Caitlin, I’m glad I finally found you! I have missed seeing you, and spent some time today searching. I found CadyJax …was gone, and got toJaci & Rose. It took awhile to go back and forth, and finally saw a note that you and Jaci had posted a message on IG; that really became a needle in a haystack search. I am not an IG user..and never did find your posted note, but found one place that listed this new channel. I’m sad you girls are no longer together, but understand the travel, etc could have become difficult. I am very happy you are going to continue do a TH-cam….and I’ve watched this first solo. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I love your sweater,and the shawl you are working on, and maybe when I watch your next video, I’ll see a FO! And bravo to you for starting a sweater for James, the yarn and beginning looks fantastic; I’ll watch for your progress. I look forward to whatever you think we might be interested in… just seeing you will be a day brightener. I don’t IG, sooo will miss those posts, but will be eager for each new video. I still am interested in knitting, but have been spending much more time quilting. My daughters love any quilt I make them, and my grands also have come to appreciate my quilts, so I have quilt expectations….and a stash that needs reducing. I think I have enough stash to last quite a while, especially since I now am 81. I know I currently have 15 quilts cut out, 3 in the sewing phase, 3 that need backs and quilting, 3 that need quilting, 6 that need binding and labels, and 3 needing labels….. that is about 30 quilts to work on and gift to the kids. I would guess I have at least 15 more sets of fabrics designated for starting (probably more). So you can see why I don’t knit so much 🤦🏼♀️. I look forward to watching more videos from you. I live in northern California where sweaters knit on size 4 needles or smaller get the most use. Sport and fingering weight yarns are my go to as are cotton and wool blended yarns. James is going to get a beautiful sweater. Pace yourself and remember you love to knit. And when he wears this on hikes and wherever you get to see that beautiful color. As I know from personal experience, knitting in a hot climate can result in a bunch of clothes that remain stuffed away in a drawer much of the year. Recently I’ve taken up fine crochet and am enjoying myself so much. I’m also knitting for my newly acquired doll collection. Glad to see back Caitlin!
