As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement th-cam.com/users/postUgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!
I can seriously see 100 different uses for this piece. I'd love to see some of the fail projects though. Like a blooper reel---and maybe us readers will think of ways to fix it
Happy birthday Ana! You have the best designs ever! Watching your channel has made such a difference in my life that I'm building furniture for a living now! Thank you.
Twin bed for our tiny living room it is. Thank you so much for this very easy idea. I think my partner and i could build this even without powertools. And oooh Happy Birthday Anna. May God shower you with even morw blessings 😊😊😊
I've spent hours and hours looking at designs and came across yours. This is by far the best bed chair i have seen. Simple is beautiful and this is an excellent example of fantastic design. Well done.
they would make great couches, lined up for places like dorm sleeping in the cabin....and if the cushions tend to slip, either velcro or 'stair' strips on the slats will help.
Great idea thanks. With lighter timber, you could turn a sofa into a queen size bed too. Optionally, yoy could also round over and upholster the arm rests without upsetting the functionality
Happy Birthday! I have a suggestion. If you dropped the slats down in the frame an inch or so, you wouldn't be losing much chair depth, but you would have less issues with the short mattress ends falling off as you toss and turn. Just a thought. :)
Happy Birthday Ana , hope you enjoy your day LOVE YOU even if I dont know you in person, but follow your videos , wait for them every week, love your family , love the strong woman you are and love that you know to do things that in the past was only for men that is so AMAZING
I just noticed I always have a smile when I watch your family and great projects on your videos. A great bed/chair design - very well done. AND a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Actually I can also identify with doing a project like this on your special day. Bravo.
My birthday was on the 3rd and I asked to spend it quilting on my Longarm quilting machine!!! I totally understanding wanting time to enjoy doing whatever it is you enjoy!!! Happy Birthday!!!
Hi Ana, I am pleased to see you and your family again as I got the pleasure of watching you all build your home and it is beautiful! This project is very close to my heart and I am glad to pleasantly stumble into your video this morning. May God continue to bless you and your family with these increases, awesome! Johnny in Dallas, TX
Build 2 chairs and create the capacity to clamp/dowel/connect them together side by side and you would have a king size bed when needed. Put back as chairs when you don't. That's would I am thinking about for a flex guest room/game room for my nephews
Happy Birthday to a very special lady. We love following your family adventures and I have to agree I can't think of anything more fun than building a new project. Have a wonderful day.
There’s a tow strap that’s about 12 feet or so. Ugly yellow, but could dye it. Menards has it 10-20 dollars. That webbing is someplace, upholstery standby. Would come on a bolt or roll probably.
My son just moved to alaska... Im surprising him to move there. So im glad i found ur channel. Cause im selling everything and moving. Thanks great project
Happy Birthday Ana, great idea, what a beautiful view you guys have, beautiful home and beautiful family. You guys are truly blessed and are a blessing.
Great idea. My father in-law actually made a double bed for my wife. It’s amazing too and just like yours, underneath the head of the bed was storage with two drawers going down each side of the bed. It’s very heavy too but we will never get rid of it. It still solid as after more than 20 years
Happy birthday Ana! My husband and I just bought our first house and I am making a list of projects to fill it. This one just made the cut. Thank you for sharing. Lots of love coming your way. 💞
Ana? Have you ever taken a few minutes to estimate how much money you saved by making your own furniture? This will not take into account the extra savings on the many pieces you have custom made for specific areas or uses, but I think it would be worthwhile for some of your viewers on the fence about trying some of your projects....I love the convertible chair and I hope your birthday was great..... thanks for this project. BTW....treated myself to the Kreg jig you are using today....I had been using a small, portable version for years, but decided to splurge.
These long screws are awfully expensive :( But you don't built your furniture to save money but to have exactly the furniture you want to have. Well, me at last.
Thank YOU! My project this weekend. Super excited. Building it for my 13 yo stepson's room which is small. This way he can use it as a chair when playing his video games and then turn it into a bed
Ana you rock. I was just looking for a design to make my bed that would transform into a chair and with space to put away my Duvet and there you go making it and so easily too. Thank you. I hope you had an amazing time on your birthday x
Very creative and simple. Perhaps one version could have rounded ends on the front top of chair for comfort and visually reduce the bulk look ... maybe a six inch radius. I watch all of your videos. Thanks
This is a great design. I would love to see the flip over on more designs. I’ve been looking for one to make a sofa version. This could be a good jumping off point for that. Would love to see your expertise on a sofa version.
A very happy birthday to you Ana🎂. You go and enjoy your lovely family and blow some candles. Thanks for an awesome channel. Maggie all the way from New Zealand
Happy Belated Birthday Mrs. Ana! I hope you had a wonderful celebration! I love the sleeper chair, such a great idea. Thank you and Jacob for sharing your talents with us. You guys never fail to inspire us!
Definitely want to build one of these! Will probably cut a nice curved arm piece (like a pew bench) to give it it less of a boxy look. Thanks for another awesome design Ana! I love everything you put out!
HolleWood Furniture Maybe like a chair where it starts out farther out but rounded, curves in and works back out again. You don’t want to take away too much. That would reduce structural integrity.
@@lauriemashek5419 yeah that would look nice as well. I was thinking of keeping the same height at the back corner and then create the arm rest, then leaving a few inches of materials to rest against the bottom frame when flipped. As long as you keep the back corner at the same height it should have enough strength.
Happy birthday Ana! I hope you had a great celebration and enjoyed the yummy cake Grace made for you. You did a great build this week. Now grab Jacob, pour some wine, and enjoy your birthday celebration.
I like the idea. Yet, it appears to be VERY heavy, and something you wouldn't want to open up very often. Even so, your creativity is inspiring! Thanks for sharing your ideas! Hope your birthday was a happy and healthy one! (and you appear to have a loving and happy family! sweet little baby, especially!)
le th I am going to use for the sides very light redwood fence lumber sold at Lowe’s or any lumber yard. They measure 1 and 5/8”by 6”. I use this very light wood for much construction on my van. Very light and nice rustic look.
Fantastic job!! I came across this video while visiting your web site. I made the outdoor couch/sectional. I have one more piece to make but the first half is amazing. I stained it early American and up cycled the cushions off my old oversized otter man and couch. And what also made it cool is I found some great fabric on sale for half off. Anyway. You have a lovely family and home and thank you for not making me feel weird that I like to build and tinker around too. ❤️
Awesome! I would just clip those cautious together or zip it so it would not move when I'm sleeping and moving my legs... Thank you very much. May God bless you with everything you need right now.
Just another of the viewing public, sitting here awed and amazed at the resourcefulness of the little -old- lady from Alaska. 👵 😁😁😁 p.s. Happy Birthday 👍😁🎂
Fantastic for a dual purpose project that’s cozy ! You could fit a small child and an adult in this chair for a story time then pop it out for the child to take a nap! Great build for approximately 100 dollars invested for materials! Blessings!💕
Hun, if one of your friends or family can sow, ask them to metre those corners of the pillow covers, it will be the final step to make the covers proffessional, and its perfect! You can be so proud of your work, and happy birthday, hope there are many more that you can share with your loved ones
You NEVER fail to amaze me! I luv, LUV, LOVE this design! I may try this in 3/4 plywood for my RV. Extra bedding and a wide chair to cozy up in front of the TV!
Happy Birthday Ana, even if it is late! I l love your projects! I built some in the past, and my grand-children loved them! Me too! Your K-cups holder drawer will be my next fun project! Thank you!
Happy b day Anna... Your passion with projects and love of life is SO inspiring! Not to mention, you are so humble. You are blessed to have an amazing husband and family as well. God bless you guys! Thank you.
This is an AMAZING IDEA! Just bought a Mini mini lol school bus. DEFINITELY going to make this, only a loveseat version! Please don't scrap your ideas, we might LOVE THEM!! SO APPRECIATE YOU & YOUR FAMILY! AND FOR SHARING! 🥳🤗😁😅🥳
Happy Birthday Ana...I hope you are having a great day. I just love your video's and look forward to seeing them each week. God bless you and your beautiful family.
Awwh Everly’s laugh is adorable. Got to admit I love the noises babies make (well, minus the screaming their heads off and nothing will settle them!) I agree... that wo or many heads are better than one.
Happy birthday Ana! You have the best designs ever! Watching your channel has made such a difference in my life that I'm building furniture for a living now! Thank you.
This chair/bed would be great in a tiny house!
a giant immobile chair in a tiny house? interesting.
@@joannecarroll5504 Just put lockable wheels on it.:)
Way too heavy and hugh! Murphy beds are best for THOW.
My thoughts exactly
@@joannecarroll5504 you can use it multiple ways, a win in my book.
Twin bed for our tiny living room it is. Thank you so much for this very easy idea. I think my partner and i could build this even without powertools. And oooh Happy Birthday Anna. May God shower you with even morw blessings 😊😊😊
I love multi purpose furniture. This is definitely a design to revisit in the future.
Happy birthday Ana. You need your own TV Show 👍
Been thinking that all year since I found Ana’s TH-cam! Xo
Great idea thanks. With lighter timber, you could turn a sofa into a queen size bed too. Optionally, yoy could also round over and upholster the arm rests without upsetting the functionality
Love that it has somewhere to store the bedding for it. Makes it practical.
Thanks, glad you like it!
Philippines here... Thanks Ana for sharing this project... This is sure suited in our tiny house... God bless you and your family... Keep safe

I share in your sentiment.....always a big smile when watching a White family video.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Thank you for including the glimpses into your family.
The chair project looks really good.
Thank you so much!
Happy Birthday! Your face genuinely lit up when mentioning you wanted to build something in the garage. Priceless.
Addicted ... can’t deny that! Thank you!

Happy Birthday! I agree with you. Nothing like spending the day in your own garage, doing what you love.
Lovely idea!! I would like to make it but In a "queen size"..🤩🤩❤❤
that would be a great love seat.
This is my thought as well
But it would break because of the weight.
Build 2 chairs and create the capacity to clamp/dowel/connect them together side by side and you would have a king size bed when needed. Put back as chairs when you don't. That's would I am thinking about for a flex guest room/game room for my nephews

Happy Birthday Ana! You have a wonderful family, a true blessing
Really enjoyed this older video
And it was nice to see your family be a part of it... you're very good at what you do !!!
Thank you very much!
Happy Birthday! Your baby is ADORABLE! God bless all of you!
What a gem. Happy Belated Birthday Ana.
Weave seatbelt strapping in place of wood slats to make lighter.
Good idea. How do you secure the seat belt strapping?
There’s a tow strap that’s about 12 feet or so. Ugly yellow, but could dye it. Menards has it 10-20 dollars.
That webbing is someplace, upholstery standby. Would come on a bolt or roll probably.
This is a good solution
Sorry about the thumb down was wondering about the weight of this chair esp if used in a van conversion.
love this idea for a dual use furniture piece... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Ana
Hands down!! This is the best project I’ve seen so far!
Thanks!

Happy birthday, Ana! Looks like you had a wonderful "build" day with your husband and then carrot cake to top it off baked by your daughter!
Happy B-Day Ana! You folks have the best Disney Land outside your front door ... Great idea for the chair/bed...
Those are some Beautiful - Snow Capped - Mountains! Happy Birthday!

Great project. You single handled solved every Van Dweller problem on having a couch/bed. Just a little tweaks on lighter material and Boom.
Thanks for the love. Take a peak into Van Dwell'. With your imagination. You'll help. I've started looking into lighter material for your couch/bed. ❤
Happy Birthday! I know as a big guy I can tell you that is just the right size chair ! Good stuff!
That’s awesome! Probably would have recessed the bed slates myself so the cushions don’t fall off while sleeping. It’s still brilliant!
A very happy birthday to you Ana🎂. You go and enjoy your lovely family and blow some candles. Thanks for an awesome channel. Maggie all the way from New Zealand

I love it , but the one thing that has me hooked is your family God bless you
I would love this in a queen size couch/love seat! It would be perfect for our guest room
Absolutely beautiful scenery in all y’all’s videos! Y’all make beautiful things! Thank y’all for sharing, And absolutely beautiful family!

Great build! Happy birthday, Ana!
That's a really nice build ! Thumbs up and the baby is sooooo cute. Have a great SUNDAY.
I’ve seen variations of this exact same design on amazon, nice to see one that I could build myself if I wanted to.
Thanks for the visit!

Happy birthday, Ana! Great project in every way: time needed, money invested, usefulness, and team bonding!
Happy Birthday, Anna! The chair is a great idea!
The bed look great and happy birthday and that baby is getting so big
Oh I love this!!! I can totally see this in a farmhouse lounge. That’s what I would love to see and build but I would never be able to work out a plan
Happy Birthday Anna! You make building so much fun through your videos.
Thank you 🤗

Happy birthday, Anna!!!🎈🎂🎉
