- Are you looking for a comfort channel where a traveling couple takes you on spontaneous adventure twice a week? Well we're your people! Join us on this motorbike ride where we tour several Buddhist Temples in Central Thailand around Sam Roi Yot. We encounter lots of wildlife like monkeys and pigs too, and even tour a street food market that was super cheap. The temples visited were Wat Hup Ta Khot, Wat Khao Daeng, Wat Don Yai Nu and Wat Samrong. We hope you have fun on this one. Yup, im loving Thailand. Really fascinating and beautiful temples. And whatever those family funerary constructs were. I just love all the views. Meat on a stick, kinda hard to beat that. Yum. Amazing how the monkeys climb up the cliff and while holding a baby at times. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week!!
Those monkeys were crazy to watch! They're so athletic in trees, but they have more hand holds there. This cliff didn't have much to grab onto.
The tiny Liz and Charlie on the bike on the map is GREAT! I love it! Those little temples almost looking like a graveyard seem to all have those bells in the opened portion of the temples-I wonder if they ring them on certain holidays? They have to be mausoleums, right?
We always have fun traveling around with you! ❤❤❤
lol “Still here?” 😂
Thank you! We've been wanting to add an animated map for so long and finally found a good way to do it. Glad you noticed. Yeah we have so many questions about these temples and tombs too. Buddhism is fascinating to us.
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks! Have a great day.
Love your channel. so comfort and serene
Thank you. We try to give people that feeling along with adventure and some discovery
So much to see and explore there ! Love the temples. So much detail was put into them. The food looked to be good once again. Good eaten' for such a small price to pay, love it !! Oh I like seeing the monkeys also at the end. Another awesome adventure yous have shared with us😊
Thank you, Cherry! We loved watching those monkeys. Made us nervous though. That would not be a good fall.
Bam Bam is riding a Kirin, the creature on the beer can, aka Qilin or Chimera type thingy.
Keep the adventures coming!
So it was definitely Bam Bam, right? 🤣🤣🤣
There are literally so many unique temples in Thailand….if you tried to video all of them it would take years and years😃
Let alone just the random shrines in trees and rocks and such. It's very cool how sacred places and things are to the Thai people.
I love the animation of your travels , you guys should totally do that all the time (if its not to hard to do )
Thailand is beautiful and I love all the temples , there is just something about holy sites that I love , all religions it does not matter to me.
That market looked like fun and I love Pamello they have such a thick rind but they are so good , and I really think I would do great in Vietnam because I LOVE salt on fruit ( try it on cantaloupe some time its AMAZING ).
And you guys are the best of course you get our support and you keep adding Monkey's to the videos you might just get a little more 🤣🤣
Great video guys , even before the monkeys
The travel animation is a little extra work, but really helps tell the story. Especially when we fail to film it. LOL!
Hey, you're cutoff on supporting us any more than you already do. No matter how many monkeys we show! We appreciate it, but you got a biz to grow and adventures to chase too.
@@TheAdventureCloset well all right I guess , but I make no promises I mean the only way would be if I saw a giant grouper in a real cool aquarium 🤣I watched the recent video just have yet to comment LOL
Hope you enjoy Relaxing with khmer Temples in Thailand, refreshing area, calm, the sacred of temples with ppl living since ancient era …
Such beautiful temples! And poor Buddha! He was looking like he wasn't feeling well! He just fell to pieces! But the temples and the family burial temples were just beautiful! The temples themselves were so ornate and gorgeous! And the food looked sooo good! Thank you for a fun day of exploring Thailand! And the monkeys climbing the cliff were so surprising and neat! Thank you for that too! I'm just in awe of every site you show! I'm like a kid in a candy store! 😊 Thank you guys for showing me the Asia that I never knew existed❣️
Wish we knew the real story on that poor Buddha, but speculating was fun too. Yeah those monkeys on the wall really showed how athletic they are. We could've made a whole video just watching them. Happy to show you these places. Much more to come

ขอบคุณมาก!
It’s been really interesting to see the temples. The ones in Thailand look very different from the ones in Vietnam although both are beautiful. This was a very peaceful video to watch.
Yes, so many differences in the Buddha's and the temples in all these countries. We didn't expect that, but it made it even more interesting as we moved along.
You will have to come to Western Nevada. Not so hot with little humidity.
I bet Nevada feels like the arctic to us now. Lol!
16:10 they was statues from Phra Aphai Mani
it was like an epic poem composed by Thai poet Sunthorn Phu , who is known as "the Bard of Rattanakosin"
We'll look them up. Thanks again for being so informative.
Thailand, a very interesting destination.
It really is. So much going on everywhere you turn.

top wings part of chicken. Should take out of stick to enjoy it. it had 3 pieces in that stick.
It was tasty but we clearly didn't know how to eat it. Haha!
Those little stupas are for the urns. In Thailand, we cremate the decease and deposit the urns in those stupas in the temple. Some of them are used for multiple family members but usually are used for only one.
Thank you! I was fairly sure that was it then when we saw the open peek spots, I was sure but why are they not sealed up after the new urns were added yet? Here in the US creepy people would steal them.
@@RianShafer Thais are extremely superstitious, one must be insane to remove anything from those stupas, it’s a very bad omen. Just walking there in the dark is a big no no. We believe that the spirit will haunt you until you return the stolen items. I don’t know if it’s true but never try that though :)
As for the seal up and maintenance, I guess the living ones are preoccupied with life tasks so that the dead ones got neglected.
@kenwongsa5273 Thank you for that helpful information. What you said about the superstitions really seems to be true. We believe this is another reason. Why Thai people are so peaceful. Crime is so much less than in our country too.
19:40 the place you have been there is kind of graveyard.Charnel house.
Thank you. It was so beautiful. Thailand honors everything and everyone so well.
Another cool temple , you probably couldnt catch a fish in that pond 🤣🤣🤣 they know how to do temples in Thailand deff the best so far , crazy yall can eat all day for 5.00
Agreed. You can't walk 2 feet without stepping into a temple there. Yeah. Eating all day for a few bucks has been such a breath of fresh air from our rice and beans budget diet back home . It's insane!
Wow yummy yummy , you like eat
Ooh yeah. Thai food is so good.
18:08, there are cemetery area . Some Thai people will build this in order to keep bone/ ash of their family who pass away .
Thank you for that information. What a beautiful way to honor the dead.
Bam Bam is riding a small dragon.
🤣
I think the fish are tilapia, an introduced species from Africa. They are famous for fish cultivation in Thailand.
You know, I think you're right. They did look like tilapia! Thank you.
I was looking that up I think you are 100% correct, they look like Nile tilapia
Eating grilled chicken or pork skewer in Thailand, it would be better with sticky rice because 1) not too salty or spicy 2) make you full longer. Let's try skewer with sticky rice!
Sticky rice is good with everything. We should have gotten some this day. Might have helped with all the mess too- soaking all the sauces up.

สวัสดีครับ❤❤
Waiting for your clip for a very long time. I miss you all so much. I have a question that I'd like you to answer. Want to know why when you come to Thailand you don't explore Bangkok enough before leaving the provinces? And you go to places that few people know about. Or do you really dislike crowded places?😅
Thank you so much for watching our Adventures and we're so glad you enjoy them. As you watch more of us you will soon find out we do not like big crowds and prefer finding the off the beaten path places. The things and places other youtubers do not show. We will be back to Bangkok for more filming though.
@@TheAdventureCloset What I am trying to convey to you both is that you should visit Bangkok more before heading out to less visited places. Because if you notice the views when you first come to Bangkok are very high. So you should think about it and come back and do more Bangkok content because there is so much waiting for you to experience and you will get to know what Thailand is like. and travel matters If you come to Bangkok or anywhere, you should have the glab app, whether traveling or ordering food. It's very comfortable.💕✌🏻
Pigs as wild hogs have tusks.
One of the best VDOs I've watched so far. It's really a bad design for those two of the most revered Buddhist masters in Thailand, Somdet To and Luang-poo Tuad. Again at Wat Khao Daeng (Red Hill Temple) the giant Buddha's face is so ugly. It's definitely a work of some amateurs. The statue of a female with broken tail is a 'murmade' and that what you called 'Bam Bam', riding a green creature, half dragon half horse, is actually a boy called "Smut-saa-corn", they're two of the most welknown figures in Thai literature "Phra Abhai-manee". Those rows of shrines, shaped like small pagodas in that temple are where the villagers or the devotees who supported the temple, enshrine the pieces of bones remaining after the bodies of their beloved ones such as father, mother, grandparents ect being cremated and when it's special occasion like Songkran; Thai New Year(13-15/16 April) they'll come and put some flowers or sprinkle fragranted water to the shrine to show their respect to those departed ones. I think while you both were exploring and filming these shrines, some of the spirits (or ghosts) stood watching and waving their hands to you guys.
How interesting! Thank you for such a thorough explanation we can all learn from. There is so much symbolism behind everything in Thailand and I'm afraid we miss most of it.

ไก่ย่าง หมูย่าง คนไทยกินกับข้าวเหนียว
คราวหน้าเราจะได้ข้าวเหนียว ขอบคุณ!
They put ashes in there.
Makes sense. It did look like little urns were inside some with glass coverings. Thank you.
Loved the wild "maybe Koi" they acted like the ones when I lived with my sister & BIL, they could hear my footsteps well before I got to the pond & were expecting to be fed! Had to laugh at Liz's wild boar... very spoiled pigs if ya ask me. I'm going to try & Google the huge broken apart statue, my curiosity is totally piqued! LOVED the cemetery, I was pretty sure about those, the more modern times ones are so cared for & many looked forgotten by time just like most older cemeteries here. Food prices here are for sure going to be sticker shock when you are home. $23 is nothing new for 2 hamburgers or 2 burritos I get here.
Definitely spoiled pigs! Haha. I think we found the culprit too. Yes, the sticker shock is crazy. Not sure we can be in the states too long if we want to keep traveling.
