Great review! When upgrading to the Cloudwheels, use only the 105mm size with the Exway Wave. DO NOT install the 120mm Cloudwheels, which will jam against the deck on the slightest banking causing dangerous “wheel bite.” Exway now sells a 105mm Cloudwheels kit using the 36T hubs (with 6 pins), so you do not have to swap to the 44T hubs and longer belts which (as a combo) have been found to have clearance problems, with the steeper angle on the belt grinding against the motor covers.
Gerat Review for a great board. I have already over 1200km travelled or Wave-boarded on my commute.. but on the Hub. They are quiet and free-rolling, so you can use it as a normal skate (depending you law). Disovered so many nice walk-cycle path around my city that I never knew Now travel the whole 13 km per way on the board. Lights are awesome. At such a low angle small uneven things really throws shadows and turning it on leaves people flabbergasted. Brakelight also very useful (but really only visible in low light).
could you share how to install the cloud wheels on the exway wave. I know I need to remove the plastic, after that have no clue what else to do. Thank you for your help

Hi all,
A noob question from me.
Can the exway wave brake light be turned off? I'd rather not draw attention to myself.
Thanks
Yes. Can do it from the app.
