One time Yucko was on the show and Howard said something like "Are comedians just completely broken individuals?" and Artie chimed in with a story that was
"These 2 comedians were going to a show, I'm not going to say their names BECAUSE YOU KNOW ONE OF THEM. Before they left the guy and his wife had something to do real quick so they asked this comedian if he'd watch their 2 year old for like 20 minutes. Once they were done and the guys left, the wife noticed this sort of white substance on the table and thought, like maybe I spilled some salt or something. She tastes it and her tongue goes numb, it's coke. This guy was doing lines of blow a foot away from their 2 year old baby. And here's the kicker, she was a recovering addict and she relapsed and had to go to back to rehab for 8 months"
I can't say with any degree of certainty that that one comedian was Bob Levy, but it 100% was Bob Levy

Ive been to rehab 3 times for heroin and I did it every time more for other people. Once I finally wanted to do it for myself and truly want it is when I finally was able to maintain my sobriety. I had enough bad stuff happen to me because of my addiction which lasted from the age of 20 tillthe age of 31 which is my age now. I finally got sick of being sick and being in the hospital for overdosing and having to have surgery on my arm for abscesses from shooting up. My addiction ruined my life in many ways but Im trying to get it back finally
You got it back the day you knew you were done with heroin.
Nothing is a loss. Us addicts have stresses on us that others don't. Stress provokes growth. You have a whole other skillset you might not even realize yet :D
I used to be a big Howard Stern fan from the beginning of his career. When he went to Sirius radio I was there from the first day and loved the show. When Artie Lange came aboard it made the show even better. The with the prank calls it made it even better. Having the Wack Pack the show got even better. The addition of you it added another another listening pleasure.
Now when Artie Lange was no longer on the show it seemed to me harder to listen Howard and I believe that the show took a hit .
Then when Howard put this lady in charge I think it was the end for me. You could see that Gary was disrespected and no longer was the same and he wasn't on air that much and you could see that the show just wasn't the same.
When she took the Wack Pack off the air I was done . Howard seemed like he was a hypocrite and now kissing the asses of the people that he used to talk negatively about . You could see that Howard was going into a different direction and it was hard to watch and listen to.
I stopped listening to his show now for years and don't miss it at all. I do watch on TH-cam the old shows but from being a big fan of Howard I've lost all respect and will never listen to him live again.
I guess when you become a millionaire you forget where and how you got there. It's like having your best friend turn on you and that's something I can't forgive. He's turned into a snob just like every Hampton's person is in that corrupt town .

Yucko ended up being the most successful guy out of all of them. He's the creator of Paradise PD for Netflix which made him Millions! Before that he wrote Brickleberry for Comedy Central.

I can't count how many times I've heard that same line used and few weeks later they are either dead, in rehab or in jail. I'm a former heroin addict and there's no way I could just have one shot of h and not pick it or the needle back up for a few weeks.

TH-cam has a flawed algorithmic censorship system that will shadowban comments based on certain words, or conjunction of words. You will see in most comment sections nowadays that around 50% of comments end up getting shadowbanned like this, where only the person that made the comment is able to even see it.
I like Bob's personality, and liked him on the Stern show. But I found 7 mins of Bob Levy's live stand up on TH-cam and it was exactly as Artie described it - the broadest, hackiest material imaginable. It's all lame crowd work - shouting the n word and gay slurs at the audience and hack lines like 'why didn't you bring your girlfriend - couldn't you blow her up in time'. Nothing with a scintilla of intelligence or nuance. As much as Artie protested it was a joke, the hack pack comment was clearly serious. Most original comics are sharp - it's no surprised Bob didn't surpass firehouses, except when he was riding Artie's coattails.. The fact he claimed he wrote those terrible old jokes is testament to his stupidity. He seems like a nice guy, but as hacky as they come.

The Daniel Carver roast was great radio. I especially liked when Lisa Lampanelli revealed her latent racism in her exchange with Angry Black at the start of the roast.
