Well, these are cute but I must say the conversation was entertaining. I've never tried syrup with peanut butter on bread but enjoy peanut butter and syrup on my pancakes.
A trick I use for less bulkiest is pul out every fifth page from the book. Because it is sewn in they pull out fairly easily and their partner pulls out very easily. That gives room for pockets and layers.
Some use Frixon pens in Bible Journaling because it doesn’t bleed through. Frixon can be erased because the friction of the process creates heat. But if you leave something with Frixon pen writing in your car in the summer, it will erase.
I work from home and had not only a favorite pen but the SAME pen for several years. This morning I sat down at my desk and it was gone. I frantically searched and still haven’t found it. It threw my whole day off.
Jenome is a really good brand of sewing machines. It’s a heavy duty style machine. I recovered my RV cushions, made top cover, door bar cover and tire cover for our jeep and made my granddaughter Halloween costumes. It’s 20 years old and still going strong!
Babylocks R the BEST in sergers. You will never go wrong with it. I have had every top of the line machine you can purchase and I love Babylock. If you lived closer Maymay I would let you come clean out my sewing room. I have been sewing for 50 yrs and now can no longer do it much.

Love these!!! Choosy moms choose Jif! But Peter Pan works in a pinch. I LOVE Dukes Mayo for sandwiches! But I’ll use Sauers or Bama Mayo for recipes and in potato and chicken salad. Thank you for sharing!! I love ALL the ideas you give us!!!!!!

Grew up on miracle whip, changed to Hellman’s, during pandemic our grocery store here in Ohio could only get Dukes mayonnaise I will never go back to Hellmann’s. Dukes is so much better.
The ONLY syrup for Peanut butter is Golden Eagle. Now I live in CA, every time I go back home I HAVE to go buy 2 Quarts of Golden Eagle syrup. Yummmmm.

If you can’t find the half size books, buy the full size ones on sale for back to school, then take them to an office supply store and have them cut in half.
I made these, just cutting a 12 x 12 in half, to 6 x 12. Then I wrapped the 12 inches over the cover and added a pocket to hide where rhere wasnt enough paper on the inside cover.
I hope this wasnt interpreted as criticism. If anything, I was dogging MYSELF because my version was so much less than Maymay's. Having had my work criticized, I realized that this may have seemed critical. Not at all. Maymay is the Queen!!!!
Frixon pens have an eraser on the end so you can rub out the ink if you have to. I bought mine for doing crosswords, but now I use the pen at work because they are really nice to write with
King Syrup is still available in my area of PA. But it did leave for a while and came back. Only Dukes Mayo! I'm not picky on my peanut butter, but hated when my kids loved the (so gross) Goober peanut butter and grape jelly mix, but then they wanted peanut butter and fluff sandwiches. Cute note pads! I have been lurking in the background for over a year and I have been waiting for a chance to make these altered half-composition books so I was very excited for this tutorial! However, I am afraid I jumped the gun on my first attempt at a project and most of my new paper pack got all messed up. I should have known better than to start cutting paper before I watched the entire video first to see any adjustments you made. I may attempt one of your beautiful projects again after I receive my next Social Security check, but I will watch the entire video first. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us. ~~kay~~
Maymay! You are driving me crazy on this one! I am so confused about the cutting now. I feel sorry for you but oh! my! May I suggest that you put a post it note in the center of each piece with the measurements on it. That way with all these cuts you will have a map on the front to keep your measurements correct. And label each piece as A, B, C, etc. You can do it!
Just had a chance to watch this and heard the convo about sergers. I’ve used one for over 30 years! I use it on all fabrics! But the best part is, before you pre wash your fabric, serge the edges to prevent the MESS on the edges!

I use Frixion pen on paper crafts because I can then leave the lines on and sit them out in the car and the lines are gone. I also love it in my notebooks because it helps me feel more confident writing in it.

MayMay the little rubber nub on top of the friction pens is the "eraser" and works like a pencil eraser
