Thanks for having me on! It was such a fun time to show this run off. Couldn't have been happier with the run (except for bull). And thank you so much to my commentators, LilAggy and spikevegeta. Can't thank Aggy enough for giving it his all while sick, and the save coming in from spikevegeta. Absolutely a memory I'll cherish forever.
This was super cool to see! (The bull is bull even without a blindfold haha.) Were there any points in this run that you were truly lost and didn't understand until you watched it later? Have any of the other endings ever been done blindfolded?
Hearing and memorization. Probably got the route and such down sighted first so it was all muscle memory and probably paid attention for sound cues as well that he could rely on. Those are the big things I can think of anyway.
Mitchriz defeating the Mist Noble BLINDFOLDED without taking ANY DAMAGE is going to be remembered for years as one of the greatest accomplishments in gaming history. Truly, I've never seen anything like it
Wow, this was such an incredible run, congratulations Mitch for blasting through such a hard setting and still getting 45 minutes under the estimate. Massive props to LilAggy for doing such a great job commentating the whole run despite having Covid and also SpikeVegeta for joining the commentator booth midway through to help him and for providing his own entertaining commentary, this was an absolute blast!
Every GDQ there are great runs, but occasionally there are runs that are really elevated to the next level by commentators that are so well choreographed that the run becomes both an entertaining thing to witness, but also a refined piece of entertainment and education. This was definitely one of those runs.
This was the big one that I'd been waiting for ever since I saw it on the schedule. Absolutely didn't disappoint. Its incredible to believe that this even exists. One of the all time great GDQ runs. Congrats Mitchriz!
Spike and Aggy co-commenting a blindfolded sekiro run is the new thing Im gonna show to people when I try to explain the greatness that is GDQ. Amazing job all around!
Absolutely AMAZING run! I legit applauded at the end. Tremendously great job to the runner for the amount of memorisation and skill needed to attempt this speedrun for us to witness. WOO!!! HELL YEAH!!!
LiLAGGY!! Found you off your Sekiro Runs and loved the commentary on this fantastic blindfolded run! You got me through the game when I hit walls, as if you and Mitchriz can do it blindfolded I should be able to do this too
I saw this live and it was probably the most impressive speedrun I've ever seen. Wow! Mitch is an absolute beast and the commentary was gorgeous! Thanks so much for this masterpiece!
I am impressed by the fact as well how well made sekiro is you can literally play it in any kind of fashion. I have seen people playing sekiro while dancing, drumming and now blindfolded. This game is also an achievement in itself
at camp one time, sleeping in a cabin with bunk beds i woke up and had to go pee. it was pitch black and i got up on the wrong side of the bed which completely disoriented me. i spent about 15 minutes just feeling around for my bunk to get my flashlight. i couldnt find the bed i had gotten out of 10 seconds beforehand. this is beyond another level.
My favourite part of the run is 13:52 He dashes into the grass, notices the rustling of the grass, and takes that as a cue to turn left and dash forward thereafter The run is FILLED with small moments like that where he uses the sound design to make sure where he is and what he needs to do. Especially against bosses where he uses sound cues of either the grunts from the bosses, the red perilous warning or the clashing of swords A testament to the great sound design that went into making this game. And of course the sheer determination and wit of the runner
The sound of this game is beautiful. For the final boss, I turned off the music and let the sounds of battle be the soundtrack. It was magical. (To be clear, I love the soundtrack as well.)
playing anything blindfolded is just like magic to me, especially when it's a 3D game. Amazing run and amazing commentary! And the dynamic between the host and commentator is so sweet
The more I keep thinking about this run the more astounding it becomes. Imagine memorizing every tiny detail of this game world, down to the CAMERA ANGLES. Just incredible.
I caught the last hour of this live, but came back to see the whole run. This was possibly one of the most amazing achievements I've ever seen in gaming. The memorisation and game knowledge required to do this, plus... BACK UP STRATS?! Absolutly mind blowing!
Love this. I just started playing this game a month ago, and have been following LilAggy's runs a lot. I'm absolutely stunned by the methodology here and wish I had known so I could see it live. Excellent work!
Amazing run that I ever seen before on a game that had people (even for me at times) go raging on bosses to see this runner simply defeating them without no hits while blindfolded. WHAT!!!!!!! Absolutely hands down run!!! Good Job!!!
jesus christ.. it took me around 14 hours or so to beat this game and I sweated my ass off the entire time as a first timer and following a guide to do it! Only to find this video where he beat this entire game blind folded in a fraction of my time and make it look fantastic.. Hats off to you my guy amazing game play.
Incredible run, blindfolded runs are already some unbelivable feats, even more on a game like Sekiro. Wish LilAggy get well soon, the coughing was not a problem, thanks for providing commentary even on those circunstances.
Having only recently gotten through my first Dark Souls 3 playthrough and struggling to beat some of the bosses even with good eyesight and walkthroughs I'm absolutely FLOORED by watching this. The level of memorization and planning is nutty.
When I see a blindfolded run of a game that's 20 years old I am beyond impressed. I'm not articulate enough to explain the level of disbelief I am in right now with a game as fresh as this. God tier gaming
Wow! Killing the hardest bosses on the first try, the plunging deathblows, the poison jump on the cliff, remembering the skill tree and the items that were picked up and navigating AND finishing the game in two hours from memory!

you are a legend.
You're a legend.
Uhhhh....the skill and memorization here is literally beyond description. I couldn't walk to my kitchen while blind folded lol
do it like 500 times and you will made it into the kitchen too.
If I even just tried to walk to the other room while blindfolded, I'd literally die twice
I couldn't take the blinds off my eyes while blindfolded!
I cannot even find my slippers at night, even when I put them at the same place always
Well, considering that memorizing a bunch of inputs it's easier than actually walk while blindfolded, I guess that he's not able to do it too. lol
gaming was never intended to go that far. If I didn,t see it I would never believe someone could play through sekiro blindfolded.
*Video games have come a long way since Pac Man*
I would have been a skeptic.
When GDQ goes back to being live, this needs to be done again just so it can recive the standing ovation it rightfully deserves.
I still don't know how this is possible as a human feat.
Same. Souls games are actually pretty crowded with sounds. Even when i play a video game my whole life i cant picture myself to play blind through it.
He is clearly a true shinobi
Hearing and memorization. Probably got the route and such down sighted first so it was all muscle memory and probably paid attention for sound cues as well that he could rely on. Those are the big things I can think of anyway.
@@moonlitxangel5771 i’m pretty sure he knows what hearing and memory are, and it was a rhetorical statement
I think humans achieved much more impressive things than this, man. Still, this is pretty impressive.
The only thing I can do blindfolded is sleeping.
I can’t even do that, the blinder is uncomfortable.
I cant even do that honestly
I can't even do THAT.
MOOD
As a insomniac I can tell you that's not bad at all
absolutely phenomenal, the sheer amount of hours the runner must have spent on training itself, wow.
I wasn't able to beat this game normally, this is just mind-blowing.
why not? just keep playing
@@cristianrezende5513 wow I bet he didn't think about that
You aren't able to beat this game yet.* Don't be discouraged.
Mitchriz defeating the Mist Noble BLINDFOLDED without taking ANY DAMAGE is going to be remembered for years as one of the greatest accomplishments in gaming history. Truly, I've never seen anything like it
Based on what happened in that segment of Aggy's run, I'd say climbing the tree was the real accomplishment there lol
I am just blown away! The Skill, Time & Preparation required for this is just Mind Boggling! Awesome Job!
The run is absolutely amazing, but real shout out to the commentator on doing this on his own with COVID.
LilAggy is amazing
Wow, this was such an incredible run, congratulations Mitch for blasting through such a hard setting and still getting 45 minutes under the estimate.

Absolutely didn't disappoint. Its incredible to believe that this even exists. One of the all time great GDQ runs. Congrats Mitchriz!
This is one of those runs u can watch over and over again. Pure insanity.
please do this again with a live audience, the runner needs to be appreciated!! Incredible skill!
I can’t even beat the game, with my eyes
Try using a controller instead it's much easier that way
You might want to use your hands too
you should use your hands instead then ...
Same
Thats your problem, you must use your hands, not the eyes!
Spike and Aggy co-commenting a blindfolded sekiro run is the new thing Im gonna show to people when I try to explain the greatness that is GDQ. Amazing job all around!
How is this even possible? He is amazing 👏
And know exactly where to go? Dam 😳
Check his channel, you can see the whole road to how to do it.
You got me through the game when I hit walls, as if you and Mitchriz can do it blindfolded I should be able to do this too
TH-cam decided everything I was doing for the next 2 hours wasn't important enough when it fed me "Sekiro in 2 hours... BLINDFOLDED"
This entire run even existing is just so ridiculously dope. What an effort it has to be to craft a run like this, bravo o//
Respect to both of the commentators who were both really informative during the run.
This is one of the most impressive feats I've ever witnessed, gaming or otherwise. I'm in awe. What an absolute legend.
I saw this live and it was probably the most impressive speedrun I've ever seen. Wow!

First time I've been at GDQ live, was super excited while watching this. You bet I donated 5 bucks for the Mist Noble fight
I'm only 22mins in and my god this is impressive! My hat goes off to Mitch and his friend who commentated very well despite having covid.
I've waited all week for this to get posted. We'll worth it
Ikr? I put it on my calendar, I could not believe this was a thing. Yep, totally worth it!
at camp one time, sleeping in a cabin with bunk beds i woke up and had to go pee. it was pitch black and i got up on the wrong side of the bed which completely disoriented me. i spent about 15 minutes just feeling around for my bunk to get my flashlight. i couldnt find the bed i had gotten out of 10 seconds beforehand. this is beyond another level.

Mitchriz, you are incredible! Keep up your grinds. I cannot wait to see you again! It was beautiful to watch you play! CONGRATS my friend.
Stellar job! The runner especially but also the commentator(s)! Thank you (and get better)!
One of the most mind-blowing things I've ever seen.
Amazing run and really heartwarming to see the casters have each others' backs like that too!
This has given me inspiration to do whatever the fuck I need to do ever.
playing anything blindfolded is just like magic to me, especially when it's a 3D game. Amazing run and amazing commentary! And the dynamic between the host and commentator is so sweet
Incredible. Really incredible what talented people can do given enough time and dedication.
The more I keep thinking about this run the more astounding it becomes. Imagine memorizing every tiny detail of this game world, down to the CAMERA ANGLES. Just incredible.

This is the most amazing run I've ever seen. So incredible!!!
I saw this live and was simply blown away. After dying to the bull a couple of times, he STILL was under time by 45 minutes...all while blindfolded.
Great commentary aggy especially because of the curcumstances 🤘
and lots of love to mitch too, great work man 🤍
By far one of the most impressive runs I have ever seen, commentated by one of the most awesome runners I have ever seen
absolutly awesome run! wow. Great comentary too. This was a blast to watch.
Love this. I just started playing this game a month ago, and have been following LilAggy's runs a lot. I'm absolutely stunned by the methodology here and wish I had known so I could see it live. Excellent work!
Man, I am glad I had eyes when I played this game.
One of the most incredible moments I’ve ever witnessed, I couldn’t even blindfold through the start menu of any game ! Well done Mitchriz
That was such a good run, glad I could watch it live!
As someone who loves Sekiro and beat it countless times, this run was still an eye opener...pun not intended
Mitchriz.... like Spike said.. you sir are truly a legend. Epic run!
Greatest feat in mankind's history since the invention of the wheel and cheese
this run is bananas. amazing stuff
Keep ripping and tearing, truly exceptional
super impressive, amazing to see a run where things can really go south
Not only he did one of the most notoriously difficult games blindfolded, he did it in one take live at an event. Absolutely next level.
This is just incredible, truly awesome!
this is not just an awesome gamer. Thats an friggin amazing dude. Everyone should be impresst in that HUGE amount of skill and passion this guy has
the dead silent concentration, mixed with a very well spoken co host? Absolutely mesmerizing. Great run, awesome commentary!
Amazing run. Wow
This is amazing
What in the holy hell.....how can this even be a real feat? Unreal.....I am astonished.
This is such a testament to the amazing sound design in this game.
Amazing run that I ever seen before on a game that had people (even for me at times) go raging on bosses to see this runner simply defeating them without no hits while blindfolded. WHAT!!!!!!! Absolutely hands down run!!! Good Job!!!

Hats off to you my guy amazing game play.
I can chew my food blindfolded I think.
Saw this speedrun live on AGDQ, was the most amazing speedrun I've seen there. Hands down
absolute legend
This is the peak of video gaming for me
maîtriser la concentration, la mémoire, et le skill tout en ayant les yeux fermés. c'est incroyable et ce mec mérite un respect énorme, juste le boss.
Watchin' this blindfolded really enhances the experience
I waited all week to see this run live, and it was worth it. I have issues beating most bosses with sight. This guy does it with ease with only sound.
Absolutely amazing work! Didnt think that was possible until i saw it.
Great run! Idk why but it feels like Spike could commentate any speedrun and be fairly knowledgeable about it lol
This run was Godly! The commentary was awesome too!
bro is like: Don't even bother with graphics you devs, I am not even watching the game
I wear glasses and I cant even take a dump without them. There are no words to describe this. Congratulations, dude
Incredible run, blindfolded runs are already some unbelivable feats, even more on a game like Sekiro.
Wish LilAggy get well soon, the coughing was not a problem, thanks for providing commentary even on those circunstances.
Just stunning to watch. Amazing work!
More respect is needed in these comments for agi's awesome soldiering on through a great commentary!
Watched this live with my mates, we were saying to each other like every 5 minutes "guys, he is doing this BLINDFOLDED". Amazing!
Having only recently gotten through my first Dark Souls 3 playthrough and struggling to beat some of the bosses even with good eyesight and walkthroughs I'm absolutely FLOORED by watching this. The level of memorization and planning is nutty.
wow what a sick run, truly pushing the limits of gaming!
Kudos to the commentary as well! Definitely rounded out the experience that would otherwise have been game sounds only.
What a humble wholesome guy. Bravo
Massive props to the commentator for explaining everything while having COVID.
When I see a blindfolded run of a game that's 20 years old I am beyond impressed.
I'm not articulate enough to explain the level of disbelief I am in right now with a game as fresh as this.
God tier gaming

This is the most impressive shit i've seen. Forget all the no hit runs or speedruns.
I can barely play this game using my eyes. Mitchriz just casually throws on a blindfold and does it at a GDQ. Fantastic work mate.
Awesome run from literally everyone, love it
I gotta say, what a trooper the speaker was, doing all that commentary with covid. I really hope he gets better.
I'm so looking forward to watching this. As soon as I saw the title card I was stoked. This is going to be amazing
Holy shit the dedication, skill, memorization. All unbelievable. How did he even get the idea to try this?
One of the greatest runs! Props to everyone!
"This is the exact moment I've been waiting throughout my whole life"
Just wow...Speechless. Absolutely amazing.
Incredible run and great commentary!
