A small tip from my side... You can remove the background of a photo online using bgremover, for sharp and clean cut and u can use it on your editing using layering

Instead of doing this, just blur the entire image and then edit and remove the blur from the leaf part.. Double exposure is not needed.

Snapseed is best photo editors I have seen....and u have seen so many edited pics are some ash color for ground,yellow color for green trees etc they can be easily edited in pics art app(in option Effects>color replacement or colorSplash option something else beside color replacement option)
I didn't understand why don't u use
1)Lens blur for original pic
2)then remove the blue effect on leaves using view edits option
Removing total plant in the first step is not necessary I think..
