  • As you may know, I’m a big advocate for the MIGHTY Y62 Nissan Patrol and my TH-cam channel is pretty much based on this vehicle. However, I find myself in between ownership of a Y62 and am driving a NP300 instead. I’ve never taken this car off road so this will be a good test to see if it can keep up with the big boys on the tracks. Check out episode 1

Ah fond memories of 'Loveday Mud' and every time being under my car for the next 5 years finding bits of it falling onto my face to remind me of the fun

Apparently you can do some wiring to make the traction control still work while you have the locker engaged.

Hey great videos . How do you go with insurance with 4 inch lift? Did you have to get engineer to pass . You are only allowed 2 inch lift total with tyres and suspension

Y62 has poor ramp over angle. The previous GU are better off roaders. Put in a front locker to aid the factory lsd and you have a much better off roader without a lift kit.
Independent suspension setup for comfort and only good for dakar rallies. Solid axles are always better for ruts.
