Bullshit! Jackie wanted back on the show and it was already to late. Best he could do was get " the joke hunt" on Howard's channel. I heard the Jackie, Billy and John thing several times. It's called Jackie trying to save face. Jackie is the Pete Best of the radio. Greed.
Jackie set nothing straight. He thought he was pulling a power move and it backfired. Howard would have been successful with ANYONE; Jackie thought he was equally part of the success(he said it many times). He was just wrong. There is no record to set straight. Howard has kept a core group of employees together for decades. No one else has done that on radio EVER. Richard, Sal, JD, Will, Jason, Gary, John Hein, Benjy, Fred. The list goes on and on and on. And yet, angry comment after angry comment about how Howard doesn’t take care of people. That is Jackie or Eric level delusion.
@@miketocci the guy who owns the show, is responsible for all the success, is the single most important part of all of it, and is the reason any of the rest of them make anything? Gee how crazy
Jackie shouldn't have turned down the money and I'm sure he regretted it. Still, Stern spent the next two decades badmouthing Jackie like a little girl just like he does everytime anyone voluntarily leaves the show. He got lucky with Artie. Those two guys, Jackie and Artie, were the best parts of the show. Fred's comedy has always been lame and you could always tell what he had written. Fred's stuff was and is always just so incredibly bad, filled with corny puns and bad puppeteering. The show has been on a steady decline since 2010 and is now completely unlistenable. Howard has turned into a shut in shill for the mainstream who needs every word scripted for him by a staff of over fifty unfunny people.
@@moneymarkmontana7052 No, I don't still listen with any regularity. I don't have to listen to hear about the idiotic things Stern says these days in order to know what the show is all about. A few TH-cam clips here and there and that's plenty for me. I stopped listening around 2015 or 16.
Howard and the fans for the next year after quitting had to listen to Jackie appearing on various radio programs and various publications such as the New York Post Page six where he would give these BS claims regarding how he quit by saying that he was kicked off. In Jackie's warped mind offering to come back after half a year and it being declined is being kicked out. In his warped mind who cares if Greg Fitzsimmons or Adam carolla just signed to do a week's worth. And other comedians have been signed as well to do a week. Who cares if this show can discover some new people. Who cares if Artie has just signed to be full-time. The show is supposed to go pick him up after he dropped them for a half year? And these BS stories did not stop after a year he would find a new medium to tell these BS stories everywhere he could. If you really thought that Howard and the others in the crew were going to just ignore that going on and not respond you're delusional.
Everybody knows Jackie made a mistake but maybe he was the smartest one on the show, you think it's easy being around a bleeding heart liberal like Howard, he's two-faced, he's pompous, he's arrogant, he is all the things that he calls Donald Trump including a hypocrite. Howard used to be the man but then, to use his expression, he "jumped the shark". How do you go from butt Bongo Fiesta to bad-mouthing Republicans and trying to convince people to vote his way. And never mind the way she speaks to his audience, these are the people that made him and this is how he talks to us? I guess it just goes to show that all those years when he was making it like the listeners were something they really were not, he was just lying to get his day in the sun which is finally come. Now, with mansions and millions, he can do what he wants, he can say what he wants and he can be the piece of dirt that he is even with tons of listeners canceling their Serious subscription
100 percent. Artie got repetitive with all the rehab and heroin. When you listen back to all the stories he told and explanations there all lies. At least you knew Jackie in some way
The only people who should of got more money was probably Riley and ETM. Maybe Beetle, but I don't think beet ever struggled as he has a huge following. Riley besides Elliot and Eric was one of the most entertaining guests. And a decent person. Elliot as much as I love him, is apparently quite a nasty person. And Eric was essentially Howard's last great guest. He should also of been paid quite well. As much as we all love Howard, without the wack pack he would never of been so popular. They lifted him to one of, if not the, greatest radio hosts ever.
King of All Blacks deserved money, too. He shoulda got a million for ripping on Ronnie the Limo Driver alone..... "Is that a Cuban link? That's a Cuban link! Oh, man, come on....."
Now imagine if Howard had kept Jackie, Billy West and had Artie in frequently, ala Gilbert, to tell his stories. The Stern show has been unfunny dogshit since the departure of Jackie & Billy and Artie is one of the best storytellers that ever lived but his joke writing is crap as evidenced by his terrible standup. He never made Howard funny like Jackie did. He was only funny himself in his stories. Now we're bombarded with how Stern is a "great interviewer' as he tongues the fart boxes of the overexposed celebrities he once hilariously mocked (via Jackie's notes and Billy's voices).
Couldn't agree more about Artie. His long-form stories were awesome; the Pig Story is off the charts!! But when he interjected into the conversation... hoofah. He never got the memo that he needed to be inclusive, and every line was about Thurman Munson, The Godfather, or Animal House.... though Caddyshack made an occasional appearance. Just awful. The Jackie and BIlly years are top of the heap!
The roasting at the start of the call was cringe af. That wasn’t even the right accent! Was like, a Hindu accent. But anyway, man…Howard gets sooooo triggered if people say anything - ANYTHING - about Jews.
Dinosaurprince: Sorry, but that's an ignorant statement even by TH-cam standards. The only things that his accent tells us is that he learned to speak American English before he was around 12 years old and that he's most likely not African-American. He was probably raised in the US or lived here for a significant period of time during his childhood. There's zero rational reason to doubt that he's Saudi just because of his accent.
My friends family is from India and he looks like it too but he was raised here and he sounds like a normal person with no accent and his name is a India name. Kind of ignorant to assume that
You can't be this stupid, first to not know that Indian and Arabian are not only different cultures but also different races, There is nothing similar about the cultures at all. Second, every person of Arab descent that I've ever met who lives here or was born here like this guy speak completely normally. I guess you've never met people who are different from you .

"Sadiki!"😅
7:56 "I love Lardy"
Calliope Music 🤣🤣🤣
Jokey the Jackman!
Poor Artie
Funny how this all came out as lies, after Jackie set the record straight.
@Charlie Bravo The link is Billy West and Stuttering John backed him up. Howard is a fraud.
Bullshit! Jackie wanted back on the show and it was already to late. Best he could do was get " the joke hunt" on Howard's channel. I heard the Jackie, Billy and John thing several times. It's called Jackie trying to save face. Jackie is the Pete Best of the radio. Greed.
It's amazing that this guy accuses Jackie of being greedy, but is a shill for Stern, one of the most greedy pelicans ever to show his beak.
You still listen
Stern talks about Jackie once every few years
@@moneymarkmontana7052 No, I don't still listen with any regularity. I don't have to listen to hear about the idiotic things Stern says these days in order to know what the show is all about. A few TH-cam clips here and there and that's plenty for me. I stopped listening around 2015 or 16.
The show could not be worse now. And Jackie was the head writer.
Toucan Sam
The hole, the woman on the show, is ridiculously useless, no character, no contribution. It’s painful to listen.
I think that Howard Stern, or however his name is , is really unfinished job of one German guy with blue eye and mustache
Did Jackie really lose out? Look what Howie has turned into.
Still, very mean at the end of the day by the hyenas. That being said, I love artie.
the show was NOT better with artie....the jackie years were the golden years...
Amen to that!
100 percent. Artie got repetitive with all the rehab and heroin. When you listen back to all the stories he told and explanations there all lies. At least you knew Jackie in some way
100%
Yes, Jackie & Billy West era was Prime Stern
@@MrBronx61 you actually got up early to listen to those guys...
The show became horrible after Jackie (and billy) left
And now….it’s a total borefest…unlistenable for a long time now….
Nancy completely sabotaged Jackie's career, then left him because of it.
If there's anything more headache inducing than listening to Robin imitating Jackie I don't know what it is and I hope to never hear it
The only people who should of got more money was probably Riley and ETM.
@@jamesknightley4201 What about big black lol he deserves a job with his education
Sa-Guilty
5:29 LMAO
is this playing through a tin can?
Howard could have spoke up for Jackie and he would’ve gotten his raise
The Darkening
When Jackie walked away the show began its ugly descent.
The roasting at the start of the call was cringe af. That wasn’t even the right accent! Was like, a Hindu accent. But anyway, man…Howard gets sooooo triggered if people say anything - ANYTHING - about Jews.
To me. The Jackie years are unlistenable. Between the hacky humor and his stupid laugh. The Artie years were the pinnacle of stern glory
100%
Howard sucks love Jackie
This is so racist... Yet Howard is Jewish
No way that guy on the phone isn’t white. No Indian/Arabian guy has a voice like that.
Kind of ignorant to assume that
@@andrewsallee3060 he sounds like a normal person..lol
You can't be this stupid, first to not know that Indian and Arabian are not only different cultures but also different races, There is nothing similar about the cultures at all. Second, every person of Arab descent that I've ever met who lives here or was born here like this guy speak completely normally. I guess you've never met people who are different from you .
Settle down Donald.
F-Timmy the cat. That’s all…
why are they doing an indian accent for a saudi arabian.. turbin?? artie the hack..🙄😒🤦♂️
Stuttering john has never been funny. Ever.
Jackie was probably tired of listening to this washed up annoying voice of Howard stern! He was probably only a few days away before getting out of there and putting his mouth on his tail pipe! As to not ever have to listen to that clown again😂
