling while thinking of K helped so much, it literally did the trick, thank you so much!
Very concise and knowledgable. Why can't every vocal coach give this much information? Thank youuuuuuuuu
To me it means relaxing everything in my throat and unhinging my teeth and just feeling the vibrations in my mask!
I would probably add the fact that just closing or opening the mouth ("un-hinging the jaw") also contributes to a more "closed" or "open throat", if you will.

Thank you, my range expands almost an entire octave after i "open" my throat lol.
But honestly i just came here to try to belt Demi's Bb5
I love the toolbox approach you have for singing. The application is up to us, depending on our desired outcomes. Thanks!
Yea this helps me understand a lot. You're a good teacher
I love everything on your videos this is really helpful. Keep inspiring. Adam♥️
the low larynx singing is something i can't do without hurting myself

EXCELLENT!!!!!
Can you sing original pitch of versacce on the floor by bruno mars?
Thank you, i really like your voice techniques😍
I love the intro music❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
I been trying to get a strong head voice. Also what’s a falsetto? Thank for the open throat.
Its when you're are singing breathy.....
Falsetto is breathy head voice
@@benderong4478 nope, pure falsetto is not breathy. Head voice and falsetto are two completely different muscular functions.
@@celibidache1000 no they arent.. They are practically the same.. Except falsetto is breathier
