This is a great review. Thank you. I have been watching tons of exway wave videos because i ordered over a month ago and they have delayed the shipping to Sep 21st. This video was great to satisfy some of my impatience.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I had the battery falling out issue and had it swapped over, not happened since. If I get time I might open one of the packs and put the vtc6 cells in it
Thanks man, the trip was cool. From the previous fall I broke the right shoulder ligaments. It will take another 1 month at least to heal. People, wear protective gear at all time. Recovery is painful....Wave is an awesome little board. Perfect for traveling or up to 10 miles commutes.
Hey, I was wondering if you possibly would knew why my Exway esc says to make sure they're both on: error message? I didn't even know that the Exway Wave had two Esc until this error message. TY love the video Btw
Whats the max Wattage for a battery to be carry on an airplane? You mentioned 120-140 W for international flights so that would be almost 4Ah battery on a 10s board right?
@@ElectricVehicleSpace well yeah with that inconspicuous board I can understand no one would care. But try flying abroad with a Baja board or something comparable to that size that may catch their sights!
4:38 I think that the prototype had ESC in the baseplate of the rear truck. Did they ended up changing it? I know that it received some negative feedback.
Hey I’ve been going nuts trying to find your contact info I just purchased a new Goped Hoverboard and you seem to be the perfect guy in NYC to help me take it to the next level. Would you be interested in doing a Hoverboard build?
@@witachapinamk1507 the battery was discharged during travel and removed from the board. No one even asked me about the board or the battery. If that would of been an issues I would leave it at the airport.

its an awesome board. I like the size, power and swappable battery. traveling is easy with Wave.
I've had one about a year now and love it. I ride around some days after work.
I have a mellow, which is a few years old. The battery is also removable and I haven't had any issues. Always take the battery onboard :-)
Mellow is a great product but they had issues with the battery falling out. I get way better performance with Wave VS Mellow.

I love the shot of the skateboard @ 3:27
360 cam. TY
Crazy bubble
It's great that this Exway Wave uses a 6ah battery, just like the Exway Flex model - only swappable.
i have not even think of checking that. Nice observation.
YO! Props on the dope jam all the way at the end!

That's a pic I took of my flex(sans the graphic) at 5:38 Lmao...Already sold it.
cool picture!
Excellent review! 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Did the board come with the headlights or did you have to buy them ?
came with lights
@@ElectricVehicleSpace dooope I thought I would have to buy them. Haha thanks man!
@@morgulr3420 my pleasure
Nice review, this board is amazing
It really is! Thanks for the comment. They have atlas coming soon. Check that video.

I think the exway pack is 208wh but the reason of the video is that no one even asked me about the battery or the eboard.

I have to follow up and double check.
I like the design but no waterproof turned me off, so I am going for h20 mini!!!
What are the best wheels for this?
there are so many options now
what is the topspeed with this little boy on a flat road?
i forgot the number but its fast. Scary fast on that short deck.
I thought the esc was in the truck base? You said it's in the battery.
I haven't opened but there is no room in the baseplate. I think it is in the battery. I have to open and take a look.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I just confirmed on the Exway website. It's integrated in the base of the truck.
you know how to do a review my man
TY
do you know the wheelbase? I can't find this information anywhere!
the deck is 30 inches so I assume somewhere between 22 to 24 inches.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace thank you!
I think it’s 20 cells not 24?

we can do a diy project.
Good review! I still prefer non electric bike. :)
Fair enough!
There must be something wrong with you then lol ........ this is way more portable and a lot more fun ! :-)
@@88Nikoli So true. Portability is key!!!

So basically lie about the battery ? Good thanks
lie about what? I post exactly what the board does, no bull shit.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace he meant during the airport I think
