    • @BosseTub
      @BosseTub 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Around here almost all excavators from 3.5 to 35tons have a tiltrotator. Only small machines 1-2,5tons use tilt only. Why is there such a big difference between Sweden/EU and US with regard to this? Work to be done is the same. Efficiency gains are the same.

    • @xoxo2008oxox
      @xoxo2008oxox 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Hedblom uses that like a 3rd arm! And then also DirtNinja in New Hampsire was first excavator I saw using those tilt-rotation buckets. But not on something like 220 series. That think looks... awkward.

    • @Dolomedesspider

      It's not a "tilt/rotation type bucket". The tiltrotator is an attachment on it's own attached on the stick - meaning; it's has nothing to do with the bucket.
      But on/or under the tiltrotator you can attach a long range of different type of buckets and other tools; Grading bucket (most common used), Cable bucket, A VA-bucket (that's a bucket for sewer pipe graves, profile bucket, Grading beam, pallet forks, A brush to clean up a work site.
      With Engcon EC-Oil (= Oil connections are automaticly attached to the tool, the oil goes through the tiltrotator in a swivel - no hydraulic hoses to attach manually) you can attach hydraulic operated tools with ease like a rotating brush, hydraulic pallet forks, crapple for stones or timber trunks..
      The list could go on for ever.....
      Check up 'Duckgirl86' here on YT to see a skilled girl using a varity of equipment with an tiltrotator.

    Go with rototilt or indexator, here in sweden the customer usually demands it for the jobs, however they do pay a small fee extra for it. But the advantage is that you can also use your old buckets, the disadvantage is that if your about to use heavy force to get a big rock etc (unless you digging around it) up, you may end up breaking it and need a repair, so then we usually end up removing the tool before using heavy force.

    • @uppsalahazzemarkstedt2759

    You need to put electrical 6/2 switching valve into the boom tip to be able to use Thumb and Tilt just by pushing a button. Great bucket for You!

    When you got the quick hitch put on your digger my first thought was "now you just need to get yourself a tilt bucket chris and you'll be set".

    Like how the bucket has the holes in it. Will cut down on suction and allow the dirt to fall out easier, especially if it is wet and muddy.

    Okay....stupid question time!!
    "Do you have the same pulling power on an angle as you would straight?"
    Should make your grading of Ponds a whole lot easier!!😁

    • @micah_lee
      @micah_lee 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just from looking at it, it’s connected the same way at every angle. So it will pull the same strength at each angle.

      Same power but only worry in my book would be the sideward torque on the stick and boom.

    Chris you should have purchased a tilting hitch. Very popular in Australia. Tilt 180deg not 90deg. Also no connect and disconnect bloody hoses. 👍
