- In this Snapseed tutorial, I use a bunch of selective masking with the Curves tool to convert a dull mobile captured image to a very dramatic look. Other than the Curves, Selective filters and Dodge and Burning were used too. This shows how powerful the Snapseed app can be.

NavEdits, you're a total ninja on Snapseed and an inspiration. Very well done.
This shows that a person with an eye for art can utilize a somewhat limited tool and create beauty. Give someone Photoshop with all sorts of plugin, even if the person knows how to technically use the tool, without the same artistry, the result won't be half as good as this one.
I donwloaded Photoshop and thought it'll be easy to use but I couldn't figure what tool would do what and then uninstalled it 😂 Snapseed is much more noob friendly

reality... what is that?...our eyes are only painting a picture for us...what you see is a perception or interpretation of the reality...if an artist and an engineer work together and come up with a gadget... one day perhaps we will be able to see the world like this...the technology is already there...it is just a matter of people collaborating

Priya Agarwal I have tried to edit my IG/FB photos with various iPhone applications and I found that I didn’t achieve the results I wanted. After I watched this video I realized that is just me lacking experience I now know for sure that these applications really are good but I personally didn’t know how to use them :)

This applies a painter’s color and value principles to photos in a much more intense and intricate way than possible in “traditional” photography. It’s like a merging of both art forms. And an excellent tutorial!

Thank you for the way you present how to do this! Most Snapseed tutorials only show them making the selections so fast that you cannot keep up with them, and they explain nothing. There is so much I have not explored in this program, thanks for pointing each step out clearly, so new users like us can understand.

Sir I started interest in photography and editing recently in lock down. I am new and there are many like me .i Suggest u to start tutorials from very basic level explaning eaxh tool of snapseed and lightroom , teaching how toh play with shadows and highlighs and contrast etc.The videos u made are really amazingg but a but complicated for new learners like me .Really looking forward for your videos more
I never realized Snapseed is such an powerful tool...
maybe because I find it easier to edit pictures with Darktable/Lightroom and Gimp/Photoshop on a PC. But amazing what can be done on "just a phone" today.
Lightroom mobile also able to do this but some features are locked out for free users.

If it was like Lightroom and the GUI was better, I would use Snapseed because its more powerful but technical
Lightroom is fast and easy to use, but cant use for advanced editing (on mobile, pc version is better)

I downloaded this ago and im using my Samsung J2 prime phone with 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage,and now it popped out of my recommended again..brought back memories when im still exploring editing.

This is like a mobile alternative of Lightroom without RAW. Easy to use (for me is like Lightroom V2), while being quite powerful. I remember how I published a mobile phone photo edited with Snapseed in DA and it easily beat in popularity my photos taken with my Canon EOS before several months.
This was one of the best mobile edit I've ever seen so far 🤩

Yeahh I was obsessed with this app like 4 years ago,when I play this app at first I was thinking that it was just like a trial mode for a few days cause with all the tools you can use it for free,especially I like the features that able to adjusting in the certain area,for example like I adjusting the shadow area on my photo so it goes along with my other photo in my instagram

I use Snapseed and thought my self a bit , worden with selective changing. But never used the curves tool so far. Because i did not knew you can brush the changes selectively after using the curves. So thanks for this 🤩👌

I started this video on a PC then opened a pic in Snapseed to learn how to edit a pic, after a 3 steps I realised that you have to have an artistic imagination to do this...I can never do this I will keep snapseed for cropping images
