Thanks for being here! The game is pretty easy to progress passively on as long as you log in once a day to open your packs! I'm excited to see how the game develops over time!
I really like how you provided alternate builds and "Fun Tier" decks for a lot of the EX cards! I rerolled my account until I got immersive Mewtwo EX, so I totally have the Gardevoir sweat deck built, but I've personally been having way more fun matchmaking with decks like Gardevoir + Golurk and Gyarados + Persian. I'd love to see some more of the sillier or off-meta decks you like playing! Maybe a "best Mew deck" video?
I've had a lot of success with a Gengar EX deck that runs 1 normal and 1 ex gengar and 2 jynx. The support lockdown can be pretty brutal, jynx can get some early chip damage or late game nuke damage against the right decks, normal gengar comes online real fast at just 1 energy, and ex does enough damage to clean by the time you being it out.
just wanted to say, that lapras butterfree deck is the most fun i had while playing this game! healing 60 a turn just makes me laugh 😂😂😅 thanks for the deck ideas!
I would quite like a video of pokemon cards (evolution line) tier list, it just makes it easier to see which ones are good in battle and which ones should be avoided and then a little explanation as to why they aren't good or are good.
I think best way to play Gengar is with wigglytuff, especially when the new jiggly comes out. One normal and one EX for gengar and wiggly is important for flexibility. Gengar is probably the least studied deck possible because it’s not obvious who he pairs well with. Jynx pairs also well with Gengar to make up for the 100 dmg
I have a lot of success running 2 psyducks and 1 meowth. If they start in your active spot you have the option of drawing your deck for the gengar line or stopping your opponent from using supporter cards until you have your gengar in play
Great videos, have followed your other channel for Marvel Snap for a long time. I just can’t keep up with Marvel Snap, a new Meta breaking card every week is just too much. I’m excited for the future for this game, look forward to your content!
Im so glad you're here! Something I've regretted about that channel is I didn't focus on cool videos like this or news breakdown early so I fell into the trap where my deck spotlights always outperformed anything else I did. I'm excited to do news type stuff or tier list stuff while the game is early to try to build the audience for that too! I'm also looking forward to the slower release cadence here! Major meta shifts ever 3 months or so with loads of different cards feels much more manageable than feeling bad for missing one day of mission to try to keep up with the new cards.
Thank you for being here! My daughter is doing better, but my wife and I picked it up last night. Im not 100% better but it does seem to be a pretty fast moving ug
i have an insane winrate with my 2x machamp deck and the only deck that truly fucks me over is venasaurEX, the first machamp is quick and easy to set up but vensaur and exeggutor will outlast my machamp most of the time in a trade
Dragonite may not be an EX but he works the best with Wigglytuff EX imo.. The next event will be releasing a jigglypuff with the move Sing.. allowing jigglypuff to put mons to sleep before having to go into wiggly ex.. this will be a massive buff but as I said for now I still believe she’s the best for Dnite
After opening my second Lapras ex (Incredibly lucky TBH) I can just make any water deck. I have 1 of every water ex and some of the relevant water Pokemon like Greninja. If I get at least one Moltres ex, I'll trry the Charizard ex deck too. Can you make a video of good non-ex Pokemon? I know Greninja is great, but I want to know about others
Similar to the extra copy of Charizard in the motres deck, it's to make sure you are more likely to hit an evolution line earlier! Regular gengar isn't as good as ex, but it is definitely better than haunter!
Yes! Gengar in red/blue was a menace!! If there wasn't so much aggro and high damage output, he'd be able to find a better place, but right now, he is definitely more in fun tier than top end :(
I disagree with charizard being strong against pikachu decks, moltres is weak against electric, so it dies way too quickly before u can build your charizard. If your moltres dies, the whole deck crumbles. But tbf, pikachu decks just doesnt have a huge weakness in general.
arcanine ex moltres decks are undefeated in tournaments this weekend against pikachu ex, all versions. moltres ex isnt the problem, its charizard being too slow as a stage 2 pokemon in this meta. and unlike with gardevoir and Mewtwo with its PsyDrive attack, Charizard cant reliably ramp up again after its first Crimson Storm attack. And just 1 burst attack of 200 doesnt go too far, while Arcanine EX and its Inferno Onrush going multiple times with 120 has more of a payoff.
Ahhh shoot you're right! Mewtwo and Pikachu were meant to be flipped there. (Strong into mewtwo and weak into pika) the alternate versions like arcanine are different. Arcanine is strong into pika and weaker into mewtwo. I bet I didn't get the element split in editing so when I move it for the arcanine deck it moved it for the Charizard deck too. Good callout!
@@TLSGPokemon yeah charizard is in a weird place. It can be good against every other deck, but it can also be weak to every other deck. It mostly depends on rng, which means it’s inconsistent unfortunately.
@@Marowakie charizard ex loses horribly to starmie ex, which is arguably the second best deck in the meta after pikachu ex. thats its biggest problem, before even getting into its pikachu ex and mewtwo ex matchups
So i have my one F2P account so i don't have the best cards... Only dup ex i have is wigglytuff...i made a 2 wiggly 2 hypno deck, with Snorlax to stall.... The amount of chance that enemy stays asleep is pretty funny
The Mewtwo deck is complete trash it takes too long to set up it's also luck dependent as well as when you do set it up it's already too late because your opponent is set up themselves switching to the basic Mewtwo is still too slow yes you won't lose two points but still the deck is too slow
I mean, if it was actually trash it wouldnt be topping so much in tournaments. Stats dont lie. Its the go to midgame powerhouse with easy 50 damage while building to that 150.
This is kinda silly. We see decks continually perform better or worse in different matchup. A game by game basis could be determined by a lucky coin flip, but performing consistently at that level is a different story
The pikachu decks seemss the most stable, easy to set up and not reliant on coin flip that much If i only have one pikachu ex who should i fill in? i am running 2 zebstrike, 2 zapdos ex, and 1 pinchurcin, Is this enough pokemon and i can fill in with random item card?
Hey guys! I hope you like this style of video! I had a lot of fun making it and would love to do more in the future!
Appreciate the information & good style in video production (info, visuals & format)
Thank you! This is a bit outside of my normal style, so know that the visuals and presentation were good goes a long ways!
So many fun decks out there! This was a great video! Keep up the great pocket content!
Really good and concise video. I enjoyed this format.
Thank you! I would love to do more videos like this each week! Maybe 1-2 on different topics and 1-2 deck spotlights!
Great video and much appriciated!!
Thank you! Trying to branch out past just deck highlights!
Great run through
Love this. Definitely going to try Gengar EX
Great video! There is a Pikachu variation that runs one surge and 2 Pikachu and Raichu that has been showing a lot of promise in tournament play.
Yes
It’s truthfully the best. With pikachu you take out everything but that lapras , and when you store up raichu you use it as a closer bomb.
i really gotta grind this game. thanks for the vid "The Lonely Sniper Guy"

I still like to focus on winning, but especially right with no ranked mode there no downside to experiments and trying different fun builds!
Great video 🎉

The promo jiggly will open up so many possibilities for wigglytuff ex and just stall decks in general!
Hopefully it can find a way to bring Gengar into relevance! I love the card, but just haven't found anything great to pair it with so far :(
I have a lot of success running 2 psyducks and 1 meowth. If they start in your active spot you have the option of drawing your deck for the gengar line or stopping your opponent from using supporter cards until you have your gengar in play

Would you say a pikachu deck is still viable without zapdos?
many people crazy with Pikachu ex deck and Mewtwo ex deck. But for me i love Articuno ex deck so much. So annoying and very strong deck in my opinion
i really enjoy the 18 trainers Lapras EX Deck 🙂
Especially if you get lucky with pulling articuno early it can be a very easy build that can still grab wins!
For a if it hits, it's a win or concede, Misty decks are it.
What is the purpose of regular Gengar in that Gengar deck ?
Similar to the extra copy of Charizard in the motres deck, it's to make sure you are more likely to hit an evolution line earlier! Regular gengar isn't as good as ex, but it is definitely better than haunter!
