Love that Kreg Jig. I've built cabinets both ways -- with and without. I couldn't believe how fast my first cabinet went together with the jig. Love your plans. Thanks.
I love watching your videos of you and your family supporting each other. I’m 61 and I haven’t built anything yet. But, I’ve been encouraged from watching Jacob/Ana for a while. I’ll be starting by DIY-ing and redesigning my apartment this winter. Your vids helped me believe I can do it. Thanks!
Very nice little piece, Ana. I appreciate your straightforward approach to woodworking and that you're always looking for the simplest/easiest method to achieve the result. Thanks for all the helpful tips.
Beautiful little girl! ALL THE KIDS ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU GUYS ARE SO BLESSED TO LIVE IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. YOU ARE BLESSED. its so lovely to see such a beautiful family
I love watching your videos of you and your family supporting each other. I haven't built anything yet. But I've been encouraged from watching Jacob/Anna learn, share and improve. I'll be starting by DIY-ing the design in my apartment this winter. Thanks for sharing!
One of the things I like about Alaska is they have Hunt by Proxy. That's where someone who is elderly or handicapped and can't hunt for themselves can have someone go on the hunt for them & bring back the meat so they can have food in their freezer too! Great job on the nightstands Ana!
Anna and Jacob your videos are always uplifting, educational, provide your audience with breathtaking landscapes, all the while you both are so busy. Your an amazing power couple!
Love love love that you are so generous to put out these plans! My husband made the bed for me a few years ago. Now he can get on the end tables! Thank you so much!
Your family has an amazingly full life. And it's great of you to comment on how much work it involves because many people hear "going hunting" and think it's a vacation, and we tend to romanticize woodworking as an art, which it is. You are a very talented and committed couple.
I've never liked the idea of hunting purely for fun, but hunting to eat is fine and I can even imagine doing so myself. I love the way Anna built those two night-stands, different in detail but identical in style so they look like a proper set. That makes for a more visually interesting result when they are in the room, but with minimal effort. A great touch.
Wow, divide and conquer! You two are incredibly productive and a great team in providing for your family and leading a deeply satisfying life. Thanks so much for the inspiration and for always sharing your plans.
Always built to perfection yet functional, beautiful! I identify with you, I don’t want to buy furniture I want to build! I enjoy the challenge and it keeps me fit physically and emotionally
Beautiful nightstand, beautiful family and beautiful nature. You are special, on a very positive way and living on a special place, remember to enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your journey and God bless you and your family
I love it! You two make it look so easy! Congratulations, Jacob, on the successful harvest! And Ana, I love how the guest room is coming together. Your designs are awesome. Thank you for making them available. You guys are terrific!
Thank you Ana! Exactly what I needed to hide my husband's c-pap machine! Love the beginning of the video. Hoping to get trained/licensed so that I can hunt here in the next year or two.
Love the new intro and I always love getting a peek into your family’s life in Alaska. I want to visit there one day. Ana - I think the nightstand with the door is my favorite too.
Love the room, great job Ana. I absolutely love the front yard, great call on that one. Congrats Jacob on the hunt. New intro, woodworking, hunting, kids playing....taking care of a new baby... you guys are living life! Thanks so much for sharing it with us. :)
I loved when you made the 1st night stand/drw. Now I love the THIS one/door/shelf. BOTH are AMAZING!! Blessed with full freezer. It is getting BEAUTIFUL up there this time of year. Your front yard has come along nicely. Little one is growing so fast!! She's BEAUTIFUL!! 💞 I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your family with me!! ❤🍁🍂🍃🌾🌻🌰
I love this channel. You guys are so nice to share your lives with everyone. Thank you so much!! I hope one day I will get to come and visit Alaska and see all of its beauty. Also, I saw where you are going to be a speaker at Workbench Con in Atlanta in February. I hope I get to com and hear your talk. Greg Bham, AL
Thanks for you video. I look forward to it every Monday. We are in the process of redoing one of our bathrooms. Will be using a few of your plans...thanks so much for sharing them all with us.
Ana may God continue to bless you and your family. Loved your two night stands. I would agree that the night stand with the door is my favorite as well. 🤗 Beautiful scenic views as well. Thanks for sharing your plans. Will attempt the one with the door. To be continued....😉
Incredible photography and scenery and a wonderful lifestyle. Ana, you kept saying we built the nightstand, it looked like you built it. LOL I know Jacob helped on the other one.
WOW, those nightstands look awesome! My daddy used to have a little garage shop and built us different pieces (my desk) of furniture. He has been with the L-rd for 35 years, but now watching you I would love to learn to use the power tools (the ones you showed were sooo interesting), and build some furniture too. I hope to do that when the opportunity comes up. I LOVE to paint - everything, and whenever I can I do. Years ago my hubbs #1 (deceased in 2008) used to hunt and we lived in MT. I was always invited to go along, but I declined the offer - I could never do that part of the hunt. I did however, help with the meat cleaning, and wrapping in paper for the freezer. I did not like the smell of the blood. I do understand and respect the hunter and the harvest, but not my thing, and now I am vegan anyway. ;) Thank you for your show, and G-d bless all y'all!
Your guest room looks awesome! Your guests will love coming to visit you. Congratulations on a successful moose harvest. My first cousin lives in Alaska and he loves to hunt and eat moose too. Your view is gorgeous.
Great job, Ana. You are very talented. And you sure do like to paint stuff gray! : ) But of course it is all gorgeous. Thanks for sharing another great video. Keep up the hard work. ATB : )
I love that little night stand! I've been wanting a double cupboard similar to that to hide a kitty box in for my fosters. My friend found one second hand and cut a upside down U door in the end which is hidden by proximity to the wall. She opens the double doors to clean it out, but otherwise, you can't see it and there's no smell.
Love how these videos go back and forth, both of you doing important stuff to help the family. Great stuff guys! Oh and if you need my address to send a few moose steaks, just let me know. :)
I really admire (and envy!) their way of life. Although I would never ever hunt myself, I can totally see the point of hunting for food (as opposed to hunting for sport) and how it's way better than buying mass produced meat to feed a family.
Hate to really see you guys go at the end of every video. I just wish it could keep rolling. Really love the ton of work you do. Awesome job Anna & Jacob.
Love guys! love the color & will use it too! thank you for your generous share and the plans too! WOW......xo greets from HOT HOT HOT FL., I want to experience there!
I've followed you forever on your website and I gotta say, I love the feel of your videos. I'm so glad I discovered TH-cam this year for reals lol. You're kind of living my dream life... Except for the moose hunting part. 😀😂
Awesome job you two! Beautiful home and a freezer filled. You are a perfect example of how we are to help each other and the reward for doing so. God bless
Hi Ana, I live in Tijuana Mexico and I love everything you do, my husband and I have been getting some tools since we both love DIY and woodworking, we have even made the awesome farmhouse bed , Thank you for sharing your beautiful family life with us. I was wondering if there are any tips you can share on where to begin designing my own home, maybe online tools I could use?, I love an open concept and the beam work although my design would be on a much smaller scale :). I'm not sure where to start, thank you again.
thanks for sharing Ana love the bedside cabinets and also thanks for sharing the moose hunt with us. just curious how many trips to the boat they it take to bring back all that meat from where you took it down ?
Hey! have I missed something here? Your lawn is green already?!! I thougt that had to be done next spring! Great job and great videos as always! Best autumn greetings
Hi anna, i live in Pennsylvania. Our house os 2500sq with no central air. Humidity can be unbearable to say the least at times. I have been a long time fan. You have a lovely family. Your plans on your website for a farmhouse kitchen table uses pocket screws to join the wood. Im worried about wood expanding & contracting due to our westher here in the east coast & that our house isnt kept at the same temperature. Im guessing in Alaska you may not have this issue. Would love to try your project in my own home. We are trying to build a 9'-10' table. Thank you in advance from the Smith family. Have you guys ever thought of doing a q&a?
I love how you side drill those screws in, I think you called it a 'pocket hole screw' - did you pre-drill these yourselves? Is there a special tool for that?
Can’t wait to see the lamps you build- diy lamp wiring is a cinch! Should we assume one will be wood and the other black industrial pipe or will both be mixed media? I looked up diy wood /wooden mosaic art and found another solution for last week’s scrap wood AND odds and ends wood stains! Now I’m excited!
Love that Kreg Jig. I've built cabinets both ways -- with and without. I couldn't believe how fast my first cabinet went together with the jig. Love your plans. Thanks.

So glad you are back to finding some time for woodworking again. That's my favorite part. Ana's rocks.
Very nice little piece, Ana. I appreciate your straightforward approach to woodworking and that you're always looking for the simplest/easiest method to achieve the result. Thanks for all the helpful tips.
Thank you very much, I appreciate that!

Do you have any idea how long a moose of that size will last for a family of their size? Just curious 😊
our family eats about one moose a year (and also about 40 salmon)
I agree, this is a great program! Thank you!
Ana White - Ahhh, wild caught salmon - so much better than the farmed ones : )
Anna and Jacob your videos are always uplifting, educational, provide your audience with breathtaking landscapes, all the while you both are so busy. Your an amazing power couple!

Good job Jacob..Definitely got that right 5 min of excitement, hours of work after...not to mention the pre hunt stuff too.
Always built to perfection yet functional, beautiful! I identify with you, I don’t want to buy furniture I want to build! I enjoy the challenge and it keeps me fit physically and emotionally
Alaska is so beautiful thanks for showing that part to us. Love it. Beautiful furniture as always.
Fantastic video of the hunt and nightstand builds! Keep up the great work on these videos, I look forward to watching every week.
Thank you Rob!
Beautiful nightstand, beautiful family and beautiful nature. You are special, on a very positive way and living on a special place, remember to enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your journey and God bless you and your family

Great project. Can't wait to make one. You live in such a beautiful place!!!
I love it! You two make it look so easy! Congratulations, Jacob, on the successful harvest! And Ana, I love how the guest room is coming together. Your designs are awesome. Thank you for making them available. You guys are terrific!

Those look great and I love the color you chose for them.

Best luck to you!
I like hunting. It's food on the table. Great nightstand. Thank you for the plans!
Awesome job 👍👍
The house looks fantastic. Great guest bedroom (hint hint Lol). How many Moose can a person take per year? Down here it’s done by lottery.
thanks for sharing Ana love the bedside cabinets and also thanks for sharing the moose hunt with us. just curious how many trips to the boat they it take to bring back all that meat from where you took it down ?
Hey! have I missed something here? Your lawn is green already?!! I thougt that had to be done next spring! Great job and great videos as always! Best autumn greetings
I had the volume up, and when he started calling for the moose, my great Danes flipped out and started running around howling...lol

Yakutat is a beautiful place!
I like your new intro! :)
I love watching your videos. How did you learn to do woodworking?
Nice hunt !

I love how you side drill those screws in, I think you called it a 'pocket hole screw' - did you pre-drill these yourselves? Is there a special tool for that?
What program do you use to make your plans? Also, I absolutely love your projects. Did you do a video build on the master bathroom vanity?
