This Ami stuff has opened a new era for you, now you can easily switch to things like hammers, rakes, and other things that are compatible with that quick coupler I am excited to see what will happen in the next few years because of this!
@hey man enjoy your R&R. Good to hear you are almost done. I have a small job i am almost done with. Outside of that not much just setting in the recliner watching yt.
Chris shapes the very world we live in. I'm not a digger driver but in my youth worked sometimes around heavy plant and always had an affinity for the men and women who do so much to restore or make order in this world. And the gushing waters and blazing trees are just the icing on the cake. Long may you dig Chris.
It looks awesome can't wait to see it in the coming videos. I dream of being able to watch you operate the equipment in person. Being disabled I know it's only a dream. Chris you have no idea what your videos really mean to me and I can't express it in words. I live again when I watch you work. Most days are spent in pain taking meds to help keep it bearable. Then I get a notification you have posted a video and for the next few minutes I forget how much I hurt and the things I can no longer do. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless.
I wish you all the best Randy. Having health issues myself with non-stop crippling pain, I know your feelings. Watching Chris digging ponds, or else, with regular, constant precise moves is very soothing and keeps my mind from wondering. Take care, friend !
Randy Carpenter i’m like you I got hurt real bad on my job operated heavy equipment all my life just like Chris are doing and I busted the last two disc in my back and 2010 and since 2012 I have had four back surgeries and I hurt worse now today then what I did when I got hurt the only thing the surgeries prevent it was me for being paralyzed which I think God of that but I also look forward to watching Chris’s videos every day because it helps me get my mind off of my pain
Randy hang in there friend, its not easy dealing with constant pain all the time. I also live with constant chronic pain and as you know it can get the best of us if we cant find something to keep our mind off the pain, love let's dig and the hole community but my favorite is buckin billy ray. The guy just has a amazing outlook on life and its contages . Hope you are well and have a good night.
Blazer02LS they should, Chris been pushing Volvo for years and even now has a personal one, I mean the 210, the 140, then all the 160s, the 220 and the new 220, the 290 and now the 250… he has really helped them put their name out there even more
Hello from Chihuahua Mexico, CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS this product is the work of two professional FACTORY AND USER thank you for sharing this video and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Dude!!! im so happy for ya I'm gettin emotional...what a great company they are to make a LD18 product line for you...nice to know they understand how great you are as a operator and how important you are to us (the viewers) of your channel..thanks man 👍
It is very enjoyable to see an intelligent and creative individual having an actual effect on his tools and not be chastised for being intelligent by his friends, associates, and equipment suppliers. Keep it up young man.
I'm not sure if he did or not. Tyler Caldwell posted they already did. However I agree that new logo Chris has will be his own brand of Excavators before you know it!!! Made in the USA..... I hope he does and I hope he continues to be successful for sure! Plus one to Chris.
@@TheNemosdaddy If things can be super reliable and very easy to work with or modify then cost becomes less of an issue as long as sensible financing is available. Right to repair is one of the biggest arguments in equipment which is coming to a head.
Wow! CHRIS!!! WOW!!!! Good for you, Brother! A product line with a letsdig18 logo! I'm sure I can say that we ALL here are so very happy for you and very proud of you. Congratulations! You've worked hard for this. God bless you. Thank you for sharing the awesome ride!
Very cool video! Congrats on the AMI collaboration- very well deserved. My wife and I own 108 acres in N Idaho. We have a mini excavator, skid steer and a tractor. I’ve really picked up a lot of techniques from you over the years. Thank you.
Congratulations Chris that does definitely show how much you have done for the industry and all those operators who need things this will help you along with so many others you deserve this great job and congratulations and a big thanks to Ami for doing what you needed done and showing that it can be done thank God for American made
Hello Chris, what an exciting part of your life and occupation. In watching the AMI mini commercial, the representative from AMI showed how well they received your own ideas around their manufacturing parts. They must enjoy watching your videos and watching your viewers numbers grow and your relationship with other owner/operators you’ve had on some of your videos. There must be a lot of trust between you and AMI, to have your new logo on their equipment. I am very happy for you on your road to success. Will be waiting for the next video as all of your other followers have said. Please may God Bless you and your family.......Mike
I was going to order this new sweet setup but my wife reminded me i dont have any big equipment to put it on and my push mower isnt really made for a thumb this big! Guess i will just watch you use it for now
lol - as they say " if you dont ask or try you`ll never know " if the Mrs gets mad over the big hole you made, just tell her it`s for the new pool, jacuzzi or foot spa 😂👍
I can't help but have the utmost respect for a company that can recognize and implement a good idea from a customer. That right there is good business, kudos AMI!
Congratulations Chris. This is a awesome compliment. We all appreciate you. I noticed you've gained 70k subscribers since your 250k contest. You deserve it. You can do more with a excavator than anyone I've ever seen. Again......... Congratulations!
Good for you Chris. And good for AMI. It speaks volumes that a manufacturer would actually listen to the customer. That input is invaluable in developing great new products.
AMI is a company that knows how to do business. Any equipment company that will try to sell you expensive equipment and tell you they offer no warranty and blame their incompetence on their employees is nothing but a shyster. That is a very nice setup you designed there congrats!
I would like to thank AMI for making a really really nice bucket and thumb and coupling for Chris. The results of everyone's work is and beautiful bucket and thumb. Can't wait to watch it do whatever work Chris has to do in the future. Love the videos Chris
I just wanted to give you props! No better way to get what you want than to go straight to the designer. Have heard you complain forever about the teeth not meshing on your thumb, well you win. Have enjoyed watching you work for a few years now, keep digging!
Happy for you Chris. I have been watching your videos for several years now. Always enjoy your them. Getting your logo on your designed bucket wow! you earned it for sure.
Man that is cool! That is amazing to see a company get involved like that. You are the ultimate digging/clearing master too Chris. No logging or digging TH-camr does it better in an excavator. I can’t wait to see the videos using this thing. It looks like a monster!

These accolades are well earned. I remember one of Chris's videos in which he said that he never dreamed the channel would attract so many members and such popularity. But I've said it before to others: it's an American pastime (maybe an international pastime) to watch people work. In cities there are plywood walls on sidewalks to protect pedestrians but the walls frequently have eye level cutouts so people can watch the construction. We can learn much by simply watching . . . and nope, I still haven't learned enough to safely operate an excavator . . . but when I win the lotto I'm buying a Volvo excavator for sure.
Congratulations Chris, that's awesome, that bucket an thumb is sweet, I like the progressive link thumb,( LD18 ) just sounds badass, stout bud stout, look forward to seeing that bad boy rip apart trees an everything else, thanks for sharing man.
Congratulations to you on having your LD18 line. The fact that a company like AMI would partner with you speaks volumes about you. I foresee a grading blade about 6 to 8 foot long for when you dredge a pond to pull that last little bit of mud and leave a smooth bottom.

A big congratulations to you sir on this milestone you've created ! I'm speechless to how well everyone from AMI was willing to work with you and let you design the attachment you wanted and more so needed !!! To make sure the bucket, or what ever you have on, when we swap attachments on quick couplers in Norway we do a press check to make sure it is secure. You do that by after puting it on you press the bucket to the ground so you put a small amount of wight on it, that way you are sure the coupler is locked correctly and you dont lose the bucket one someone.
